Adele Says Beyonce Helped Her Overcome Anxiety

British songstress talks stage fright and body image in Rolling Stone cover story. By Gil Kaufman Adele Photo: Larry Busacca/ Getty Images While she was besting Britney Spears on the American album charts and helping to lead a new British invasion , U.K. soul pop diva Adele also landed the cover of the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine. And though the cover marks yet another milestone of her rising fame, Adele isn’t immune to some of the same fears as the rest of us, say, stage fright. Despite her calm assurance in the studio and apparent ease at coping with her sudden success, the Grammy winner told the magazine that she still has nervous nights. “I’m scared of audiences,” she said. “One show in Amsterdam I was so nervous, I escaped out the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don’t like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.” And it’s not just audiences that freak her out, it’s other celebrities. But the singer revealed that she has drawn some strength from an unlikely source: Beyonc

Bret Easton Ellis Said WHAT About Glee?!?

Good news for Victoria Jackson. The former Saturday Night Live star, who said Glee makes kids gay , has no longer uttered the most ridiculous, disparaging remark about the Fox hit. Just read what Bret Easton Ellis, an author best known for American Psycho , Tweeted last night: “I like the idea of Glee but why is it that every time I watch an episode I feel like I’ve stepped into a puddle of HIV?” Ummm… because you’re a fear-mongering, ignorant moron? Ellis has over 141,000 followers on Twitter and has said in the past that he doesn’t identify as gay or straight. He’s also released similarly strange, bitter Tweets in the past. During the ” It Gets Better ” campaign, which debuted soon after a rash of teen suicide and which featured a number of celebrities sending positive messages to gay youths, Ellis wrote: “Not to bum everyone out, but can we get a reality check here? It gets worse.” Sure. For close-minded bigots perhaps.

Hayden Panettiere’s Red Hot Little Cleavage

Alright, this is the kind of thing I like to see at the end of a long day of writing crap about celebrities. Here’s one of my favorite little hotties Hayden Panettiere dropping some sexy little cleavage as she signs autographs for her fans. That’s it, lift and separate. She’s at the premiere of the latest Scream movie with her pasty white friend Emma Roberts . Now there’s a duo I wouldn’t mind getting a closer look at. more pictures of Hayden Panettiere here

Jury Questionnaire in Michael Jackson Manslaughter Case: Anybody Use Propofol?

Dr. Conrad Murray’s lawyers and the prosecutors in the upcoming Michael Jackson manslaughter trial want to know all sorts of things about potential jurors. A 30-page long questionnaire with 117 questions asks everything from whether individuals read celebrity gossip blogs to whether they’re insomniacs. Some of the many highlights of the exhaustive list include: What Internet sites or celebrity blogs if any, do you visit on a regular basis? Have you posted any blogs concerning Michael Jackson or Conrad Murray? Have you or anyone close to you ever worked in any aspect of the media? Then there are these six questions in which prospective jurors must select either Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Agree, Strongly Agree or No Opinion … Celebrities and high-profile people feel like they are entitled to act however they please Celebrities and high-profile people think they can bend the rules Celebrities and high-profile people abuse their power and status to intimidate other into giving them what they want Celebrities and high-profile people in Los Angeles get away with crimes because of their status Celebrities and high-profile people in Los Angeles are treated the same way by the police as anyone else Police are more lenient with celebrities and high-profile people Then there’s the medical portion, critical to the prosecution and the defense of Murray, who will likely claim that Michael Jackson killed himself : Have you or anyone close to you ever had a job that required a professional license? Was that license ever suspended, revoked, restricted, or the subject of investigation or inquiry. Do you have any familiarity with the following medications? (several drugs are listed, many of them drugs MJ took, including Propofol) Do you know anyone who is or has been addicted to prescription medication? Are you or someone close to you currently taking medication for pain, anxiety, depression or insomnia? Reports say Murray is seeking responsible jurors who take responsibility for their own actions, in hopes he will not be found liable for MJ’s death. That’s all tall order, considering he was treating him with a drug he most likely should not have used, but was MJ a lost cause, as Murray claims? Did he push the limit so far no one can be blamed but himself? That’s what he’ll be asking the jury. The trial is set for May 9.

