Tommy Ramone, the last surviving member of iconic punk rock group The Ramones, died on Friday, a business associate has confirmed. He was 62 years old. No further details on Ramone’s death have been released, but his passing was announced by Dave Frey, who works for Ramones Productions and Silent Partner Management. A drummer, Tommy Ramone co-founded the Ramones in 1974 in New York along with singer Joey Ramone; bassist DeeDee Ramone. and guitarist Johnny Ramone. All four band members were born different last names, but took the common name Ramone as part of their image. The group’s biggest hits included, “I Wanna Be Sedated,” “Blitzkrieg Bop,” and “Beat on the Brat.” The Ramones were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. Joey Ramone passed way in 2001 from lymphatic cancer, while Dee Dee Ramone died the following year from a drug overdose and Johnny Ramone succumbed to prostate cancer on 2004. Dave Legeno, an actor best known for portraying the werewolf Fenrir Greyback in multiple Harry Potter films, was found dead this week in California. He was 50 years old. According to TMZ and Yahoo sources, Legeno’s body was discovered by hikers on Sunday in in Death Valley National Park. Authorities – who had to airlift the corpse away via helicopter because the area was so remote – believe Legeno passed away from heat-related complications; he may have been dead for a minimum of three days by the time his body was found. Temperatures in this region around this time of year can exceed 120 degrees. Legeno was also an MMA fighter who went by the ring name The Enforcer and appeared in such other films as The Raven and Snow White and the Huntsman. He is survived by one daughter in her 20s. In the wake of Matt Bendik’s shocking death , everyone who knew the 35-year old nightclub owner is trying to make sense of what happened. As previously reported, the boyfriend of Glee star Becca Tobin was found dead inside a Philadelphia hotel room yesterday, with a housekeeper finding his body and calling the police around 1 p.m. He was pronounced not long after that, with authorities saying there were no signs of foul play in the room. No weapons, no injuries on the body, no drugs or even any alcohol in the area. Matt Bendik Found Dead “He was such a solid guy,” an insider tells Us Weekly of Bendik , who owned several establishments. “What a loss… Everyone is looking for answers and reasons right now.” Another source says Bendik “didn’t do drugs,” and “only casually” drank. He was a generally clean, sober and level-headed individual. “He was a hardworking businessman, the nicest guy, very diligent, with such vision,” this second source says. “It is unbelievable. None of us knows what it could be. He was a guy that loved life and loved living.” As for his relationship with the actress behind Kitty Wilde on Glee? “He was doing really well and they were happy together.” Our thoughts go out to the friends, family and loved ones of Matt Bendik. Earlier this week, Farrah Abraham announced that she’s opening a new restaurant in Austin, Texas, with the former Teen Mom / porn star looking to move on from her tawdry past. One clever hacker insisted on reminding potential patrons of how Farrah made the fortune she used to invest in this latest business venture, however. The website for Froco was hacked last night and images from the Farrah Abraham “sex tape” , Backdoor Teen Mom, were uploaded to the site’s homepage. One would think that Farrah’s not terribly ashamed of her porn past, as she literally wrote a book called Celebrity Sex Tape , but sadly the images were quickly taken down. And here we were looking forward to perusing 31 flavors while watching Farrah get it from every angle at the same time. Sigh. Maybe someday. Check out one of the hacked pics after the jump … Nice. The hackers also posted a music video for the Flo Rida club anthem “You Spin Me Round” under the image of a naked Farrah Abraham. (Get it? You spin her ’round to sex her in the butt. Okay, moving on.) While the hack was quickly nixed by Froco’s webmaster, it looks as though the chain didn’t back anything up (Unlike Farrah! Zing!) as its website has been reduced to blank templates and chains of code. Froco doesn’t officially launch until October (what better time to open a frozen yogurt-inspired chain than right after summer?), but we’re sure plenty of customers will remember this embarrassment for years to cum come. In a deeply personal essay for Elle UK, Kesha opens up about her recent stint in rehab and the pressure of Hollywood that helped land her there. “I’ve written songs about partying, but my dirty little secret is that I’m actually incredibly responsible,” the singer writes. “I take my music and career very seriously, and certainly didn’t land in this situation from partying. “But I was cut off from the outside world and I imagined people making up stories at a time when what I really needed was support.” Kesha ( no more dollar sign ) then admits she needed help for an “eating disorder” and explained how such an ailment came to be: “I felt like part of my job was to be as skinny as possible, and to make that happen, I had been abusing my body. I just wasn’t giving it the energy it needed to keep me healthy and strong.” The artist said she couldn’t help but compare her figures to others around her. (And it didn’t help when Dr. Luke reportedly slammed Kesha’s body during a music video shoot.) “The music industry has set unrealistic expectations for what a body is supposed to look like, and I started becoming overly critical of my own body because of that,” she writes. “I felt like people were always lurking, trying to take pictures of me with the intention of putting them up online or printing them in magazines and making me look terrible” Kesha says she became “scared” to walk around in public or even go online. The musician spent two months in rehab. “During that time I began to feel a shift in my mentality and really started to understand my own self-worth. We have an update on the unexpected death of Matt Bendik . Matt Bendik Found Dead According to TMZ sources, many questions remain regarding what happened to Bendik , but local police are labeling the passing as “sudden.” They say his body was found face down around 1 p.m and that no foul play is suspected. Bendik seemingly died in his sleep, with no drugs or drug paraphernalia found in the room, nor any mention of alcohol or medications. There were no weapons at the scene and no signs of bodily harm. The last person to see Bendik alive was reportedly the manager of a club he, Tobin and friends frequented on Wednesday night, shooting down reports that he and Becca left together that evening.
