In honor of the President’s 72nd birthday, Teigen, John, and their two children Luna and Miles each donated $72,000 to the ACLU, a non-profit organization committed to defending the rights of immigrants, criminal justice reform, and holding the Trump administration accountable. In a new interview, the Queens superstar is happily single and says that the lack of romance in her life has allowed her to focus on her upcoming album, Queen . In a wide-ranging cover-story interview with ELLE , the 35-year-old artist dished on a lot of topics and considered herself an exhibitionist while grappling with what that means to her millions of adoring fans. Further, the interview, which flips between traditional Q&A to free-flowing prose, proves that Minaj is still trying to find herself despite the fame and with the weight of being an iconic sex symbol while still fighting for respect in a field that may not see her worth as a lyricist. ELLE writes: Nicki is now in her midthirties, and from the age of 15 until just last fall, she has always had a serious boyfriend. “Six years, twelve years, three, four,” she says. Over time, this came to have consequences she didn’t anticipate. “I remember feeling like I could do anything at one time in my life,” she says, “and somewhere along the line, I just started second guessing myself, for whatever reason.” That all ended when she started learning how to sleep alone. “As soon as I realized that I could actually live and breathe, and eat and sleep, and walk and talk without having a boyfriend, something clicked in me.” “Becoming single,” she goes on, “was one of the things that made me feel strong and powerful. It may be that Kylie Jenner is jealous of Ariana Grande’s engagement and impatient for Travis Scott to put a ring on it, but … that doesn’t mean that all is well for these two. In fact, a very disturbing report claims that Kylie is terrified that Travis is going to cheat on her while touring in Europe. That’s not the disturbing part, though. What’s alarming is that she is allegedly having him tailed by private detectives to watch his every move. It sounds like Kylie Jenner isn’t as peacefully content in her relationship as it appears. “She’s having Travis followed,” a source informs RadarOnline . This alleged private detective is supposed to be keeping tabs on her boyfriend and baby daddy at all times. The insider says that Kylie is taking this extraordinary step “because she’s not 100 percent certain he won’t cheat if given the chance.” Well, Travis is a rapper by trade. Like any performer, his entire career is basically one huge opportunity to cheat. (Not an excuse! Just an opportunity) But when Travis is touring in Europe? He’s likely to be surrounded by temptation at all times. Admittedly, this whole situation reminds us of some sort of noir film. It is all too easy to imagine a black-and-white scene of Kylie Jenner walking into some private eye’s office with a subtle veil descending from the brim of her hat. But the insider claims that this is no joke — that Kylie is genuinely concerned that Travis is going to give in to temptation. “She’s freaking,” the source explains. “Because he’ll be on the road and out of her sight.” Sometimes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. But in light of how Kylie’s sister Khloe was humiliated by Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal , maybe Kylie isn’t willing to be made to look foolish. (Well, she doesn’t want to look more foolish than she does by dating a guy who did this at one of his shows, anyway) The insider explains that Kylie is paying a hefty price (literally) for keeping Travis under surveillance. “It’s really for peace of mind,” the source explains. “But the private eye doesn’t come cheap.” Of course. Private investigators cost money — especially when it potentially involves a lot of travel and following someone who has their own private security. The source explains: “It’s costing her thousands of dollars because she wants him tailed 24/7.” That’s much more expensive than just finding out if someone’s spouse really goes out with coworkers on Wednesdays, or whatever. The source then shares something that’s alarming — more so than Kylie’s suspicions. (Though, to be clear, this entire situation sounds unsettling and unhealthy) “Even when Travis is around,” the insider says. “She can’t resist peeking at his phone and checking to see who’s called him. And,” they add. “Reading his emails.” That intrusive behavior is disturbing and toxic. A lot of girlfriends and boyfriends feel entitled to look through their significant other’s texts and emails. If people want to opt for that level of transparency, that’s fine. But otherwise, it’s a gross invasion of privacy. Of course, you might say that having Travis followed isn’t much better. Honestly? We would love for this report to turn out to be wrong. Perhaps someone misunderstood a joke. (Hey, it happens!) First