Twirl Times! Porsha, Kandi & Cynthia Attend Kenya Moore’s Royal-Themed Baby Shower—But Where Was NeNe?

For the RHOA stans… Kenya Moore’s Baby Shower Photos It’s almost twirl time for Kenya Moore and the mommy-to-be celebrated with an EPIC royal-themed baby shower. Despite not being on the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, Kenya’s shower was filled with RHOA stars including Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, and Shamea Morton. Gizelle Bryant of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” was also in attendance. Other guests included Dr. Heavenly and Toya Bush-Harris of “Married to Medicine”… as well as former housewife Claudia Jordan. Noticeably absent however was NeNe Leakes. NeNe’s absence quickly made fans wonder if there was some secret beef brewing between her and the mommy-to-be. A few weeks ago NeNe told the Bossip on WE tv crew that while she doesn’t necessarily miss Kenya, she was certain that she’d be invited to Kenya’s baby shower. “I can’t say that I do [miss her],” said NeNe. “I probably will get an invite, we don’t have any beef. If I don’t that just saves me from buying a gift honey, I can do something else with my bread.” There’s a perfectly good explanation for NeNe’s absence, however, and it’s much less shady than you think! Jesus Take The Wheel: South Carolina Man Gets Sentenced To 12 Years For Biting Off Ex Girlfriend’s Lip

Getty Images Man Gets 12 Years In Prison For Biting Off Part Of His Ex’s Lip A 23-year-old man was sentenced to 12 years in prison for biting off a part of his ex-girlfriend’s lip. Seth Aaron Fleury from South Carolina pleaded guilty on Thursday to assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. He is going to serve at least 85% of the 12 year sentence before he becomes eligible for parole, according to a release from state solicitor W. Walter Wilkins. The incident happened when Fleury met up with his former girlfriend Kayla Hayes on October 21, 2017, to discuss the status of their relationship. Fleury got angry when Hayes was clear that she didn’t want to continue dating him. When he tried to lean in for a kiss, Hayes pulled away, which is when Fleury chomped down on her bottom lip with so much force that part of her lip was amputated. Following the incident, he left the scene, according to the release. Hayes underwent an unsuccessful procedure in an attempt to have her lip reattached, and now has permanent, serious, scarring and a limited range of motion in her mouth as a result. Fleury’s attorney said that he intentionally bit Hayes, according to a Facebook post that she wrote. “I had to listen to his attorney say that when he attacked me, it was intentional. Saying that he claimed ‘he was going to leave his mark for me next boyfriend,’” Hayes wrote. She also recalled the attack — which took place almost a year ago. “This was the day that a piece of me died…Sitting in a puddle of my own blood with the majority of my lip laying on my leg, my whole mouth on fire, confused and terrified, I didn’t know how I could ever show my face again. At that point, honestly wishing that those very seconds would just be my last- I wanted to give up for good.” She continued, saying she struggled with the fact of her new reality post surgery: “What I just woke up from was no joke. Never a day in my life will I ever wake up living my ‘normal’ life again,” she said. Wilkins hopes that her attacker’s sentence sends a serious message about domestic violence. “This case demonstrates the unique circumstances under which domestic violence occurs, and how quickly these situations can escalate into violence,” he said. “Hopefully this prison sentence will make it clear to both this defendant and other abusers that domestic violence in any fashion will not be tolerated.”

Netflix’s “Luke Cage” Cancelled After Two Seasons

Netflix Cancels “Luke Cage” Bad news for Marvel fans who were feeling the Harlem vibes of Netlix’s Luke Cage . After only two seasons on the streaming service, the powers that be have decided to pull the plug on the hit hero show. The series faced the same fate as Marvel sister show Iron Fist , whose cancellation was announced just days earlier. According to Variety , this is just a step in Netflix severing ties with Marvel as the production company moves toward placing all of its properties to the upcoming Disney streaming service. A source tells the site that the network was in talks to produce a third season of Luke Cage , however, it just didn’t seem practical or possible with the big Disney move on the horizon. As Netflix and Marvel Television told journalists in a joint statement: “Unfortunately, ‘Marvel’s Luke Cage’ will not return for a third season. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.” SMH. Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic Pete Davidson Denies Sending Mac Miller Photos Before His Death If you internet much, by now you’ve likely scrolled past a story or ALL CAPS SOCIAL MEDIA POST claiming that before his untimely death, Mac Miller received some emotionally damaging photos from his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande’s new fiance Pete Davidson. The rumor claims that Pete sent Mac Miller intimate photos of himself and Ariana, aiming to destroy any hope the rapper had of rekindling his long-term relationship with the singer. If you’ll recall, Ariana and Pete went public as a couple just days after Ariana and Mac announced their split…and became engaged just weeks after that. Well, a rep for Pete Davidson claims to Page Six that there is “absolutely no truth to that rumor.” What do you think? We’re inclined to believe Pete on this one because if that were the case, it’s likely that news would have spilled almost immediately or at least very soon after Mac’s death, not a month later when Pete and Ariana split up. Mogul Isht: Stephen Curry To Executive Produce First Project With Faith-Based Drama ‘Breakthrough’

