As if divorcing Chris Pratt didn’t suck enough , Anna Faris is now facing a new trial in life after she shared a seemingly innocuous picture. Faris, of all people, was targeted by body-shamers who flooded her social media with negative comments. The trolling was so severe that she deleted the photo almost instantly. “Having pre-show jitters,” Anna Faris confessed on social media after sharing the now-deleted photo you’re about to see. “So glad Michael Sherman captured it,” she wrote with a hint of sarcasm. Sherman is her Unqualified podcast assistant. “Also,” Faris added. “I eventually decided to put on pants.” It’s understandable that she would put it off — who wears pants unless they absolutely have to? Unfortunately, it was not her lack of leg-prisons … sorry, her lack of pants … that grasped the attention of followers. It was her legs and especially her thighs which, mostly visible, revealed that she has very slender legs and a significant thigh gap. “You look so unhealthy,” one troll wrote, before instructing her: “Eat.” Unfortunately, that was not the only comment — just an example. She was bombarded by an onslaught of body-shaming from hateful trolls. TMZ reports that Faris ended up deleting the photo after only 15 minutes. That is heartbreaking. Some celebrities merely choose to deactivate comments if the hateful vitriol becomes too much. These days, celebrities are more accessible than ever before, and people who want to feel a sense of control will lash out at them to deliberately hurt their feelings. It looks like it worked, this time. Anna Faris does not deserve this. Faris may have been backstage for her appearance on The Talk on Tuesday. “Here’s the thing,” Faris confessed. “I feel really guilty that I wasn’t more anxious” about sending her son, Jack, to kindergarten. “Because it feels like all the other parents were very anxious,” she explains. “And the kindergarten teachers are like, ‘Ah, is everything going to be OK?'” when speaking to the nervous parents. “And I felt like…can’t we just drop him off?” she says. “Chris and I walked him there and we were trying to not transfer any, you know, hint of anxiety,” Faris shares. She and her now-ex husband did the right thing, though Faris notes: “not that I was having it.” Jack followed their lead, she says: “He just ran in and he was like, ‘Bye guys!'” “But it was that funny mom guilt feeling,” she explains. This was a sensation “of like, I feel like this should emotionally tug at me more than it is.” It sounds like they did a good job of instilling confidence in Jack. We just hope that Faris isn’t reeling from the hateful backlash. Social media can be an amazing tool to keep friends connected and to make new friends. People can exchange art and ideas. Unfortunately, the worst people on the planet are also on social media, and they would like nothing more than to ruin someone’s day. You may have been aware Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom broke up back in March of 2017. But did you know they got back together in January of this year? If you were in the dark on that one, you’re certainly not alone. Their second time around, Katy and Orlando agreed to keep things much more low key. But just because they’re not shouting their love from the rooftop, that doesn’t mean they’re not seriously invested in this relationship. In fact, it seems that Perry and Bloom may be on the verge of taking a major step forward together. According to a new report from Us Weekly , Katy and Orlando are planning to get engaged sometime in the very near future. “Katy and Orlando have worked out all their kinks and have had really fluid communication about what each of them wants,” the insider explains . “Katy doesn’t want this relationship to be a repeat cycle of things she’s already experienced in past relationships that didn’t work out,” the source adds. “She’s learned to grow from them and doesn’t want that in her current relationship.” Yes, it sounds as though Katy and Orlando have both learned a great deal from their previous high-profile relationships. “They really try to communicate well and spend as much time together as possible,” the source claims. “Obviously, they’re both very busy, but they prioritize communicating and working their schedules around each other,” the insider adds. “They are very much in love, so an engagement wouldn’t be a surprise.” These comments sound suspiciously as though they originated with Katy’s reps, which leads us to believe there’s some legitimacy to these rumors. We’re sure this pseudo-announcement will lead to another round of rumors that Perry is pregnant with Bloom’s baby , but we’re not willing to take it quite that far yet. Even if the singer is expecting, it’ll likely be quite some time before she makes the news official. A couple of previous leading men have warned that Colton Underwood will hate being the Bachelor . It’s a harder job than it seems. But the The Bachelor Spoilers that we’re hearing about Colton’s season is painting a different picture. It sounds like Colton is much shadier than anyone had ever imagined. Speaking to HollywoodLife , a source says that the wide-eyed virgin Colton Underwood is a fame-hungry manipulator . “Colton’s smart,” the insider says. As proof, they point to his actions since he joined the Bachelor Fam. “All his moves were well calculated,” the source claims. “After getting eliminated on The Bachelorette ,” the insider points out. “He joined Tia in Bachelor in Paradise. ” Going from one to the next is just part of the gig for a lot of stars, but it’s the timing of Colton’s moves that is raising eyebrows. “And then,” the source narrates, Colton “broke