Big Brother Couple Reveals Miscarriage in Middle of Season 20

Bayleigh Dayton and Swaggy C concluded Big Brother Season 20 on quite a high note: On Wednesday evening, the reality star shocked viewers by getting engaged on an emotional and intense finale. Two days later, however, the pair got together for a YouTube video and confessed that this major high followed a tragic low just a few weeks earlier. Bayleigh miscarried Swaggy's baby while the CBS series was in the middle of filming. “During our time in the Big Brother house, I did conceive a little baby, but unfortunately — and we don't know why — but I had a miscarriage in the jury house,” Dayton says in the video featured here, adding; “It's something that we're still figuring out. We actually just got a chance to talk to each other about it for the first time today.” The news came as a surprise, it sounds like, but a welcome one. “I would've been ecstatic if I were to have a baby,” Bayleigh continued. “It would've been a blessing, and we were both really excited when we found out. And we were both really, really upset when we found out we lost it. [Swaggy] knew that I lost the baby before he decided to propose, and he still decided to propose. “So the whole people saying, 'He's only proposing 'cause I'm pregnant' thing — that's hurtful, so stop.” Swaggy reiterated this point when it was his turn to speak. “People keep saying that I'm proposing because she's pregnant, and that's not the case at all,” he said. “But going through that process and creating a child but also losing a child with her made me realize that this is my girl, and I'm going to marry her. “I don't care that we've only been together for 23 days. I don't care. This is the one I wanna spend the rest of my life with.” Dayton and Swaggy became the first stars to ever get engaged on a Big Brother finale. And, we'd have to assume, the first stars to suffer this sort of tragedy during filming as well. As a caption to the video, Swaggy wrote the following: We know the rumors going around. Bayleigh and I were so excited to be parents. 6 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately, circumstances happen and we had a miscarriage. I wanna thank the HIVE for taking care of my Fiancé in the jury house during her hospital visits, and I wanna thank both of our families for keeping me sane afterwards. Also, a thanks to CBS for making sure she was taken care of properly.  Love you all. Thank you for your support. Check out the emotional footage now.

Catelynn Lowell: See the Adorable Moment She Tells Her Daughter She’s Pregnant!

By now, you've surely heard the big Teen Mom OG news, right? And no, we're not talking about the additions of Cheyenne Floyd and Bristol Palin to the cast. We're talking, of course, about Catelynn Lowell's pregnancy! Yep, after having a miscarriage last year that was so traumatizing it caused her to contemplate suicide, Catelynn is pregnant with what she's been calling her “rainbow baby.” She and husband Tyler Baltierra seem very, very excited about adding another member to their family, and it's been pretty cute to see. So far, we know that the baby is due on March 6th , and although there's been no official gender reveals, reports claim that they're having another girl. And thanks to this adorable new Teen Mom OG sneak peek, we know that their daughter Nova is pumped about being a big sister! The clip starts off with Catelynn and Nova making cupcakes while Tyler sits at the table nearby. Cate tells Nova that some of their cupcakes are going to be pink and others are going to be blue, then asks her if she knows why they're making them that way. Nova honestly just seems psyched about cupcakes in general, so Catelynn asks her if she knows why they're having a party the next day. “Mommy has a baby in her belly,” she explains to her, “and tomorrow the party is because we're going to find out if it's a little girl or a little boy.” “Yeah!” Nova responds, soaking up the news. Cate asks her if she'd rather have a little brother or sister, and Nova doesn't hesitate to say she'd prefer a sister. Tyler, who's always been open about how much he wants a son, makes a face, then asks her “What if it's a boy?” Catelynn asks her if she'd be happy with a little brother too, and she says she would, because she's precious and perfect. They start talking to Nova about babies, and they tell her babies cry a lot. “Yeah, then you just say 'shh,'” Nova says, again, because she is too cute for this world. She then says that she's going to rock the baby and feed it bottles and be a big sister. “He's so cute!” she exclaims. “I love him!” The whole thing is really just painfully adorable, it really is. It's also nice to see a lighthearted moment with the family, after how heavy things got for them last season. Some people think that Catelynn and Tyler rushed into having another baby , that they should have waited longer after her trips to rehab. But one thing is for sure, and that is that Nova is going to be the best big sister. Check out the sweet moment in the video below:

Tyler Baltierra Shows Off Jaw-Dropping, 43-Pound Weight Loss!