Photo by Zhong Zhi/Getty Images Steph Curry’s First Producing Gig Is On The Horizon NBA superstar Steph Curry has quietly become apart of the production team for  Breakthrough , a faith-based drama from Fox 2000, as an executive producer, according to  The Hollywood Reporter . The move was finalized several months ago, and will be one of the first for Curry’s emerging media career. It will also be one of the first to be revealed since the Golden State Warriors point guard officially launched his banner, Unanimous Media, earlier this year. Unanimous is developing many of its own projects and has an overall film and TV deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment, but it looks like Curry just couldn’t pass up getting involved with  Breakthrough  since it deals with his own focus on faith and family. Based on a book by Joyce Smith titled  The Impossible ,  Breakthrough  tells the true story of how Joyce’s son, John Smith, fell through the ice and drowned, and was declared legally dead. However, an hour later, the basketball-loving 14-year-old was miraculously revived through the power of prayer. This Is Us  actress Chrissy Metz stars in the flick as Smith, while Topher Grace plays a pastor. “John’s story is nothing short of incredible,” Curry explained in a statement to  THR . “It’s a story about the power of prayer and perseverance and one I immediately connected to. After reading the script, I knew I wanted to be a part of bringing it to life onscreen.” DeVon Franklin, who focuses on faith-based projects and produced  Breakthrough , said that Curry was moved by the true-life story and that the movie “checks all his boxes: faith, true story, family and sports.” When Franklin initially gave Curry the script, which he read almost immediately; 24 hours later, the basketball star was ready to get involved. Curry and his Unanimous co-founders, Jeron Smith and Erick Peyton, gave overall notes on themes throughout the movie along with detailed notes on a couple of key scenes. They also gave input on the basketball scenes and helped license some of the imagery throughout the film. Using his star power, Curry will also help with the marketing of the movie in the run-up to its release. “He will bring attention to this story, which I think is powerful,” stated Franklin. Breakthrough  is set for a April 12 release in 2019.

Jinger Duggar: Getting My Pre-Baby Body Back Was Easy!

It’s been three months since Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child , and from the looks of her latest Instagram pics, the 24-year-old wasted no time in getting back to her fitness regimen. Fans have marveled at Jinger’s post-baby body , and many have asked the Counting On star for tips and tricks. Fortunately, Jinger is happy to fill fans in on her weight loss methods. Un fortunately, her followers might not be thrilled with Jinger’s “secrets.” It turns out, Jinger has stuck to the basics in the months since she welcomed little Felicity into the world. Insiders say she eats right and exercises a lot — a fact Jinger confirmed with her latest Instagram posts. Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, currently reside in Laredo, Texas, and while they escaped the brunt of Hurricane Michael, their proximity to the Gulf Coast means the couple has faced some pretty wild weather lately. But Jinger didn’t let the rain and wind stand in the way of her daily jogs. Jinger recently documented the stormy weather on her Instagram page and informed fans that it would not stop her from getting in a vigorous workout: “Perfect day for a run,” she captioned the above photo. As rich and famous as they are, the Duggars tend to eschew luxuries such as personal trainers and Hollywood trends like fad diets. So it stands to reason that Jinger would favor the old-fashioned approach when trying to lose that last little bit of baby weight. Needless to say, the old ways seem to be working for her. And one of Jinger’s famous peers recently took notice. “Uhm so that mama is looking fantastic. Congrats on your new baby girl!!!” Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff recently commented on one of Jinger’s pics. “She gets prettier every day.” Jeremy was quick to second that opinion, responding, “She gets prettier every day.” Obviously, baby Felicity is Jinger’s number one priority these days, but it seems she’s also taking time to look after herself while Jeremy watches the baby. Roger Mathews Celebrates Anniversary With Jenni Farley Despite Separation

Last month, Jersey Shore fans were stunned when Jenni Farley filed for divorce from Roger Mathews . The couple was beloved by fans, and their marriage was considered by many to be the most stable among the Shore cast. Adding to the confusion over the situation is the fact that the decision to split was not a mutual one. In fact, it seems as though Jenni made up her mind abruptly and without warning. Mathews has pleaded with Farley to give him a second chance in a series of heartfelt social media posts. Roger Mathews to Jenni Farley: Take Me Back! Of course, fans of Shore won’t be surprised to learn that JWoww is not the sentimental type and was not swayed by Rogers first attempts at a reconciliation. But to his credit, Mathews has not given up. This week marked three years since he and Farley got married, and he celerated the occasion by posting the photo below on his Instagram page: “This happened 3 years ago today. 8 years together total,” Mathews captioned the pic. “3006 days together. Not one of them was a flawless day. Not one of them would I change. “Happy Anniversary Babe @jwoww Wedding video in my bio cause I’m a corny traditionalist.” Obviously, Roger’s post tugs at the old heartstrings, but for all we know, Jenni is right to stand her ground. There have been no allegations of cheating or abuse, but those who know the couple best say they’ve been showing signs of being mismatched for quite some time. “The split was a long time coming,” one insider tells Us Weekly. “Everyone was hoping they’d work it out, but it didn’t happen.” Mathews seemed to confirm as much in one of his videos: “There’s no cheating or any dumb s—t or any juicy details,” the 43-year-old recently informed fans.  “She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … and [it was] not a good one,” he added. Roger went on to say that he understands his wife’s reasons for leaving — but feels that things will be different if they give their marriage a second chance: “I don’t blame her. I’m not done fighting. I’m gonna win my wife back,” Mathews told the camera. “I’m gonna win her affection back, I’m gonna win her love back … We’re in counseling so there is hope. it ain’t over till the fat lady sings.” JWoww, on the other hand, has been hesitant to speak about the split. 90 Day Fiance: Meet the Season 6 Couples!

Season Six of 90 Day Fiance is upon us, and the new couples bring something new to the table: babies. Some couples on this series will make you believe in love again. Others will make you plead with your screen for them to break up. Quite frankly, some of the more toxic couples might just deserve each other. We've already seen the 90 Day Fiance Season 6 trailer , but now we're learning a lot more about these couples. 1. Jonathan and Fernanda Jonathan is a 32-year-old native of Lumberton, North Carolina, but when he met 19-year-old Fernanda in a club in Mexico, he extended his vacation to spend more time with her. Three months later, he proposed. 2. But . . . They have a 13-year age gap and one of them is literally a teenager. They’re both adults, but hooking up on vacation is very different from getting married. Fernanda’s youth definitely comes up, while Jonathan is learning to leave behind his bachelor lifestyle. 3. Ashley and Jay Ashley (32) and Jay (20) met while she was in Jamaica for a friend’s wedding. They struck up a conversation on social media afterwards, and then she went back to visit him again. He proposed to her after only 8 days. 4. But … On top of the age difference between these two, there are concerns by Ashley’s loved ones that Jay may be a cheater. He certainly seems crazy about Ashley, but is it love or lust? 5. Colt and Larissa on 90 Day Fiance Colt is a 33-year-old Las Vegas native who hasn’t had the best luck with the ladies. Then he met 31-year-old Larissa of Brazil on social media. They met up in Mexico, where Colt proposed after only 5 days together. 6. But … In the nicest terms possible, Colt has been single for so long for a reason. Part of that is that he is a grown man who is accustomed to being taken care of by his mother. Jenelle Evans Disappears From Social Media Following David Eason Assault Allegations

On Saturday, Jenelle Evans was rushed to the hospital after being assaulted at her home in North Carolina. While details of the incident remain scarce, it's been widely assumed that Jenelle was attacked by her husband, David Eason. In the days since news of the altercation went public, however, Jenelle went into damage control mode and attempted to sell a version of events in which Eason is not the culprit. Fans aren't buying it — and it looks as though Jenelle may have decided it's easier to hide out for a while than to try and convince them: 1. Angry Eason Eason’s temper is notorious, so when word got out that police and an ambulance were called to Jenelle’s home in response to an assault, fans quickly jumped to the conclusion that he had attacked Jenelle. 2. Damning Evidence It has not been confirmed that Jenelle is the victim, but according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, a woman made the 911 call and informed the operator an assault had taken place. 3. Downplaying the Severity According to officials, Jenelle declined the services of EMTs, but was transported to a nearby hospital in “a private vehicle.” 4. Saving David Shortly after news of the incident went public, Jenelle set about the business of trying to convince fans that there’s no cause for concern and that David is innocent of any wrongdoing. 5. A Strange Defense Jenelle hired someone to issue a statement claiming that her injuries are the result of an accident, and the whole thing is a big misunderstanding. 6. A Party Gone Wrong? “Reps” for the reality star told People magazine that Jenelle and David “had friends over Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property.” View Slideshow
