Meghan Markle is a disrespectful, promiscuous, unethical nobody who is not worthy of a place in The Royal Family. So states a scathing petition making its way around the Internet, at least. Indeed, while most of the free world appears very excited for Markle to marry Prince Harry in May, a London resident Louisa Pawsey does not share this enthusiasm. Not even the tiniest, little bit. The British troll has started an online petition at Change.org that doesn’t say Markle can’t become Harry’s wife – because obviously she can’t do anything to stop true love. But it does plea for the Royal Family NOT to give the actress a title. Based on what characteristics (or lackthereof) she believes Markle possesses? “We the undersigned believe that Meghan Markle is unsuitable to be a member of the Royal Family and to have an official position in representing this country,” reads the ridiculous document. It adds: “She has shown her disrespect for the Monarch and Royal Family by pulling faces and sticking her tongue out to the visitors during her first public appearance with the Queen.” It’s unclear from where Pawsey gets this impression, or this alleged fact. As you can see below, Markle has come across as nothing but classy during her public appearances as Harry’s fiancee. Continues the petition: “Her attitude and actions in Nottingham shows her lack of respect towards Harry. “The fact that members of the Armed forces are resigning due to the fact they had naked pictures of her in their barracks shows how little respect she will command.” It’s true that Markle has posed for a few sexy photos during her time as a model and actress. It certainly isn’t true that any members of the military have resigned over these snapshots. In conclusion, the petition makes the following points and pleas: No member of the Royal Family should have naked images of them freely available on the internet as she does. Her constant sex simulation makes her a laughing stock and an embarrassment to this country. Her previous divorces and cheating on partners does not lend us to believe she will be faithful to Harry. Please prevent her from having an official role or title after her marriage to Harry. Again, this nonsense is based on something from Markle’s career. Her pretended to give another character a blow job many years ago during an episode of 90210 on The CW. That’s the only “sex simulation” we know of and it took place while she was acting on a television show. As of this writing, Louisa’s petition to deny Markle a royal title has gained only 452 signatures. It’s obviously complete hogwash. No one is taking it seriously and we mostly just feel bad for Pawsey that she’s taking the concept of a Royal this seriously. It’s true that Markle has been divorced and it’s true she comes from mixed heritage and it’s true she has posed for a few seductive pictures (see above). But shouldn’t the Royal Family be applauded for adapting its out-of-date policies, guidelines and restrictions in order to evolve and welcome her with open arms? We think so. Rose Marie, a veteran actress and show business legend best known for her role on The Dick Van Dyke Show, died Thursday at her home in California. She was 94 years old. The late star’s publicist has confirmed the sad news. Marie’s extensive career started as a child singing sensation in the 1920s and 1930s. In an interesting note, she was the last surviving entertainer to have charted a hit before World War II. Pretty cool, right? The artist and actress landed her first major TV role in 1960 on the CBS sitcom My Sister Eileen, prior to rising to prominence alongside Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. Marie portrayed Sally Rogers on all five seasons of The Dick Van Dyke Show; she was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1963, 1964 and 1966. “We were a tight-knit, hard-working crew,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2004, adding at the time: “I couldn’t wait to get to the set each day.” Marie appeared on several television shows and films, and was also became active in animal welfare issues as the years went on. Born Rose Marie Mazetta on August 15, 1923, the multi-talented star began acting and singing at age three, performing on stage at New York’s Mecca Theater. She was dubbed “Baby Rose Marie the Child Wonder” and was often heard on the NBC Radio Network. In the 1930s, Marie toured in vaudeville; and in the 1940s, she performed in nightclubs and theaters, even becoming a co-headliner on opening night of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. Later in life, Marie gained new fans as a frequent celebrity on Hollywood Squares. How frequent? Marie appeared on 629 episodes of the game show! She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2001. All in all, Marie’s amazing career spanned nine decades and was chronicled in the documentary “Wait for Your Laugh,” which was released earlier this year. Taylor vs. Katy? Taylor vs. Kim? Taylor vs… everyone? No, 2017 was not a year where only Taylor Swift feuded with her fellow celebrities, it just felt that way. Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift This feud has been going on for years now, but it was elevated to dizzying heights in 2017. “Honestly, it’s really like she started it and it’s time for her to finish it,” said Katy in May during Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. What followed was a colossal change of heart on Katy’s part. In multiple interviews thereafter, Katy was saying that she always loved Taylor. In a hilarious turn of events, Taylor released all of her music on streaming services the same day Katy released her new album. This is the feud that keeps on giving. 2. NeNe Leaks vs. Kim Zolciak It’s crazy to imagine that NeNe and Kim were once scheduled to star in a joint spin-off of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their feud in 2017 reached new levels of crazy when Kim’s daughter, Brielle Biermann claimed there as an insect infestation in NeNe’s home. “@briellebiermann We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta yo funky p—y!, said Leakes via Instagram. “Please know I will get You all the way together when you start f–king wit me and mine!” NeNe proceeded to call Kim racist, but it backfired in stunning fashion when Kim sought legal counsel. 3. Sarah Jessica Parker vs. Kim Cattrall A third Sex and the City movie was allegedly days away from entering production, but multiple reports swirled, claiming that Cattrall’s diva demands for the movie ultimately found it being shelved indefinitely. Cattrall subsequently chatted to Piers Morgan about her feud with Sarah Jessica Parker and she was not supportive of her former friend at all. “And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is, I never have.” We’ll probably be waiting until a reboot of the series kicks off for a response from Parker. 4. Caitlyn Jenner vs. The Kardashians Caitlyn Jenner released a tell-all memoir that was met with an icy response from the Kardashians. Caitlyn confirmed in November that the family no longer spoke to her. Kim was especially mad about the whole thing and opened up about it to Ellen DeGeneres. “I don’t expect her to be honest about my mom now, but it’s just so hurtful. Like, I just wish her all the success in the world, but not at our expense.” 