Neither Kristen Stewart nor Jessica Biel are known for smiling. They never seem excited to be photographed. This attitude persisted for both beauties last night, as they joined a slew of celebrities at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, which was held in honor of a future exhibit called “American Women: Fashioning a National Identity.” Stewart’s identity, whether she likes it or not, is often based on her relationship with Robert Pattinson , although that Twilight Saga hunk didn’t accompany his girlfriend to the event. Hollywood descended on New York City last night, as celebrities from every industry attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Annual Costume Institute Gala. It celebrated the institution’s upcoming exhibit, “American Women: Fashioning a National Identity.” Two of the young stars on display were Emma Watson and Taylor Swift , a pair of THG favorites.
