Keiynan Lonsdale Comes Out as Bisexual: Read His Moving Statement

Keiynan Lonsdale has an announcement to make. The actor, best known for his role on The Flash as Wally West, shared a lengthy Instagram post over the weekend in which he opened up about his personal life. Specifically, Lonsdale admitted that he’s attracted to both men and women. “I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, and I like guys (yes),” wrote the 25-year old star, who you may also recognize as Uriah from the movie Allegiant. He added on Saturday, May 13: “I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am and I really like who I’m becoming. “Spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different … which is just untrue.” Lonsdale included the following photo with his announcement and went on to explain that a “couple years ago” he was “able to accept” himself. Wrote the star: “It saved my life, but now I’ve gotten to a new road block and I feel kind of lost. I gotta take the next step and actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. “Not faking sh-t anymore, not apologizing for falling in love with people no matter their gender. I’ve become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared.” Good. We admire Lonsdale for fully embracing who he really is. Along with the aforementioned television and film role, the 25-year old has appeared on TV shows All Saints and Dance Academy, along with the movies Insurgent and The Finest Hours. He concluded in his Instagram post that no one should be ashamed about who they are. Quite the opposite, in fact. “More and more I see so many young people being their best / truest selves, it’s f-cking inspiring … so what have I been waiting for!? Who knows. “Everyone in their own time. I hope we can all learn to embrace who we are and not judge people who aren’t exactly the same as us. “The truth is we are all family, we’re all one.” Amen, right? Fortunately, yes, right: a significant number of social media users have come out and offered their support to Keiynan Lonsdale. “U DESERVE ALL THE GOD DAMN LOVE IN THE UNIVERSE,” read one enthusiastic response, while another follower chimed in as follows: “The love is beyond measurable.” View Slideshow: 35 Bisexual Celebrities Click above for a look at other celebrities who have openly embraced their bisexuality and join us in saluting the bravery of Keiynan Lonsdale. Powers Boothe Dies; Veteran Actor Was 68 Years Old

Powers Boothe, a veteran actor of both the big screen and the small screen, died on Sunday in his sleep. He was 68 years old. According to publicist Karen Samfilippo, Boothe passed away inside his Los Angeles home from natural causes. A private service will be held for him this week in his native state of Texas, while his family is contemplating a more public memorial at some point in the future. Beau Bridges, another long-time star in the industry, Tweeted confirmation of the sad news on Sunday afternoon, writing the following message: Boothe was mostly known for portraying fictional villains, from saloon owner Cy Tolliver on HBO’s Deadwood to one of his more recent appearances on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He grew up on a Texas farm and began his acting career on stage, starring in a number of Shakespearean productions, including Henry IV. After becoming the first member of his family to graduate from college, he made his Broadway debut in the 1970s in Lone Star & Pvt. Wars. In 1980, Boothe won an Emmy Award for lead actor in a limited series or special for playing cult leader Jim Jones in CBS’ Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones. He took home that trophy during an actors strike and decided to cross the picket line to accept it, saying at the time: “This may be either the bravest moment of my career or the dumbest.” Boothe also was nominated two ensemble SAG Awards, first in 1996 alongside the cast of Nixon and then again in 2007 with the cast of Deadwood. He’s probably best known to current movie goers for having players Senator Roark in the Sin City franchise. Also in the film universe, he portrayed Alexander Haig in Nixon (1995)… a sheriff in another Oliver Stone movie, U Turn (1997)… and was unforgettable as the evil gunman Curly Bill Brocius in Tombstone (1993). Boothe played Connie Britton’s father on Nashville and the President of the United States on a season of 24. “I loved acting with you #PowersBoothe you were a gentlemen and a great actor,” wrote Lea Thompson in response to Boothe’s passing. His Deadwood co-star, Garret Dillahunt, described the star on Facebook as “a formidable adversary, baseball lover and poser hater,” adding as a tribute: “Give em hell Powers.” In 2009, Boothe was inducted in the Texas Film Hall of Fame, along with actor and singer Billy Bob Thornton. Those who wish to honor the late star can send donations to the Gary Sinise Foundation, which assists the country’s defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need. Chilli from TLC Says All Lives Matter, and Twitter Can’t Deal

Remember when TLC was the ultimate in girl groups , when songs like “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs” were the songs of a generation? According to Twitter, those days are officially over. See, in a new interview, TLC’s Chilli and T-Boz (RIP Left Eye) were asked about the Black Lives Matter movement, and if they felt strongly about it or attended any marches. Chilli answered with “I personally didn’t go into any marches, or anything like that, but for me, all lives matter, you know what I mean?” If you’re not aware, it’s important to note at this point that responding to anything about Black Lives Matter with “all lives matter” is seriously frowned upon by many, many people . “There is a time when different groups are targets for different things,” Chilli said to further explain her stance. “So I just think that, just the whole … you know … what happened with the police brutality against these young black boys and stuff like that, all of that kind of stuff is wrong, even if it was a caucasian teen kid that this was happening to or whatever.” “It’s just not right.” She added that perhaps people in positions with authority should be subject to more thorough background checks, and a “mental stability kind of check” to see if they’re fit for that kind of work. Interestingly enough, the ladies were also asked about Donald Trump, and T-Boz said that she doesn’t care about him. “God is my president,” she said, “so I just feel sorry for the people it affects, but I don’t care about him.” As an American, T-Boz, you’re the people it affects . Girl. Right, so TLC did this bizarre interview, then Twitter found out about it. And it did not go over well. “Please stick to the rivers and the lane that you’re used to,” one person tweeted in an adorable play on the lyrics to “Waterfalls.” Another savagely wrote “The caucasian scenario Chilli made up doesn’t happen, so she’s canceled, & I’m glad Usher cheated on her, music wouldn’t be the same.” “How are TLC, proud pioneers of social consciousness in the 90s, gon’ be so ignorant on the Black Lives Matter movement,” one sad soul wondered. “Beyond disappointed.” A patient Twitter user took the time to explain “Chilli has missed the point. We know all lives matter. The title is supposed to be sarcastically ‘Black Lives Matter TOO.'” As for the late, great Left Eye, one person that she is “rolling in her grave. She would never.” What a mess. Are you as troubled by TLC’s comments as the rest of the internet seems to be? View Slideshow: 18 Celebrities Who Think #BlackLivesMatter

