Arsenio Hall BLASTS Brian Williams for "Hijacking Valor" from Military

Arsenio Hall has absolutely gone off on Brian Williams. Not long after Williams broke his silence  – appearing opposite Matt Lauer and blaming his ego for the many lies he told as host of NBC Nightly News – Hall went on Twitter and let the reporter have it. “Brian Williams is a LIAR, who betrayed his loyal viewers & attempted to hijack the valor of our brave men & women in the military,” wrote Hall. The comedian also included hashtag “#f*ckhim.” Back in February, NBC suspended Williams for six months after it became clear the anchor misled viewers about the role he played in various Iraq War incidents. On Thursday, it was announced Lester Holt will permanently replace Williams as the head of the NBC Nightly News. Williams has been bumped to covering breaking news for MSNBC. During his TODAY interview, the veteran newsman acknowledged he told “wrong stories” and said he “owns up” to his false statements. Beyonce Honors Charleston Shooting Victims Via Instagram

Beyonce has done her part to honor the victims of this week tragic shooting in Charleston . Days after Dylann Roof alleged prayed for an hour inside a church in South Carolina, only to then stand up and open fire on those in bible study, the singer has posted a touching video to Instagram. The clip depicts a black-and-white Google Maps screenshot of the church, as names of the nine victims who lost their lives in the fatal incident flash across the screen. “My heart is with the families, loved ones, and all of those affected by the senseless tragedy in Charleston,” Beyonce included with the footage. “May they rest in peace.” There's very little celebrities can do at this point, obviously, but many of them have taken to social media to express similar condolences as the ones shared here.

Prince Performs Secret Show For Presidential Family Apparently the Obamas rocked out to Prince at a private party in their home over the weekend…but it’s none of our business. Guests invited to jam with the purple one posted all sorts of details and snaps to social media , however the all the President’s men are keeping mum on whether or not the phantom concert actually went down. Via Fox News : Prince performed some of his greatest hits at a weekend White House party for President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. But although guests put details on social media, White House spokesman Josh Earnest is refusing to confirm the “Purple Rain” singer’s attendance. Earnest says he has no details about the private event. A reported 500 lobbyists, corporate executives, celebrities and other guests attended. Earnest says the Obamas threw the party “on their own dime.” He did not say how much it cost or what they would pay for. The Rev. Al Sharpton tweeted Sunday after leaving the White House that it was “awesome” to see Prince and Stevie Wonder together on the keyboards. Prince performed in town Saturday at the Warner Theater. Well…there’s no real need to confirm this, is there? Their party, their money, their business…

Sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that Carey Mulligan will soon receive An Education is child-rearing… because she’s expecting her first child with husband Marcus Mumford! “They weren’t planning on announcing, but she hasn’t stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they’re going back to England after.” The former Oscar nominee strolled the red carpet of the 2015 Tony Awards in New York City on Sunday, donning strapless gown that perfectly concealed her growing baby bump. But it is there, the tabloid insists. “They weren’t planning on announcing, but she hasn’t stopped working,” an insider says of Mulligan . “Everybody around her is being very supportive. Even though we’re still several weeks away from the premiere of I Am Cait , Caitlyn Jenner has reportedly moved on to planning her next project. Details are scarce, but one thing is for certain – it will not involve reality TV. Radar Online is reporting that Caitlyn wants Kris Jenner to have no part in his professional life , which means cutting ties with the franchise that re-launched his career back in 2007. “She will obviously do cameos, but Caitlyn is thinking that a KUWTK spin-off is tasteless,” says one insider.  “Caitlyn has much bigger projects in mind now. She wants to executive produce a slew of reality shows and TV programs based on various angles of transgender awareness and she’s in talks with several networks.” “Also, Caitlyn doesn’t want to drive her kids apart anymore by doing a spin-off that would compete.” Yes, in addition to the fact she doesn’t want the Jenner patriarch cashing in on her transition, Caitlyn is essentially calling a truce in her ongoing feud with Kris Jenner  by not launching a competing reality show. “She is doing everything that she can right now to make sure that she doesn’t hurt anyone anymore and the last thing she wants to do is make her children choose sides.” Caitlyn just keeps getting better and making Kris look worse. Mary Ellen Trainor Dies; Veteran Actress Was 62

Mary Ellen Trainor, a veteran actress likely best remembered for appearing in all four Lethal Weapon movies, passed away on May 20 at her home in Montecito, California. She was 62 years old. Kathleen Kennedy, a long-time friend of the star’s and the President of Lucasfilm, confirmed the sad news to The Hollywood Reporter today, though no cause of death has been verified. Trainor married director Robert Zemeckis in 1980 and made her big big screen debut as the character of Elaine in Romancing the Stone. She and her husband later also worked together on Back to the Future Part II (1989), Death Becomes Her (1992) and Forrest Gump (1994). They divorced in 2000. Trainor played Los Angeles police psychiatrist Dr. Stephanie Woods in the quartet of Lethal Weapon films and also made a memorable appeared in The Goonies.
