Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz presented a couple Academy Awards last night, laughing and joking and seeming like good friends. But the time for funny banter is over. These two beauties are enemies for the next few moments. We’ve pitted the actresses against each other in a Fashion Face-Off, with Diaz the clear underdog, considering you can pretty much see J. Lo’s nipples in her custom Zuhair Murad gown. Then again, that might be a turn off for some. Compare, contrast and decide for yourself now. Who wore her dress better?

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: The Dictator vs. Brad Pitt

In this edition of THG’s Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off series, The Dictator , played by Sacha Baron Cohen, takes on Brad Pitt. Didn’t see that one coming, we know. Pitt was nominated for his lead role in Moneyball . Cohen was invited to the show because of his role in Hugo , but his red carpet trip was infamously cut short. That’s because he showed up in character as Admiral General Aladeed, his character from The Dictator , and dumped Kim Jong-Il’s ashes on Ryan Seacrest . Before getting escorted away by security, Aladeed did look quite dashing posing for the cameras with a couple of hot “officials” from the Republic of Wadiya. Dashing enough to overtake Pitt? Okay, we’re cheating a bit here. Neither Miley Cyrus nor Kim Kardashian attended the 84th annual Academy Awards. But both occasional actresses did play some role in the evening, at least, joining many other celebrities in Hollywood to watch the event at Elton John’s yearly viewing party. Both Miley and Kim also posed on the red carpet at the shindig, making a Fashion Face-Off between the two an inevitability. Which look do you prefer? Kim Kardashian: All Natural in Allure?

The natural position of Kim Kardashian is standing up tall, chest out, on the red carpet of Las Vegas. So we suppose the reality star has a point when she blogs that she appears on this month’s cover of Allure with a “very low-key, natural look!” See what she means here: Kardashian is supposedly mascara free for the shot, as makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi tells the magazine that “Kim is a natural beauty. So we wanted to show her as naturally as possible, like she had just come back from the beach.” Ummm… by definition, doesn’t that mean they made her up? We somehow doubt this is the way Kim looks when she wakes up in the morning, but we’ll have to get our hands on Ray J’s video to be certain. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS KIM’S BEST LOOK?

Kate Middleton Makes First Solo Public Appearance

Prince William who? Kate Middleton, the lovely 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge, made her first solo public appearance since marrying into the royal family earlier this week. Attending a preview of Lucian Freud paintings at the National Portrait Gallery in London, Kate donned an affordable gray Jesire dress and four-inch heels. Take a look at the Kate Middleton pictures below! Middleton spoke with photographer Mary McCartney and Freud’s daughter, Bella Freud, inside the museum, smiling as always. The National Portrait Gallery is one of the five charities Middleton – an art history major at St. Andrews University – supports as part of her royal post.
