Giuliana Rancic: Surrogate Miscarries Last Remaining Embryo

Giuliana Rancic’s infertility struggles have been long documented in the media.  In another devastating blow, Rancic’s last remaining viable embryo was lost when her surrogate had a miscarriage. In an interview with People Magazine , Rancic reveals that she and her husband, Bill, found out about the latest miscarriage on New Years Eve: “It was painful. Were were so optimistic with this last embryo,” Rancic explains .  “We thought, ‘This is definitely going to work. This is our last shot.”  Giuliana and Bill welcomed their son, Duke, in 2012 via surrogacy. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011, Rancic decided to freeze four of her embryos.  After their son was born, they had two of the three remaining embryos implanted, but they were lost as well in a miscarriage only a few weeks later. Getting pregnant herself would be inherently risky for the 40-year-old E! News host, she says, due to her cancer-suppressing medication. However, Giuliana and Bill are open to alternatives, including adoption: “We’re open to everything. I think adoption is a beautiful gift you’re giving each other.” “And it’s funny, I’m even more open to [adoption] than I was before. Because I think to myself, ‘I love Duke so much, if I couldn’t take care of him, I hope there would be someone else who would love him.'” The rampant media and online criticism of Giuliana Rancic’s weight also warrants a mention, and she attributes that to her medication, saying, “It’s really hurtful.” “I’m sorry that some people think I’m ‘disgustingly skinny,’ as they put it, but there’s nothing I can do. Jeremy Renner-Sonni Pacheco Custody Drama: Resolved?

It looks like Jeremy Renner can finally breathe a sigh of relief as he has FINALLY reached a settlement with his estranged wife, Sonni Pacheco. The settlement includes custody and child support for their 2-year-old daughter, Ava. Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco have had a rollercoaster romance after they secretly got married in September of last year, then broke up shortly afterward. After the split, Renner alleged that Pacheco threatened to leak racy videos if he didn’t follow through with getting her a green card and give her financial stability. It was also revealed after the split that Sonni had done a whole host of reckless things, and stopped breastfeeding because she felt guilty about drinking alcohol. Now it appears the two parties have resolved their differences, however. According to TMZ, Sonni will NOT get spousal support since the marriage only just 10 months. We bet Jeremy’s happy that he had a prenup drawn up, right? The custody will be split 50/50 which is a far cry from what Sonni was seeking – Ava all to herself. Sonni will also receive a sum of $13,000 a month for child support. Jeremy’s lawyer, Laura Wasser seems to think it’s all over, but Sonni’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, seems to think otherwise. Heather Hironimus, Florida Mom, Refuses Court-Ordered Circumcision of Son, Goes on the Run