of all, we hope that Kylie is not a toxic person who invades her boyfriend’s privacy without a second thought. Second of all, we hope that Travis is not an absolute idiot, and that Kylie knows that he isn’t one. Kylie is hot, she’s the mother of his child, and she’s due to be worth about a billion dollars by the time that she’s old enough to rent a car. If they decide to break up at one point, that would be one thing. But cheating? Travis would basically be throwing away a life of absolute, unparalleled luxury — which he will never make as a rapper, no shade — just to get his dick wet. Oh, Farrah. When you got fired from Teen Mom OG for generally being an awful person, we thought your days of entertaining/depressing us with your bonkers bad behavior had come to an end. In retrospect, we should’ve known a day like today was coming. In case you missed it, Farrah was arrested on charges of battery and trespassing last night after allegedly assaulting a male staff member at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel. According to the police report, she was booked at 1:48 AM. As of right now, she’s still being held on $500 bail. We still don’t know what set Farrah off (although we do know that booze was involved), but TMZ has obtained video of Farrah’s arrest , and as you may have guessed — it ain’t pretty. At one point, one of the arresting officers begins searching Farrah’s purse, and the former reality star demonstrates that even in her state of inebriation, she’s well aware of the reality of her situation: “Do you want to do that on camera so that everyone at TMZ can see?” Farrah asks. Further proving that her diva-like attitude remains intact, Farrah tells one of the officers, “I don’t want to be arrested.” She then repeats the phrase “I am not going to be provoked to be arrested” several times. Then things really take a turn for the worse, as Abraham screams, “I am not resisting you!” before breaking down in tears (a classic Farrah tactic) and accusing one of the officers of hurting her. A spokesperson for Farrah issued a statement today in which she thanked fans for their “concern” and urged them to “remember there are two sides to every story.” Meanwhile, police have issued their own statement, in which they state the painfully obvious and confirm that Farrah has hammered at the time of her arrest. “Officers noted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication during the investigation,” stated Lieutenant Elisabeth Albanese with the Beverly Hills Police Department this afternoon. It may be hard to believe, given her many years of batsh-t behavior, but this is only Farrah’s second arrest. The first took place in 2013, when she was hauled in on DUI charges . Back then, she pled guilty and was sentenced to six months probation. This time, Farrah might find herself facing a stiffer penalty. For one thing, she’s no longer a first offender. On top of that, there’s a legal precedent in this case, as it was just last year that Farrah’s fellow reality star Kim Richards was arrested for a drunken assault at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Richards very narrowly avoided jail time, but even if Farrah proves equally lucky, she’s got another problem on her hands: Sources have indicated that Farrah’s 9-year-old daughter Sophia was with her in the hotel on the night of the incident. Sophia is currently in the care of a nanny, but Farrah might soon be facing a custody challenge from her mother, Debra Danielsen: “She needs to be with her family, not about strangers and volatility and her mother being arrested,” Danielsen told Radar when asked about Sophia. “It’s very disgusting. You can say many things about Selena Gomez. You can say you don’t like her music because you’re entitled to that opinion. You can say you she has bad taste in men because Justin Bieber has never treated her well. You can say she makes poor decisions with her hairstyle at times. But you cannot say what Stefano Gabbana just said about the singer, not if you want to avoid very deserved backlash from millions of people on social media. The Italian designer, who co-founded the fashion label label Dolce & Gabbana, went out of his way on Instagram this week to attack Gomez. In the comments of a photo on The Catwalk Italia’s Instagram account, Gabbana wrote the following alongside a collage of Selena picture: È proprio brutta!!! This translates, very simply and extremely rudely, to: She’s so ugly. The insult was many things; unprovoked, cruel, sexist and objectively untrue. And while Gomez has thus far taken the high road, refusing to even acknowledge Gabbana’s existence, her friends and fans online have been unable to show similar restraint. “@stefanobabbana you’re tired and over. your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018,” Tweeted 13 Reasons Why actor Tommy Dorfman, who plays Ryan Shaver in the Netflix drama. He added: “it is no