Jon Hamm Klarifies Kim Kardashian Komments

Jon Hamm appeared at PaleyFest last night, an annual event in Los Angeles that honors the best in television, and answered questions about Mad Men season five, his favorite episode from season four and… Kim Kardashian?!? Yes, the comments Hamm made to Elle UK earlier in the week – in which he referred to the culture’s obsession with stupidity and specifically called out Kardashian and Paris Hilton – are still making headlines, largely because Kim responded to them via Twitter on Tuesday. “Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless,” the plastic moron wrote . So… take it away again, Jon! “It’s surprising to me that it has become remotely a story. I don’t know Ms. Kardashian, I know her public persona,” Hamm told E! News. “What I said was meant to be more on pervasiveness of something in our culture, not personal, but she took offense to it and that is her right.” Have you taken a side in this mini feud yet? Do so now:

What Should Snooki Name Her Baby?

Snooki is pregnant and engaged. Maybe you heard. The Jersey Shore star is still in the early stages of her pregnancy, and has yet to confirm officially that she is with child (or engaged) but it’s out of the bag. She already has a list of names in mind for her baby, too. If the Snooki spawn is a boy, she is said to favor Jionni Jr., after her fiance. For a girl, she recently said she loves the names Isabella or … Giana. Polizzi said she would also consider Tony and Frankie as boy names, but a mini Jionni LaValle might end up going by the same name as his daddy. Aww. But Snooki may one day have a chance to use all of those. “Family is a big thing for me and I can’t wait to start a family,” she told People this winter. “I definitely want a big family – like four or five kids poppin’ out!” Whoa, slow down now … the thought of one baby Snooki is scary enough. Let’s just start with one. What do you think of her names … and possible others? Vote below: What should Snooki name her kid?

Guy Whines About Roommates Stealing Food, Misses Real Culprit

This viral video can’t be staged … and yet it can’t not be. How else can you explain the fact that this downtrodden-sounding, scraggly apartment dweller just happened to turn on his webcam to lament that his roommates have been (allegedly) stealing his food, only to unknowingly capture the real culprit in the act? Also, why videotape this at all? Who are you talking to? Questions for another day. Regardless, this is a classic: Guy Complains About Roommates’ Food Theft

Tabloid Alleges Affair Between Whitney Houston and Jermaine Jackson

The National Enquirer is not the only tabloid that won’t let Whitney Houston rest in peace . According to The London Sun , the late singer carried on an affair with Jermaine Jackson – while the latter was married – in the early 1980s. The newspaper, which does not cite a single source, even claims Whitney’s hit single “Saving All My Love for You” was based on her secret romance with MJ’s brother. A few stolen moments is all that we share/You’ve got your family and they need you there. Though I’ve tried to resist being last on your list/But no other man’s gonna do/So I’m saving all my love for you , Houston croons on that track. The tabloid goes on to say that Michael Jackson was aware of the relationship and did not approve. It also says Jermaine was so broken up over Houston’s death that he could not attend her funeral. Late last month, Jermaine offered a few words of wisdom to Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina. [Photos: WENN.com]

Katy Perry: "Part of Me" Not a Slap at Russell Brand

Despite some lyrics that make clear reference to a relationship falling apart and love gone wrong, Katy Perry insists “Part of Me” isn’t about Russell Brand. “I wrote it two years ago, which is funny because everybody is like ‘God, it sounds so current,'” the pop star, 27, told MTV News about her latest single. The song is full of jabs – “You can keep the diamond ring/It don’t mean nothing anyway” etc. – leading many to conclude that it was a dig at Russell . Not the case, says Perry, whose split with Brand remains amicable. Katy and Russell wed in October 2010 and split in December 2011 . “Some people that I work with were like, ‘Just say you wrote it a couple of weeks ago,'” she says. “I’m like, ‘I’m not a d—, I’m going to tell the truth.'” “I wrote it two years ago when I was writing and recording Teenage Dream , [but] it didn’t feel right on the record. It’s not about [Russell Brand].” Still, Perry admits that the timing is eerie in a sense. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘Am I living in The Truman Show?’ It just feels like sometimes I’m caught in this movie where my life is paralleling my music!” “It seems very serendipitous, but, as un-fun as it sounds, I prepare everything. I’m overly prepared and kind of a control freak in the best of ways.” [Photo: WENN.com]

Emilio Masella: Rooting For Snooki Miscarriage!

Count Snooki’s ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella among the millions upon millions who worry that the world is by no means ready for a mini-Snooki spawn. Still, who the heck says this: “I hope for her sake … not to be rude or anything … but I hope she has a miscarriage.” Well then, tell us how you really feel there, Emilio. Emilio says hearing that Jionni LaValle got Snooki pregnant is scary: “When I was with her, she said she wanted twins. She would always say ‘Let’s have twins.'” “I would def recommend her to get a paternity test to see who the father is because I’m sure there are other subjects … Vinny could easily be the father.” Hey, Emilio said it , not us. As for whether Snooki, who is not only pregnant, but engaged to Jionni LaValle , will marry her man? Yes, Emilio says, but Snook will “pull a Kim Kardashian.” Someone’s going to be getting a cease and desist letter REAL quick. Speaking of which, lawyers for Snook (real name Nicole Polizzi) apparently sent a legal threat to Emilio, ordering him not to bash her. Clearly that worked. A month before he made this miscarriage comment, he told another media outlet he could be Snooki’s baby daddy too … implying he recently nailed her. The comment didn’t sit so well with her attorneys, who responded with a cease and desist letter, threatening to sue if he continued to blab about Snook. Her lawyers were pretty clear: “Demand is hereby made that you cease and desist making public statements regarding Ms. Polizzi that could in any way be taken to be offensive by her.” A month later … Emilio hopes she miscarries. Pretty offensive, no?
