For ages, fans have longed to know if a Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez wedding is on the way . They’ve been official for more than a year and a half. Now, fans believe that they’ve spotted J Lo sporting a massive diamind ring. Take a look, below: The ring made its debut on Alex Rodriguez’s Instagram in a video set in the stands of a baseball stadium. “Alright, here we are at Fenway,” Alex says. “After four and a half… two to one, Dodgers!” he says. Then he asks: “Jennifer, what’s the sign?” She gestures, as you’re about to see, as if making a ruling on the game. “Alright, there you have it,” he says. “Looks like a hit and run, back to you, Joe!” Fans and followers were less interested in his pretend sports commentary than they were in that whopper of a diamond ring. “Yoooooo did somebody get their ring?!” asked a fan. That fan continued: “Forget the finals, tell me this is real!” “That’s a big rock for Jenny from the block!” quipped another commenter. “What is that bling @jlo,” another asked. “Are you love birds engaged?” After more than a year and a half of officially dating, it would not be a surprise. Now, some folks very wisely pointed out that this may have been bait or that these hopeful fans may have been jumping the gun. After all, the ring appears to be on J Lo’s right hand — not, traditionally speaking, where one wears a ring. But some very observant followers noticed that, in comparison to other phtoos, she and Alex’s positions seemed to be reversed. In other words, that the video was mirrored. “She’s actually on opposite side,” a commenter writes. “Watch her video, it’s on her left and she’s sitting to the right of him.” If that comment is correct, she’s wearing a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger. A pal of Alex made a very blunt comment. The comment reads: “The sign I see is engagement!” Those words were followed by three diamond emojis. Curiously, Alex chose to respond. “Hi Kimberly!” he wrote back. “Miss you guys!” He followed his words with a thumbs up emoji. Out of everything, Alex’s comment-without-commenting seems like the strongest indicator. Sometimes, celebrities leak their own news in a way that gives them plausible deniability about it. They drop hints and build up hype before they’re ready to make things official. In the mean time, sometimes celebrities play pranks on their fans when those fans are hoping for something. It’s weird, we know. Finally, sometimes people don’t even think about their jewelry or what it might signify. Yes, even public figures. These two didn’t go public until March of 2017, but were believed to be dating before that. It may be that they have now taken the next step and are simply engaged in plain sight. Now Pitchfork is reporting that a newly surfaced tape features the “SAD!” rapper not only talking about beating on his ex-girlfriend, but also stabbing a gang of people in her presence which helped put the fear of God in her. Recorded while in the presence of his friends around the time he was arrested in October of 2016, the tape has X breaking down what led to him assaulting his ex and why she knew he was capable of worse. “I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right? But she fell through on every occasion until now. Until I started f*cking her up bruh. I started f*cking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand.” He later explained why she feared for her life stating, “I’m in the New Times for Stabbing. How many people they put in the news? They said three. It was eight. In Deerfield. She knows that. She seen this sh*t.” Pitchfork was able to get their hands on the disturbing 27-minute tape through the Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office but only made a few minutes of the recording available for public consumption. While everyone is familiar with the charges he caught for putting hands on his ex-girlfriend the stabbing incidents were news to some fans and authorities. On the tape, in addition to the threats against his ex-girlfriend, XXXTentacion also referred to a stabbing incident in Deerfield Beach, Florida, saying, “I’m on[Miami] New Times for stabbing, how many people they put in the news? They said three, it was eight.” (On January 21, 2016, a local Florida newspaper reported that police were “searching for the person who stabbed three people during a fight in Deerfield Beach.” There is no record of anyone being charged with the stabbing, but a Broward County Sheriff’s Office report from the incident states that a witness “saw an unknown black male with tattoos on his face swinging a knife in multiple directions.”) Regardless of XXXTentacion’s very troubled history he has some of the hardest ride or die fans of any artist past or present and though his comments on this tape were disturbing we’re almost certain it won’t change how his millions of followers feel about his legacy. James Karen, a veteran actor with an extensive big screen resume, passed away this week at his home in Florida, according to multuple outlets. He was 94 years old. Karen died with over 200 movies to his credit, but he’s probably best known for his role as the developer Mr. Teague in the modern horror classic Poltergeist. The long-time star also appeared in Return of the Living Dead, Invaders from Mars, China Syndrome, and Wall Street — among MANY other films. One of the best known character actors of all-time, Karen once joked that nobody knew his name, yet everybody knew his face because he “did so much damn work.” Actually, he may not have been joking about that. Mostly known for his work in the movie world, Karen also played a key part on the finale of Little House on the Prairie and he worked with director Oliver Stone on three occasions: 1. As Lynch, the office manager at Jackson Steinem, where Charlie Sheen’s stockbroker character works, in Wall Street. 2. As Secretary of State William Rogers in Nixon. 2. As a Miami Sharks executive in Any Given Sunday. Karen was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Following a stint on Broadway, Karen moved to the land of television when he starred as Dr. Burke on As the World Turns and was the original Lincoln Tyler on All My Children. Along with starring in thousands of commercials, Karen also worked as the TV and radio spokesman (“Why pay more?”) for Pathmark, an East Coast supermarket chain that was liquidated in 2015. On the personal front: Karen was married to the late Susan Reed, the beloved folk singer and zither player, from 1958 until their divorce in 1967. The couple shared a son named Reed, whose godfather is the legendary Buster Keaton, a very close friend of Karen’s throughout his adult life. In the horror genre, other notable movies in which Karen played a part include: Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster, Poltergeist, Invaders from Mars, The Willies, The Unborn, Piranha, Apt Pupil and Mulholland Drive. And other television roles include: Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Dallas, The Golden Girls, L.A. Law, Murphy Brown and The Waltons. In the cult classic The Return of the Living Dead, Karen starred as the manager of a medical warehouse who inadvertently releases a gas that re-animates the dead. He said it was the most fun he ever had in making a movie, saying in 2006 that he had some say in how the character died: “It was the deal where he figures out he’s becoming a zombie and decides to incinerate himself in the crematorium. “He kisses his wedding ring as he goes in. It was a very emotional scene, but it also got me out of being one of the rain-drenched zombies milling around outside the place at the end of the film. “I didn’t really want to do all that muddy stuff.” The Hollywood Reporter first confirmed Karen’s death.