Teen Mom star Tyler Baltierra has flaunted his wild weight loss before, but this time, his thirst trap is accompanied by a before photo. In case the powerful visual of his body’s transformation isn’t enough, he reveals exactly how much weight he’s lost. Take a look: Tyler Baltierra posted a pair of shirtless photos of himself. In the first, he looks overweight. It’s not an especially flattering image for a few reasons. His body type in the pic could be described as “soft” or even, dare we say it, ” dad bod .” Tyler wants fans to know how much weight he’s lost, so he starts his captions with his stats. “208lbs to 165lbs!” Tyler announces.  That makes for a weight difference of 43 pounds. Wow! “I’ve been eating healthy for about 7 months,” Tyler reveals about his lifestyle transformation. Tyler then clarifies what he means by healthy food, since everybody has their own definition. He explains: “(no processed foods/low carbs/no sugar)” Different diets have different effects, but you can’t argue with his results! Tyler has been eating like this for more than half a year. “But,” he says. “I’ve only been working out for 3 of those months.” Diet and exercise combined are radically transforming his body. “And,” Tyler writes. “I’m finally starting to see results from it!” Um, we’re all seeing those results. “#ReachingGoals,” Tyler tagged his post. “#SelfLove.” Learning to love yourself is a great first step to taking measures to improve your health. He followed that up with the tags: “#Dedication #NaturalEndorphins.” Exercise may be miserable, but the release of natural endorphins is part of the reward. He’s not competing for Catelynn’s heart — he won that a long time ago. He’s comparing his body and his current weight to his old body and his old weight. Tyler Baltierra working out and posting these thirst traps has been great for his self esteem. It has also, some cynical fans fear, been a warning that Tyler and Catelynn will get divorced . Some people worry when one spouse suddenly starts working hard on getting hot. While Catelynn obviously enjoys his new hot body, some fans fear that he’s preparing to leave her or at least step out on her. If, they say, he has not done so already. But Tyler isn’t getting hot so that he can bang other women. He’s getting hot for himself. He is working to better his physical health, his mental health, and his emotional health. Tyler has been open and honest about his struggles, but improving his health from without and within can really help him — in conjunction with proper medication and therapy. By sharing his journey with fans and followers, Tyler is showing that they can follow in his footsteps. Plus, he’s also showing off a little. That’s okay. He has more than earned those bragging rights. View Slideshow: Catelynn Lowell: Pregnant with Baby #3!

Catelynn has been to rehab several times over the course of the past two years, and while she's made progress with her mental health, insiders say she and Tyler both continue to struggle daily. Now, it seems they've decided that in order to make their marriage work, they'll both need to address their mental health issues with the help of professionals. Catelynn Lowell Opens Up About Suicidal Thoughts In Shocking Interview

As expected, last night’s Teen Mom OG reunion show was loaded with drama, much of it having to do with ongoing questions about Ryan Edwards’ sobriety. But while Ryan’s situation may have dominated the tabloid headlines in recent weeks, he’s certainly not the only member of the TMOG cast to grapple with personal demons this season. Catelyn Lowell checked into rehab three times over the course of the past year. Unlike Ryan, however, her primary battle was not with substances but with mental illness. Lowell opened up about experiencing suicidal thoughts prior to seeking treatment in November, and during her interview with Dr. Drew that aired last night, she revealed that her situation has improved dramatically in recent months. “If I don’t go somewhere else today, I’m going to off myself and life would be 10 times better,” Catelynn said, recalling her lowest point. “I could picture myself driving into an electrical pole off the road, praying it would kill me. But I wouldn’t do it because I had my kid in the backseat.” These days, Catelynn says, her life is not without its struggles, but changes in her diagnosis ( Lowell suffers from PTSD ) and her medications have left her feeling that she’s equipped to handle the ups and downs. Lowell also says she’s quit pot for good after being advised that the use of recreational drugs might have exacerbated her condition in the past. For his part, Tyler said he still smokes occasionally but was quick to add that he never gets high in his wife’s presence. “I don’t smoke around her,” Tyler told Dr. Drew. Lowell stated in several recent interviews that Tyler has been endlessly supportive throughout her recent struggles. The segment ended with more good news for the Baltierra clan, as  Tyler’s troubled father, Butch Baltierra , joined the proceedings via Skype and informed the audience that he’s been sober ever since completing rehab back in November. It was a bittersweet interview, with Lowell addressing the subject of her miscarriage and fighting tears while discussing the “emotional year” that threatened to tear her family apart. But Catelynn and Tyler survived, in part thanks to their love for one another. Yes, Ryan’s recent bad behavior may make for more scandalous television, but thankfully TMOG viewers seem more interested in celebrating the casts’ successes than in gawking at their misfortunes. Watch Teen Mom OG online for more on Catelynn’s courageous struggle. View Slideshow: Catelynn Lowell Checks into Rehab AGAIN: What Happened?!

Catelynn Lowell Claps Back at Rehab-Shamers: You’re Ignorant!!

