A community outside San Francisco is in mourning this week after 15-year old Austin Price was struck by a train and killed on Thursday evening. The incident took place around 6 p.m. and was the result of a game of chicken, authorities confirm. Police say Price and two other teens were playing on the tracks near San Lorenzo High School when the former failed to get out of the way of a northbound Capitol Corridor train. At a school in mourning, Principal Tovi Scruggs acknowledged that students often play near the tracks, while signs were hung in hallways that said “Austin, we’ll miss you.” Several moments of silence were held for the sophomore, with Scruggs echoing the sentiments of other teenagers who said they will no longer take things for granted. “Life is precious,” Scruggs said.

In an interview with The Huffington Post this week, Jada Pinkett Smith implied that it would be impossible for one side of her relationship to cheat on the other… because they have an open marriage! Sort of! “I think that people get that idea because Will and I are very relaxed with one another,” the actress said of the open marriage rumor. “But I’ve always told Will: You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay.” Jada, of course, was the one accused of cheating with Marc Anthony not long after the latter singer split from Jennifer Lopez. But Smith made it sound like her marriage is strong, referring to Will as her “best friend” and emphasizing the freedom each allows the other to enjoy: “At the end of the day, Will is his own man. I’m here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that’s not for me to do for him. Or vice versa.” Jada Pinkett Smith also made her voice heard a couple weeks ago, sticking up for Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift in the face of those young stars facing a lot of criticism.

The superstars were mobbed by dozens of fans at La Guarida, a popular restaurant, on Wednesday. Police had to be called to keep the crowds at bay. Waitress Silvia Fernandez said they dined with their moms and another man she couldn’t identify. She called Beyonce “beautiful, without a drop of makeup.” It’s true, Beyonce without makeup is a beautiful thing. So are Beyonce bikini photos , for obvious reasons. Anyway … where were we? Ah yes, Cuba. On Thursday, they toured colonial Old Havana and popped into another restaurant that boasts a rooftop terrace with a sweeping view of the harbor. Avi Snow is breaking his silence on girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. “She’s really awesome, and she’s a lot of fun,” the City of the Sun guitarist tells E! News in his first comments since the duo were linked as a couple. “I would definitely call her one of our biggest supporters .” Asked if he is indeed dating Lindsay Lohan , he didn’t say. Avi Snow didn’t deny it though, it’s worth noting. The band, who played last week at 41 Ocean in Santa Monica, Calif., took the stage just after midnight. LiLo was there singing, dancing and having a blast. Last week, sources began to speculate that the 26-year-old actress was seeing Snow, revealing that the duo have actually been together for a few weeks . The musician was reportedly on the private jet that flew LiLo from New York to Los Angeles in order to cut a plea deal for lying to cops and reckless driving. Ever since their simultaneous Facebook posts and photos confirmed what we suspected – Lindsey Vonn dating Tiger Woods – many have wondered: Why would the Olympic skiing gold medalist go for a man whose epic, marriage-ending sex scandal made him the poster child for whom not to date? Apparently, the answer is not all that complicated. “Tiger makes Lindsey happy,” says one of her friends. “She isn’t concerned what others think. She trusts her instincts. She’s comfortable with the relationship.” “They have sat down and talked it out more than once. He has explained his side and owned up to what he did wrong. He has been very honest with her.” “She’s not freaked out by his past.” A source close to Woods, 37, says the golfer has been open with Vonn, 28 about his past, which she once joked about during the scandal’s peak. Rumors of a relationship heated up early last month, when Woods sent his private jet to fly Vonn home to Vail, Colo., after a crash on the slopes.
