Jaden Smith’s last film (2013’s After Earth) was one of the great flops of the 21st Century and his debut album (the obnoxiously titled, This is The Album) wasn’t even a blip on the music industry’s radar, but the 17-year-old son of Will and Jada remains in the public consciousness thanks to a never-ending social media-fueled assault of contrived weirdness. It’s for that reason that as much as we’d like to give him credit for using fashion to express his views on the obsolete nature of gender roles, we can’t help but see his new habit of wearing dresses in public as anything other than the latest in a long line of pretentious stunts. The Internet is currently losing it’s mind over Jaden’s choice of attire, and we imagine that’s exactly what he wanted. Bizarrely, this is not the first time Jaden’s clothes have had the gossip blogs buzzing in 2015. Back in February, Will Smith claimed that Jaden owns only one pair of shoes and five shirts , and social media exploded with photographic proof that the Fresh Prince is full of sh-t. In a recent interview with Billboard, Jaden described his approach to fashion thusly: “Einstein didn’t really like to change clothes because he had too much other stuff to worry about and I’m the same,” he said. “All black is pretty much my go-to look. Earlier today, the Internet went nuts over photos of Kim Kardashian’s blonde hair …and not in a good way. The reaction was mostly negative, and it must have been hard for Kim to take. You can trash her husband, her “career,” or the way she raises her child, but do not make fun of Kim’s hair! So Kim did what any media-whore who lives and dies by the public’s perception of her would do – she changed up her look and called on a couple of old friends to help her out: Yes, by “friends” we mean her boobs. Kim’s cleavage is legendary and were sure it’s gotten her out of plenty of tight spots in the past. We’re guessing that when she saw the negative reaction to her Lannister locks online, Kim decided to change things up a bit, and just to be safe she decided to distract attention from her head by making her massive rack the focal point of her outfit. See-through dresses are all well and good, but when you’ve been showing off every inch of yourself for the past decade, putting your goods on display through a layer of flesh-colored mesh isn’t exactly headline-grabbing stuff anymore. During a recent episode of E!’s Fashion Police, Giuliana Rancic remarked on Zendaya’s hair with a joke that’s been criticized as disrespectful, offensive, and even racist. While discussing Zendaya’s famous dreadlocks, Rancic speculated that the 18-year-old “smells like patchouli oil…or maybe weed.” Yesterday, Rancic apologized on camera after Zendaya and an army of her fans took to Twitter to complain about the comment. The public admission of guilt may have come too late, however, as it’s being reported that many at the network believe Rancic should be fired, including her Fashion Police co-stars. “The entire cast of Fashion Police is done with Giuliana, and they are hoping that she will not only be kicked off the show, but also off of the network,” one E! insider tells Radar Online. “The network does not condone racism in any way, shape or form, and they know that their reputation is now at stake. “The staff of E! is comprised of many different races, and everyone is pissed off. Giuliana cannot take her words back, regardless of what she tweets, or how many times she says she’s sorry.” Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne has tweeted that she’s “questioning staying on the show” and is giving everyone involved 24 hours to “make it right”…though it’s unclear what that means in this situation.