Florida mom Heather Hironimus is currently a fugitive from justice after she refused to submit to a judge’s order that her four-year-old son be circumcised. Last week, a Palm Beach County judge reportedly ordered Hironimus to hand over the boy for the increasingly controversial procedure. She declined. A warrant has been issued for her arrest, and her whereabouts are unknown. The woman’s attorneys say she and her son have checked into a domestic violence crisis shelter because the youngster is “terrified” of the circumcision. “The child is scared to death of the procedure and doesn’t want it,” attorney Thomas Hunker said, according to South Florida’s Sun-Sentinel newspaper. Hunker said “there have been no safeguards put in place to protect the child’s psychological and emotional condition with regards to this surgery.” The obvious question on everybody’s mind: How did it reach the point where the minor, whose name is Chase, was thrust into the national spotlight? Hironimus and the boy’s father, Dennis Nebus, squared off in court over the issue last month, according to media reports, and the judge took his side. While Hironimus and Nebus once agreed to have Chase circumcised, Heather changed her mind and has been battling his estranged father over it. Supporters of Heather’s contend that circumcision is a barbaric practice that Chase shouldn’t have to endure (or at least that he should get to decide). One group founded on behalf of her plight, called Chase’s Guardians, helped raise more than $35,000 online to pay for Hironimus’ attorneys’ fees. “We feel like this is our son,” Amber Baxley, founder of Chase’s Guardians, said. “We’re fighting tooth-and-nail against this abhorrent, disgusting decision.” Circumcision has become a polarizing and hotly-debated issue in recent years, and this is not the first case involving it to make national headlines. Most of the children involved were anonymous, however. Hironimus and her backers have (they claim out of necessity) made Chase a cause celebre. The mom’s lawyers have requested that a mental evaluation be done on Chase to see if he’s mentally and emotionally capable of enduring a circumcision. Just how common is the medical practice? It depends who you ask, but it’s clearly favored more by select people and in select places than others. Only about a third of all men across the world are circumcised, according to World Health Organization research, most often for non-medical reasons. Whether you agree with having it done or not, it seems pretty crazy that the boy and his mother could be ordered to do so by a judge, doesn’t it? Ed Sheeran and Athina Andrelos are over. The couple called things off after a year of dating, the 24-year-old British singer-songwriter has confirmed. Sheeran told an Australian radio station that he is newly single, following speculation he and Athina had split up after the 2015 BRIT Awards last month. “I wasn’t single, I was in a relationship for a long time,” Ed said, but he is on the market now, having parted ways with the 23-year-old Athina recently. What happened? An argument at a BRIT Awards after-party last month was said to be the catalyst, or the final straw. A source told Heat magazine: ” “The final straw was at the after-party. It was a combination of Ed drinking too much and him being unable to deal with a girl that kept bothering them that night.” “The next day, when Athina drove Ed to the airport, they spoke about everything and decided to take a break because it was unfair on both of them. “It wasn’t to do with his fame,” says the alleged insider, “it’s just how he would deal with other people – girls – wanting to talk to him on nights out.” Asked about Athina, who works as a Food Team production assistant at The Jamie Oliver Group, Ed seemed caught off guard, but confirmed the split. Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper and model Suki Waterhouse have recently called it quits after two years of dating, according to reports. Waterhouse, 22, attended the Oscars just last month with Cooper, 40, who was nominated for American Sniper . (Bradley’s mother was also there.) The lovebirds were first linked in March 2013 and made their public debut as a couple when she attended the premiere of American Hustle in December 2013. No word on why Cooper and Waterhouse split , and don’t expect it anytime soon. Suki has spoken about how they have always tried to stay very private. “I don’t talk about my boyfriend because it’s boring,” she said. “I think whatever I say will sound weird. But the truth is, if I start talking about him, I won’t be able to stop.” “And I don’t really want to talk about him, you know?” The product of the UK is making her own mark in the acting world, appearing in Insurgent , the second movie in the Divergent franchise, in theaters Friday. Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo: It’s Over!

A red flag has been thrown on the relationship between Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo. The 29-year old model and the 29-year old soccer stud (who just won the title of World Player of the Year) have ended their relationship after five years. It’s unclear why the twosome have split, but a rep for Shayk has issued a statement that serves to quell negative press against his client. Shayk “has been close with his family throughout the course of their relationship,” he says, adding that “any negative rumors with regards to Irina and the Ronaldo family are completely false and have not been a factor in the cause of the spilt.” We wish both Irina and Cristiano the best of luck going forward; and we also wish all the single men and women out there who now think that have a chance with Shayk and Ronaldo the best of luck. Mama June Shannon has kicked Sugar Bear to the curb once more, this time after buying a new house and claiming he’s still dabbling in online romances. The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo couple famously separated earlier this year, which she blamed on his online horniness and he blamed on … well, you know. June rekindled her romance with former flame Mark McDaniel after the child molester got out of prison … for abusing June’s oldest daughter Anna Shannon. Mama June has sworn to Anna that Mark is out of the picture for good now, but it looks like she hasn’t patched things up with Suge nearly as easily. In fact, Shannon told TMZ she recently bought a new crib, and told him he won’t be joining her there after learning he’s still engaging in online romances. Sugar Bear, for his part, says it’s all harmless, that he never cheated on June and he just does the online “dating” thing for the thrill of the experience.
