Musical power couple Katy Perry and John Mayer first broke up last August, but the breakup didn’t take, and they got right back together again a month later. Psh, quitters. But after months of enduring a failed breakup, they decided to give splitting one more try. Who knows if this time they’ll get it right. Mayer, for his part, is a notoriously excellent breakup artist. He’s had some high-profile splits with the likes of Jennifer Aniston , Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Jenelle Evans got out of rehab last Friday. That’s the good news. The bad? Drama involving her ex(es) is once again off the hook. Upon leaving rehab, the Teen Mom 2 star got her phone back and immediately jumped on Twitter … to find out from Gary Head that she was single again. Suffice it to say, the newly-sober Jenelle Evans was pissssssssed . Also needless to say, this played out in a public, online forum. She proceeded to kick Gary Head – her one-time fiance and recently-rekindled boyfriend – out of apartment that she was paying for, and claimed their dog. Not someone you want on your bad side, Jenelle. Head, apparently, is back with his ex. Good times. The only bright spot for Gary is that she also used Twitter to publicly air grievances with her estranged and short-lived husband Courtland Rogers . In an odd exchange, the often combative duo admitted that they still loved each other, but they also made serious mistakes in their relationship. They are not back together … yet. Give it a day? A day after news broke of Michelle Williams and Jason Segel calling it quits, another Hollywood romance has come to an end. Insiders confirms to Us Weekly that Rachel McAdams has split from Michael Sheen, the actor 10 years her senior who McAdams has been dating since October. No reason was cited for the break up. McAdams, who previously dated Ryan Gosling for many years, met Sheen on the set of a Woody Allen movie, Midnight in Paris . She tole Stella magazine a year ago that the pair started out as “good friends” and romance blossomed from there. Sheen, meanwhile, dated Kate Beckinsale from 1995 until 2003 and shares a 14-year old daughter with that gorgeous star.
Lindsay Lohan’s hit-and-run accuser says she reeked of booze when she love tapped him with her car and was popped for a hit-and-run earlier this morning. The star is telling friends she had no idea she hit anybody and wasn’t drunk in the least, and had no idea anything was going on until the cops arrested her. Pretty much par for the course when you’re dealing with her. The short story: A minor traffic incident in NYC ended with Lindsay Lohan arrested and charged with a hit-and-run on a pedestrian shortly after midnight. Alleged victim Jose Rodriguez, a chef in NYC, spoke with the NY Daily News following the crash, saying LiLo was slurring words and “smelled like alcohol real bad.” Police say they don’t believe LiLo was drunk at the time of the arrest outside the Dream Hotel, however they acknowledge that LL did not take a breathalyzer test. Rodriguez said he’d just left work at Bottega restaurant when all of the sudden “[I] saw this car come real quick and hit me. … I was in so much pain, I fell to the side.” He claims he was taken to Bellevue Hospital and treated for torn tendons, with doctors giving him morphine to deal with the pain. Anyone out there buying this? Lindsay’s not, and hotel surveillance video may back her up. The footage shows the entire incident, starting with Linds driving into the hotel, down a ramp, and alleged victim walking in the pedestrian path she had to cross. Her car was traveling at a very slow speed and it’s unclear if she even made contact with him, though one police detective felt Lindsay’s car “grazed” his leg. Once Lindsay cleared the area and proceeded down a ramp, the video shows the alleged victim sprinting after her … supporting his claim that Lohan tagged him. At the same time, this doesn’t bolster his own account that he hit the deck and suffered torn tendons. It does not appear he confronted the star at the hotel. When Lindsay got out of the car, she didn’t seem flustered at all. In addition, sources say she was at a Slash concert prior to this, and was not drinking there. Lohan was backstage watching Slash and there was no booze served, since the rocker doesn’t drink. She left there at 11:30 and (allegedly) hit the guy at 12:12. That gives Lindsay 42 minutes to leave the show and go a mile and a half in NYC traffic … not exactly time for her to go out, get sloshed, then get in the car. Basically, it’s unclear if Lindsay hit the guy or what consequences she might face if she did, but it looks like he’s lying or at least exaggerating what went down. Why she can’t just get a driver is an open question, though. Some people should just not be behind the wheel of a car. How many times can this happen?!?
Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada’s marriage is over, officially. Already. They signed divorce papers and that was that. The married in a lavish ceremony July 4. This year. A Florida judge signed the couple’s papers early this morning. Per Ocho’s attorney Adam Swickle, the hearing was “very quick” and “procedural.” It only lasted “3-5 minutes” and neither Chad nor Evelyn Lozada were present. While she filed for divorce in August after Johnson was arrested for allegedly assaulting her, it took the NFL star a month to give in and file for divorce himself . Their nuptials were chronicled in the VH1 reality show Ev and Ocho , which was axed before it even aired in the aftermath of Johnson’s domestic violence arrest . Lozado began divorce proceedings just two days after the incident, to which he’s pleaded not guilty. Johnson, contrarily, got a big tattoo of Ev’s face. Her face . Neither has commented on the divorce, but Chad’s back doing what he does best – posting pics of himself on Twitter – and Lozada took to the social network as well. “Oh what a GREAT morning!!!” she wrote. Sums it up right there.
Greater L.A. residents can now sit in traffic drive with reduced fear. Amanda Bynes’ license has been suspended by the California DMV, according to the L.A. Times, following the misdemeanor hit-and-run charges filed against her this week. DMV officials won’t specify the exact reason or when Amanda’s suspension occurred. Regardless, insurance companies and pedestrians everywhere can exhale. Bynes was charged in two hit-and-run accidents – occurring April 10 and August 4 – when the troubled star allegedly crashed into another car and peaced out. In the case of the former, Bynes was charged with DUI . She’s been involved at least two other unrelated traffic incidents in the past six months as well. Maybe now the 26-year-old will rely on friends, cabs or car services … a novel idea she and Lindsay Lohan should have considered years and years ago. [Photo: WENN.com]
Proving that no celebrity marriage is safe, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have announced their separation after nine years of marriage. A rep for the couple says the split is “amicable,” though few other details are available at this time. Arnett and Poehler were married in August of 2003 and are the parents of sons Archie, 3 and Abel, 2. Arnett guest-starred on Poehler’s Parks and Recreation in 2010, while other shared on-screen credits for the pair included Arrested Development , Blades of Glory , Horton Hears a Who! , On Broadway , Spring Breakdown and Monsters vs. Aliens . This marriage was the first for Poehler. Arnett was previously married to Penelope Ann Miller. We wish each side the very best in this difficult time.
Jay-Z, Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter are vacationing on a yacht on the Mediterranean Sea this week, celebrating Bey’s 31st birthday (or just being really rich). Candid Blue Ivy pictures are not exactly a dime a dozen – the couple is quite private, unlike say anyone with the last name Kardashian – so this is a rarity. The little girl has no idea how good she has it, jet-setting in the South of France before age one. On the flip side, Jay and Bey seem like grounded parents. Not spewing some nonsense about how she’s new and improved and only interested in staying in, the reality star talked straight business, the one area we must admit her family knows a lot about. “I’m trying to use social media to figure out what my fans like and make a brand for my fans,” Kardashian said, admitting she uses Twitter and Facebook solely to bring home the bucks and talking about her 10 percent stake in new cosmetic line BoldFace. Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham and John Parra, a board operator for the On-Air with Ryan Seacrest radio show and her boyfriend of two months, have split. Unwillingness to go to first base may have been a deal-breaker. “What went wrong was that he was upset I wouldn’t kiss him and make more time for him and move to LA,” Farrah tells In Touch , confirming the breakup . “He texted me saying he didn’t want to talk any more.” Farrah, who adds that John only met her daughter Sophia, 3, once, never replied back to John’s cold text because she felt that he was moving too quickly. “I have my values in line and I stick to them,” she says. “I’m happy I chose not to touch him or get serious with a guy who seems controlling and clingy.” “I’m happy I shield Sophia from any guy drama that is caused by whomever I’m dating at the time … I’ll date again.