In the wake of being slammed for going back to rehab , Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell is clapping back at her haters. She’s being mom-shamed, wife-shamed, and plain ol’ shamed for “abandoning” her family. And she’s clapping back. Take a look at her strong words — and at the hate to which she was responding. Following the episode in which she explained the reason she was returning to rehab , Catelynn Lowell took to Twitter to put the haters on blast. “All you ignorant people are the reason why mental health still has this huge stigma around it!” The stigma surrounding mental health is devastating, though things are getting better as more and more people use social media to share what was once a private struggle. She shares some hashtags that encourage people to learn more about mental health. ” # GetEducated # KeepTalkingMH” She wishes that people wouldn’t condemn her for going to rehab when they clearly do not know what they’re talking about. “You have NO clue unless you have been through it yourself.” In many ways, Catelynn feels exhasperated. “Some of you people disgust me.” She continues to correct the people who think that she was abandoning her family by going to rehab. “I wasn’t ‘running away’ from my problems I was FIXING them!” Yep. Seeking medical help when you need it is the right thing to do. “Working HARD & getting on the right medication.” Sometimes, that requires inpatient treatment. “I wouldn’t wish this crap on my worst enemy!” Mental illness is a terrible burden. The only good thing about it is that more people are speaking openly about their struggles. “But I guess I’ll have haters no matter what! Just glad I got myself better and if ppl r mad then be mad I guess # KeepTalkingMH” Having haters — and ideally learning to accept them — goes with the territory of being a reality star, unfortunately. Catelynn retweeted a few supportive tweets, including one that reads: “I’ve done outpatient & inpatient treatment and sometimes outpatient just isn’t enough at that certain time! That’s nothing to be ashamed of. dont listen to the hate! I’ll never understand how you guys deal with so much bullshit from random people! You’re so strong!” She also clapped back at a hater, who wrote: “Us people? Smh” Catelynn’s own tweet responded: “Yes the ones that are uneducated on mental illness. That’s what ignorance is. People with uneducated opinions.” She’s not wrong. If you want to see what sorts of hate she’s fighting back again, take a look at this small sampling of social media vitriol that fills her mentions: “Lots of wives and mothers have to do this while still raising a family. Not everyone has the luxury of dumping their family and hopping on a plane to a rehab center to ‘get their meds right’. They do that between raising a family and working a full time job.” Ugh. “If she got a job, joined a gym & ate the right food that be half the battle for her! She’s too much time to sit around eating smoking and thinking. Get a life and live it! Get healthy for one that’s a start.” Gross. “You’re not the only parent struggling with mental health issues. I am a single parent with mental health issues BUT, I still have to provide for my family and be there when my children need me. You are putting Nova in the same position your parents put you in, think about that.” Yikes. “Wasn’t she instructed to stay away from social media? She’s a non-compliant patient which makes one wonder in what other areas of her life is she not following the process? Does she even *want* to get better?” Hush. “You complain too much!!! Get over it. People have been through worst s–t then you and youre dragging s–t out thats 10+ yrs old. Woman up. Can’t even cook for your man” These haters may be eager to slam Catelynn for making what was clearly a responsible choice for herself and for her loved ones. But Tyler Baltierra is standing by his wife. In response to her on-camera confession that she needed to return to rehab in order to truly recover, he said: “I’m not ever leaving, I’m not going anywhere. Don’t think like that.” He reiterated that message on social media, writing: “I love you more Babe! True love is boundless, limitless, & unconditional!” View Slideshow: Catelynn Lowell SLAMMED for Going Back to Rehab: Does She Deserve the Hate?

Catelynn Lowell SLAMMED for Going Back to Rehab: Does She Deserve the Hate?

So something funny happened after the season finale of Teen Mom OG aired this week … Believe it or not, against all odds, Catelynn Lowell became the most hated cast member on the whole entire show. Or, OK, maybe not the most hated, but if you follow online conversations about Teen Mom, you'll see that Cate has been getting a whole, whole lot of backlash for what happened during this week's show. Does she deserve the criticism for returning to rehab shortly after checking out? Let's investigate! 1. Treatment As we saw this season, Catelynn checked into rehab back in November after she began feeling suicidal. She had a miscarriage and it was very hard for her to handle, so she flew out to Arizona for approximately six weeks of treatment. 2. Doing Well? We didn’t see any actual treatment, but we did see Tyler and Nova visit her, along with other family members. As time went on, she seemed happier and happier, and everyone had high hopes that she was doing well there. 3. Not So Fast But then she came home during the season finale. And we quickly saw that she wasn’t doing as well as it seemed. 4. Sad, Sad, Sad She appeared to be disinterested in everything, which, you know, depression. But this time around, fans of the show weren’t as forgiving with her behavior. 5. Poor Everyone We saw her snap at Nova as she was putting her down for a nap, and we saw Tyler bite his tongue about it — he obviously wasn’t comfortable with what was happening. 6. Exhausted Then when they went to go check out the renovations on the house they’d bought, she sat in the corner while Tyler did business. He bit his tongue again when she explained that she was exhausted, because he watched her sleep all night as he continued to deal with insomnia. View Slideshow