Katherine Berman: Wife of ESPN’s Chris Berman Killed in Accident

Katherine Berman, the wife of legendary ESPN commentator Chris Berman, has been killed in a car accident near the couple’s home in Connecticut. According to police reports, Katherine’s car slammed into another vehicle, killing both drivers. The cause of the crash is still unknown. Witnesses say Berman’s 2003 Lexus struck the back of a Ford Escape, causing her to veer off the road and into a body of water, where her vehicle promptly overturned. The other driver, an 87-year-old man named Edward Bertulis, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died moments later. The crash reportedly took place around 2:15 pm on Tuesday in the town of Woodbury. According to TMS Chris Berman was attending a Giants vs. Mets game at Citi Field at the time. He was informed of the crash by NYPD officers .   Chris and Katherine have been married since 1983 and have two children together. Details are scarce at present, but moments ago, ESPN President John Skipper publicly offered his condolences to the Berman family: “This is a devastating tragedy and difficult to comprehend,” Skipper said in a statement. “Chris is beloved by all his ESPN colleagues and for good reason: he has a huge heart and has given so much to so many over the years. We know how much his family means to him and all we can do at a moment like this is to give him the love and support he will surely need at this hour.” He concluded: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris, Meredith, Doug and the entire family.” For decades, Berman has been one of ESPN’s most beloved personalities. Specializing in football and baseball coverage, Chris Berman’s player nicknames and quirky catchphrases helped set the irreverent tone of the network in its early days and have endured him to millions of sports fans in the years since. Condolences began to pour in from all corners of social media within minutes of the news of Katherine’s untimely death. Our thoughts go out to the Berman family during this incredibly difficult time. KUWTK Teaser: Naked Kourtney! Doused Scott! And More!

SPOILER ALERT: Water will play a key role on Keeping Up with the Kardashians this Sunday. In a new trailer released by E!, we initially go behind the scenes of the time Kourtney Kardashian got naked for her birthday. With loved ones cheering her on in the following promo, Kourtney is full-on nude and emerging out of the water like some sort of sexy mermaid. Minus the tail and everything. Later in the footage, however, water is used in a very different way, as Scott Disick is confronted for bringing a woman with him as a date on this family vacation. “I did something wrong as always,” Disick says as a sarcastic apology on this episode, which picks up where last week's intense installment of Keeping Up with the Kardashians  left off. But these words don't satisfy Khloe Kardashian… … who proceeds to hurl a cup of water all over her quasi brother-in-law. “That actually made me feel better,” Kourtney then says. What else is in store for folks who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or on TV next week? It looks like Kim Kardashian will head to New York to testify against those who robbed her in Paris, as the series continues to milk this storyline for all it can. Also, Kris Jenner and Kim lay into Khloe for some reason, who is really not in the mood to hear it. CHECK OUT THE FULL TRAILER NOW:

Christopher Boykin: Cause of Death Revealed

Last night, the world learned the tragic news that beloved MTV star Christohper Boykin had passed away  at the age of 45. Better known to many fans as “Big Black” from his time on the series Rob & Big, Boykin was one of the network’s biggest stars at one point. At the time of his passing, his exact cause of death was unknown. Now, People magazine is reporting, citing sources close to the situation, that it was a heart attack that claimed Boykin’s life . Once standing at 6’6″ 375 pounds, Chris had reportedly slimmed down to a tremendous degree in recent months. Sadly, despite his increased focus on fitness, doctors were unable to save the beloved media personality’s life. Boykin has been mourned by numerous celebrities on social media as news of his untimely death circulated Tuesday. Most notable among them is his former co-star, Dyrdek. “My heart is broken,” the pro skateboarder and longtime network fixture wrote in a series of posts on Twitter upon hearing the news. “I don’t want write this post. I don’t want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you,” he wrote, clearly filled with emotion. “We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can’t fathom that it would end so suddenly. You will forever be in my heart.” Last year, in an uncharacteristically candid interview, Dyrdek revealed that his friendship with Boykin had been incredibly strained in the past. At one point, he believed it permanently came to an end as a result of the pressures of fame and the pair’s dovetailing career trajectories: “I think he didn’t want to be known for like the sidekick,” he said. “So that created a lot of that tension between me and him.” He added that while their reality series brought them fame and fortune neither had ever dreamed of, it also did irreparable damage. “I think it was more the fundamental struggle of wanting to not be so connected to each other,” Dyrdek added of the friendship’s dynamic. “Ultimately, we had a big blowout creatively over an idea … things were so tense at certain times … it’s funny now that I think about it.” View Slideshow: 25 Reality Stars Who Died Way Too Young Dyrdek added: “But we literally would film some of the funniest things that we have ever done and would be losing it.” “And then walk away and not talk to each other.” The rift between the two talents brought Rob & Big to a premature end, but Dyrdek and Boykin seemed to have somewhat patched things up. in the months prior to Chris’ death, with Dyrdek recently posting a throwback photo of their time together on set. Our thoughts go out to the Boykin family. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam
