Polina Polonsky: Lamar Odom Totally Made Crack Pipes at My Place

Lamar Odom’s mistress “roommate” Polina Polonsky says the athlete definitely fashioned crack pipes at her place during the six weeks they lived together. Recent photos of Odom purchasing Chore Boy scrubbing pads led us to believe he wasn’t cleaning pots and pans, but making homemade crack pipes . Now Polina Polonsky has basically confirmed as much. Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian and Polina Polonsky Polina, as people who have followed Lamar’s saga know, hooked up with Odom in June and July after meeting him at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. He essentially moved into her apartment for six weeks after that, right around when reports of his estrangement from wife Khloe Kardashian began surfacing. During that time, Polina says he was doing crack. Chore Boy scrubbing pads were always laying around the apartment when the NBA star was there, she says, and not for the products’ designed use. She said she saw him multiple times using the pads to fashion homemade crack pipes, and that the place was “littered” with copper pad scraps. Chore Boy boxes were a regular presence, too. Polonsky, an attorney, says Odom’s crack problem has gotten worse since Khloe confronted her and he peaced out, but he was on drugs then for sure. Not a good sign for Lamar, whose whereabouts are currently unknown and who refuses to accept help for his obvious issue from Khloe or anyone else.

Lamar Odom Update: Out of Rehab, Binging on Crack

We have an update on the confusing Lamar Odom situation. With outlets offering conflicting coverage on the reality star’s status – Is he in rehab or not – we can now confirm that both sides were right at various points this week. Yes, Odom checked into a treatment facility on Wednesday morning. But he then checked out Thursday afternoon, according to a pair of People sources. Lamar Odom: NOT in Rehab? The 33-year-old has since been seen in Los Angeles. It’s unclear what Lamar’s intentions now are, but TMZ has posted a story in which it details a summer of major drug use for the troubled NBA star. According to unnamed insiders, Odom holed up at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel in late May after being kicked out of his house by Khloe Kardashian . He then treated then hotel like a “flop house,” the site says, partying there with multiple users at a time and spending as much as $800 per day on his habit. This insider also confirms that crack was among Odom’s drugs of choice. Khloe supposedly knew about Lamar’s drug issues for two years, keeping them secret until this spring when she simply could not do it any longer. She told her husband to seek help or she would end their marriage. Now that he’s seemingly ignored that advice, what will become of the couple known as Khlomar? Heck, more importantly, what will become of Lamar Odom?

‘The Hills’ Stars Plan Their Post-Show Careers

Some plan to stay on TV, while others have behind-the-scenes projects in the works. By Jocelyn Vena Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge Photo: MTV On “The Hills,” fans were given glimpses into the work lives of the cast. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port both worked at Teen Vogue and People’s Revolution, where they were joined (for a short time) by Stephanie Pratt. Lo Bosworth works at Smashbox. Audrina Patridge let us all in on what it’s like to work at Epic Records. Heidi Montag even tried her hand at event planning when she worked at Bolthouse Entertainment. But now that the show is ending on Tuesday (July 13), how will we get our fix of our favorite “Hills” stars? Well, we have the lowdown on the next big moves the cast plans to make. Lo Bosworth, who has hinted at wanting to get into TV hosting, has launched her own lifestyle website, TheLoDown.com, where she’ll be on hand to give out advice on everything from fashion to boys. She’s also the face of Nivea’s Goodbye Cellulite Challenge. Kristin Cavallari is looking to continue her career in television — but behind the lens. “Going back to ‘The Hills,’ I’ve enjoyed seeing the behind-the-scenes and how everything gets put together, the TV magic,” she said. “So I want to start producing. I’ve been pitching some shows and talking to some people about that. So, hopefully, right away, I can get one of those running, and then I want to keep acting. I would like that. I like being in charge and calling the shots.” Audrina Patridge might land her own reality show, and the Bongo model admitted that a break was foremost on her mind. “I plan on taking a vacation,” she said. “I really want to go to Europe and just travel and hang out with my friends and family down in Orange County. But other than that, I’m still going to castings and still going to auditions for acting, definitely going to continue pushing for that. I would love to do a [period] piece, like, medieval. I love ‘The Tudors’ and I love ‘Troy’ and those types of movies. So that’s my dream.” While Spencer Pratt said he wanted to go back to school , he’s also been tweeting nonstop about his new website, the aptly titled KingSpencer.com , where he covers, ironically, celebrity news. His estranged wife, Heidi Montag , has also recently launched her own website , where she’s shared several designs for a new fashion line she is working on. She has also tweeted about working on several scripts for films, trying to get a role in “Transformers 3” and working on music for a new album. What do you want to see the cast do next? ‘The Hills’ Musical Legacy: Natasha Bedingfield, Lady Gaga And More

Artists from Hilary Duff to Journey owe a debt to ‘Laguna Beach’ and its spin-off. By Kyle Anderson Lady Gaga on “The Hills” Photo: MTV Tuesday night (July 13) represents a huge moment in the history of MTV programming and reality television in general. After six seasons, “The Hills” is coming to a close with a two-hour grand-finale event, beginning at 8 p.m. on MTV. It has been a watershed program, as it first established the sort of hyper-real aesthetic that many reality shows (and a handful of fictional dramas) copied. But “The Hills” and its predecessor, “Laguna Beach,” also left their mark in the music world. Each of the shows had theme songs that helped spark massive career moves for the artists behind them. The theme song to “Laguna Beach” was Hilary Duff’s “Come Clean,” co-written by Kara DioGuardi and John Shanks. Though it originally appeared on Duff’s 2003 album, Metamorphosis, and was released as a single in early 2004, it really picked up steam once it accompanied the premiere of “Laguna Beach” in September of that year. It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart and earned Duff a shortlist recommendation (though no actual nomination) for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards. “The Hills” theme song did even better by its artist. When Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” debuted as the tune that introduced the world to “The Hills” in May 2006, it stormed up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #5. In fact, because of its crossover appeal, “Unwritten” became the most-played song on the radio in the United States in 2006. Not bad for a track that was originally released in 2004 on Bedingfield’s debut album of the same name. “The Hills” also gave the world some early exposure to Lady Gaga . Before Gaga’s debut album, The Fame, took over the airwaves, she performed at a fashion show where Conrad and friend Whitney Port styled her. Gaga was even the subject of a minor plot in that episode, as the zipper of her catsuit broke, forcing Conrad to repair it and save the day. But perhaps the most lasting musical legacy of “The Hills” is actually a moment from “Laguna Beach.” The second-season premiere of “Laguna Beach” (which aired in July 2005) featured a scene wherein castmember Stephen Colletti picks Conrad up for a date. The song playing in Stephen’s car during the scene? Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” which had yet to receive its second renaissance thanks to the series finale of “The Sopranos” (which didn’t air until two years later). Exposure on “Laguna Beach” (along with its appearance on a “Family Guy” episode the same week) sent the track skyrocketing into the iTunes Top 10, an amazing feat for a song that was nearly 25 years old. What was your favorite musical moment from “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills”? Let us know in the comments! ‘The Hills’ Star Justin Bobby Was A ‘Genius’ Hairstylist, Adam Levine Says

‘One day, mid-cut, he was like, ‘So I think I’m going to do this show,’ ‘ the Maroon 5 frontman recalls to MTV News. By James Montgomery Justin Bobby and Audrina Patridge Photo: Jordan Strauss/ Getty Images Back before he was the slouchy philosopher dude with questionable facial hair on “The Hills” — who could forget his sage-like proclamation that “Truth and time will tell all?” — Justin Bobby was better known as Justin Brescia, hairstylist to the stars. And back then, he counted among his clients the gentlemen of Maroon 5 , who were, needless to say, rather amazed by his hairstyling abilities. Like, really amazed, as they told us earlier this month in New York. With the series finale of “The Hills” upon us, we decided to share their revelations with you now. “His name is Justin Brescia … somehow he became Justin Bobby,” M5 frontman Adam Levine said. “I don’t know quite how to say this — I’ve got to say this delicately — but the man is the most incredible hairstylist ever. He really is. Justin, you’re a genius,” he laughed. “He cut all our hair for a long time, and then one day, mid-cut, he was like, ‘So I think I’m going to do this show,’ and it was called ‘The Hills.’ And now he’s quit cutting hair and he’s on the show and he’s a big star, I guess.” But aside from having Brescia cut their hair, the guys in Maroon 5 remain rather blissfully unattached to the entire “Hills” phenomenon (“That’s about as close as I get to that whole … uh, thing,” Levine smiled). So they weren’t exactly aware that the show was coming to an end. But they were excited by the news, mostly because it meant they might be getting their old stylist back. “The guy was like Edward Scissorhands … he even has scissors tattooed on his arm,” Levine said. “He was really passionate about cutting hair, he was like a sculptor. I know it sounds crazy, but the dude is a monster.” Well, what are the odds of getting Brescia back? Levine thought about it for a second, smiled, and then provided an answer straight out of the Justin Bobby book of philosophy. “I don’t know,” he laughed. “Only truth and time will tell, bro.” What do you think Justin Bobby’s next act should be? Should he go back to cutting hair post-“Hills”? Tell us in the comments! Join MTVNews.com on Tuesday, July 13, at 8 p.m. ET for a live stream from the red carpet of Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel, where the stars will gather for “The Hills Live: A Hollywood Ending.” Then tune in for the series finale at 10 p.m. ET on MTV and “The Hills Live: A Hollywood Ending After Show” at 11.