Pia Toscano Gets Support From Ellen DeGeneres, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Hudson, More

Celebs take to Twitter to express shock after singer’s ‘American Idol’ elimination. By Gil Kaufman Pia Toscano sings goodbye on “American Idol” Photo: FOX It was the shock heard ’round the world. Within hours of Pia Toscano’s unexpected elimination on “American Idol” on Thursday night, celebrities and past “Idol” contestants took to Twitter to express their dismay at the ousting of the raven-haired singer who many had pegged as the woman who could break the recent string of male dominance on the show. “Who are the people that vote on ‘American Idol’?,” tweeted Ashton Kutcher. “That’s just crazy! That Pia girl is dope.” Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson , who knows a thing or two about being booted off “Idol” way before her time, was equally dumbfounded. “I can not believe they just eliminated Pia!,” she wrote to her followers. “Really???? … Long as she walked away with that voice she will be alright!! Just hate to see talent like that go!” Some “Jersey Shore” castmembers were also upset about the results, with Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola writing , “Nooo please tell me why Pia is in the bottom 3?!” early in the show, then following up with, “WHAT!!!!!!!!! … wow. Upset over ‘American Idol’ right now.” Housemate Snooki wasn’t feeling it either, saying simply, ” ‘American Idol’ … WTF … Pia should have won the whole thing! I’m not watchin Idol anymore. I’m with JLO on this one.” After begging fans to stay with the show following Toscano’s booting, host Ryan Seacrest tweeted about what the scene was like when the cameras stopped rolling. “After we went off air no one in audience left their seat, everyone was in shock. Judges walked on stage to talk to her,” he wrote . “@JLo was emotional.” He used the opportunity to once again urge viewers to vote if they don’t like the results of Thursday’s show. “No one is EVER safe,” he insisted. “Gotta vote for ur fav.” Beatboxing singer Blake Lewis, runner-up to the last female who won the show, season six’s Jordin Sparks, was also dismayed, but said he thought Pia would be just fine. “Wow. Still blown away by America not voting for PIA! @PToscanoAI10 She will record a dope record and be fine, but come on. This stinks,” he tweeted . Other celebs weighed in as well, including one-season “Idol” judge Ellen DeGeneres, who told her followers that she was “shocked and sad” about Pia’s exit. Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks wrote , “Don’t have an ‘Idol’ habit, but how could the USA vote Pia off? I may be done for the season!” Others expressing dismay included Marlon Wayans, Minka Kelly, Alyssa Milano, former “Idol” finalist Melinda Doolittle and “Parenthood” actor Dax Shepard. In the end, Pia herself tweeted a farewell (for now), telling her followers, “I’m truly going to miss my idol family! Thank you @JLo Randy and Steven for believing in me. Love you and love my fans!” How do you feel about Pia’s elimination? Let us know in the comments below! Mariah Carey Poses Topless, Pregnant For Life & Style

‘I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience,’ pop diva says of the magazine photo shoot. By James Dinh Mariah Carey on the cover of Life & Style magazine Photo: Life & Style Like quite a few celebrities-turned-mothers before her, Mariah Carey has shed her clothes at the height of her pregnancy for an intimate photo shoot. For the new issue of Life & Style magazine, which hits newsstands on Friday, the powerhouse diva offers some candid belly-baring images and opens up about her journey to motherhood. “I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” the 42-year-old songbird told the mag. “My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.” On the cover, Carey poses with one arm high and the other across her very pregnant belly while her golden-blonde hair flows over her chest. Meanwhile, the singer apparently wasn’t the only one excited about the intimate photo shoot. Carey, who is pregnant with twins (a boy and a girl), revealed, “The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl — clearly she’s a diva in training!” While the babies aren’t due for another few weeks, Carey and husband Nick Cannon were alerted just last week when contractions sent the singer to the hospital. She explained to Life & Style that her photo shoot was delayed due to their impromptu trip, saying, “We didn’t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!” As her due date looms closer, Carey admitted that pregnancy has enlightened her to a brand-new perspective on motherhood. “Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who’ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples,” she said, adding, “We need to have Mother’s Day once a week!” Soon-to-be-father Cannon is also basking in the thrill of his twins’ impending arrival, telling the magazine that he thought he “couldn’t love Mariah more,” but admitting that he now has “a whole new appreciation and admiration for her.” Send your well-wishes to Mariah and Nick in the comments!