5. Drake Bell vs. Josh Peck Drake Bell lashed out at Josh Peck for not inviting him to his wedding. “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear….” he wrote on social media. In the end, the two men hugged it out at the MTV VMAs and all was right in the world. 6. Taylor Swift vs. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Taylor brought her feud with Kim and Kanye back into the spotlight when she had some choice lyrics seemingly aimed at Kanye on “Look What You Made Me Do.” “I don’t like your little games / Don’t like your tilted stage / The role you made me play / Of the fool, no, I don’t like you.” Kim responded months late by reposting the image that included the nude wax figure of Taylor Swift from Kanye’s “Famous” video. Very sad news today out of Hollywood: Jordan Feldstein, the brother of movie star Jonah Hill and veteran manager of beloved music group Maroon 5, died on Friday of what reports have confirmed to be a heart attack. He was 40 years old. Feldstein worked as a talent manager who had been at the center of Maroon 5’s success ever since the Adam Levine-fronted band debuted 15 years ago. He is survived by two children. “Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath,” said his family via a statement that adds: “When paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter.” Feldstein started his by working for ICM and Bill Leopold Management. He later became the founder and CEO of Career Artist Management, a company whose client list includes: Maroon 5, Adam Levine, Iggy Azalea, Robin Thicke and Elle King. A representative for the Los Angeles Coroner’s office told People Magazine that police are investigating Jordan’s death as a possible accident. This is because the same office is conducting tests to determine if the music executive’s death was related to ingesting some kind of substance or substances. “His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time,” the statement from the family continued. “In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name.” Feldstein, whose sister is an actress, was previously married to Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood. The couple secretly tied the knot at a Las Vegas wedding chapel on November 17, 2013… only for Eastwood to file for an annulment just a week later. Jordan Feldstein was a childhood friend of Adam Levine’s and helped negotiate his deal to serve as a coach on The Voice. Neither Hill nor Levine has yet commented publicly on Feldstein’s passing. If you’ve enjoyed her many bonkers interviews over the years (some of which, to our minds, are every bit as entertaining as her funniest film roles), then you’re likely aware that Jennifer Lawrence loves alcohol and reality television. So it’s not surprising that J-Law might have a bit of a thing for Kourtney Kardashian sperm donor and bold innovator in the use of facial hair to camouflage booze bloat, Scott Disick. On second thought, it is surprising, but only in the sense that we’re shocked Scott is still alive. Anyway, Jen revealed her love for the Lord in a recent interview with Oprah, in which she revealed that Scott would be one of her three ideal dinner guests. (The other two were Luann DeLesseps and Bethenny Frankel, both of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. Jen … we’re concerned.) Given that Jen chose Scott over any of the women in the Kardashian clan, it’s not surprising that certain tabloids already have these two bedding down together. It’s also not surprising that some of these same publications are casting Kourtney in the role of the insane ex: According to the Australian version of OK! magazine (because why wouldn’t news about three American celebs reach Sydney first?), Kourtney is pissed about the possibility of Jen and Scott hooking up. In fact, Kourt has reportedly warned Lawrence to keep her mitts off her boozy baby daddy. The subtly-titled piece “Kourtney Warns J. Law: Stay Away From Scott!” doesn’t offer anything in the way of quotes or evidence, and instead poses an argument along the lines of “makes sense if ya think about it.” The article also doesn’t mention the fact that Kourtney is dating Younes Bendjima . Or that Scott is with Sofia Richie . Or that Jen was clearly joking, and her ideal dinner party would really just consist of Meryl Streep playing three different roles. Look, we believe Jen when she says she genuinely enjoys Keeping Up With the Kardashians (though it’s worth noting that she’s said she watches the show “to fall asleep.” Celebrities–they’re as bored with the Kardashians as the rest of us!). But there’s a difference between enjoying a reality show and wanting to enmesh yourself in that world. It’s been quite a tumultuous year for Ben Affleck. 2017 began with news that Affleck had completed rehab and attained sobriety again after relapsing following more than a decade of sobriety. Sadly, it seems Ben’s battle with the bottle didn’t end there. Radar Online is reporting that Affleck recently checked back into rehab , marking his third stint this year. Insiders say the Oscar-winner was encouraged to seek treatment by his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and his brother, Casey Affleck. “Ben relapsed,” a source tells the site. “Jen and Casey are willing to try anything, and they don’t care if the methods are controversial.” The “controversial methods” remark refers to Ben’s choice of treatment facility. Affleck reportedly checked into Passages Malibu, which eschews the traditional 12-step method in favor of an “unorthodox holistic” approach to addiction. Ben had previously been enrolled in an out-patient program, but according to a source close the actor, he recently decided that he needs a “constant support network” in order to remain sober. Passages encourages patients to remain in treatment for a minimum of 45 days, and since Ben was first spotted at the facility on December 10, it seems he’ll remain at the facility through the holidays. The source was unable to say for certain if Affleck will be able to see his three kids on Christmas, but notes that he is free to come and go from treatment as he sees fit: “Ben isn’t a prisoner and is fully committed to seeing his children and fulfilling his work commitments outside the center,” the insider tells Radar. Rumors that Ben was once again struggling with alcoholism began over the summer when he was spotted drinking with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus , once while traveling in New England, and again during a trip to her hometown of Buffalo, NY. Shortly thereafter, Ben began his outpatient program, but it seems he felt he needed a more comprehensive approach to the problem. Those who know him best say Affleck has been despondent over newly-surfaced reports about his past behavior. Recent accusations of Affleck groping female colleagues and generally behaving inappropriately prior to his marriage have reportedly taken a considerable emotional toll on the 45-year-old.