longer tolerable or chic. please take many seats.” And then there was this from a Gomez follower: “Shame on you for online bullying. Doesn’t matter if 1 million people see it or 1 person, it’s bullying. It’s wrong.” And then this from another Gomez follower, who kept it short and simple and supportive: “We love this beautiful queen.” Julia Michaels, a singer-songwriter and close friend of Selena’s tweeted: “@selenagomez just here to tell you that you are one of the most beautiful women I know, inside and out. I love you always.” This really is true. While the merits of what Gabbana said are really beside the point, it might as well be pointed out while we’re here: Selena Gomez is a very pretty young woman. Full stop. This statement really can’t be debated. Over the years, Gabbana has bullied stars on social media numerous times, including Kate Mossand Victoria Beckham. Most recently, he went after Kate Moss on the same Catwalk Italia Instagram page, dissing a Saint Laurent look she was wearing … just because. In 2015, celebrities such as Elton John, Courtney Love and Ricky Martin boycotted the fashion brand over insensitive comments Dolce and Gabbana made about IVF and LGBTQ families. Moreover, the brand released a $245 “#BoycottDolceGabbana” graphic T-shirt inspired by the negative response to First Lady Melania Trump wearing their designs. In other words: it courts controversy like this. So the best thing to do is what Selena has done, which is to totally and completely ignore the misguided and pathetic messenger. Well, no part of this story is okay. Multiple reports say that something heated and nasty went down att he filming of the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Stevie J is accused of assaulting Erica Mena, among other things. Is Stevie J about to get fired? It sounds like Stevie J being a deadbeat dad isn't the worst thing about him. (Actually that's not exactly a surprise; as the youths would say: we been knew ) BET reports that Stevie J went on a nasty tirade at the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Their report said that things “got extremely intense,” which echoes sentiments from multiple other sources about the reunion. Not only did he say vile things about Erica Mena, but he reportedly said some truly despicable things about her 11-year-old son. Things “came to a new level of petty when Stevie allegedly called [Erica]’s son King Conde a ‘f–got’ in response to severe shade Mena threw his way.” Hey, if you're a reality star, you feud with your fellow reality stars. You don't throw anti-gay slurs at an 11-year-old. At least one report says that Erica responded by slapping Stevie J. (We would never want to encourage violence, but we will say that her outrage is understandable) This is reportedly when things went from bad to worse. According to reports, Stevie J responded with a violent assault. Atlanta Black Star reports that “security had to pull the 46-year-old off [Erica].” Horrifying. Stevie J “was then asked to leave the building.” Reports say that he is currently “banned from attending any” events for the series while producers conduct an investigation. He “is reportedly on the brink of getting fired.” In a now-deleted video that we have included with this post, Erica Mena seemed to allude to these events. “Stevie J's a B–CH and he likes to fight girls.” Throughout the video, she seems to be seething with anger, barely contained behind a facade. One can absolutely understand her anger if all of the reports that we have heard are true. She would be furious after his alleged physical assault. She would also be fuming that he said such vile things, particularly about her young son. If Erica did strike him, that would have given Stevie J grounds to complain or press charges — but not to attack her. Sadly, this is not even the first time that Stevie J has expressed anti-gay sentiments against a fellow cast member. Back in Season 5, he objected to Mimi Faust dating a woman. He said at the time that he didn't want his daughter being “raised in a lesbian household.” ( Mimi Faust explained that she's not a lesbian , but honestly, that doesn't begin to cover Stevie J's statement) It seemed at the time that he walked back those sentiments. If he's hurling anti-gay slurs around at children when he gets angry, however, it sounds like the underlying bigotry still lingers. Along with some alleged and worrisome violent impulses. Stevie J has gotten away with bad behavior before. But sometimes, there's a final straw. An alleged physical attack upon a costar following a vitriolic tirade sounds like it might qualify. Besides, recently, the culture is becoming less permissive when it comes to inexcusable behavior by celebrities that directly harms others. (Slowly but surely, anyway) Stevie J may have just cost himself his reality career. But we'll see what the investigation concludes. Right now, we only have reports to go on.