up with her” The insider points out that Colton did that “just in time to get his own show.” That’s a pretty serious accusations — since Tia is a real person with real feelings. “It’s no wonder she doesn’t feel like he’s ready [for a serious relationship],” the source concludes. Tia is not Colton’s only ex with concerns about him. But this next piece of info is a bit of a spoiler. Annie Reardon is one of the women competing for Colton’s heart . She even got to meet him early, in an appearance on Ellen . That’s a promising start, right? On October 2, Reality Steve revealed that Annie had been home for a week. What’s more, she apparently — if we’re to take her at her word — chose to come home rather than continue competing for Colton. Reality Steve revealed a Snapchat that appeared to show Annie dragging Colton. “When you dump the Bachelor bc he’s weird as s–t,” her allegedcaption began. The caption continued: “And are headed back to normal, happy life without psycho people.” We are intensely curious to find out what transpired to send Annie running home to her seven dogs. But Annie isn’t alone in thinking that Colton may not be the best leading man ever. It wasn’t so long ago that Dean Unglert looks like a solid candidate to be an unusually young Bachelor. Dean blew his goodwill in a disastrous Bachelor in Paradise love triangle. And though he redeemed himself on The Bachelor: Winter Games , he’s no longer the apple of the Bachelor Nation’s eye. Deanie Babies warns that Colton Underwood will be the worst Bachelor ever . It’s not that Dean is trying to be mean. But Colton has a history of appearing to be wildly indecisive. Being the leading man this show is literally just making decisions. It’s hell if you can’t make choices and stick to them. That said, if Colton is a shrewd calculator rather than being truly indecisive, maybe Dean has him pegged all wrong. While we’re talking about Colton as a reality star, we should also talk about Colton as a boyfriend. He may be hot, but if you read between the lines of ex-girlfriend Aly Raisman’s book, he may lack inner beauty. Olympic champion Aly wrote a tell-all book that mentions her dating an unnamed football player. She describes this guy having her fly out to watch him play, and then says that he was only interested in hearing people on the radio discuss him after his game. He allegedly became irritable when she assumed that he was joking. Without actually name-dropping him, it sounds like Aly accused Colton of being a selfish jerk . The idea that he just wanted to hear his name on the radio really blends with the rest of this picture that is forming. Annie was very vague in her snap, but the source that spoke to HollywoodLife was not. It could be that Colton is self-obsessed and putting on a puppy-like facade to milk the Bachelor Nation for fame and attention. But it’s also definitely possible that people are on their guard after Arie’s season, and a little too eager to spot a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Against all odds, Scott Disick is still dating Sofia Richie . So you’d think the Lord would be done obsessing over his baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian, and would instead be focused on his cradle-robbing relationship. But as he’s shown us time and again, Scott is capable of being creepy in more ways than one. As you may have heard Kourtney is dating Luka Sabbat these days, which means that she and Scott are both banging 20-year-olds. It’s a weird situation, no doubt, but it’s not like Scott is in a position to judge. Nevertheless, it seems he’s keeping a close eye on Kourt and her new man to make sure everything is on the up-and-up. “Scott is monitoring it all because if it gets serious, then that means Luka gets closer to the kids,” a source close to Scott tells told Hollywood Life. “He wants to make sure he isn’t a jerk because the last thing Scott wants is Luka to be a bad father figure. He wants to make sure Luka’s intentions are pure.” Once you get past the hilarity of Scott freakin’ Disick judging another person’s moral character, you can kind of see how this makes sense. Yes, Scott is still is dating a woman who cannot yet legally drink. (Which is probably the best thing that’s ever happened to his liver, to be honest.) But to his credit, he waited a long time before introducing Sofia to his kids. Now, apparently, he wants to make sure that Kourtney does the same. Obviously, there’s nothing new about Kourt getting involved with significantly younger dudes. Kourtney dated Younes Bendjima for several months, and Scott reportedly wasn’t thrilled with that relationship either. This time around, he’s even more concerned, as it’s looking like this is no mere fling. Sources say Kourtney and Luka are already getting serious. And since Kourt’s kids are the most important thing in her life, it stands to reason that she’s itching to introduce them to her new man. Disick is reportedly imploring her to hold off for a while. Megyn Kelly has made it very clear that she thinks Brett Kavanaugh is innocent. The embattled Supreme Court nominee has said so himself, after all . But Matt Lauer, however? Kelly isn’t about to let her fellow journalist off the hook that easily. Lauer, of course, was dismissed by NBC close to a year ago after multiple accusations of sexual misconduct were made about him. The firing was swift and shocking, with executives arriving at their decision not long ater learing of one complaint; telling the public they presumed many more were out there; and letting Lauer go from his post as main Today Show anchor after many years on the job as a result. Just a few months later, Kelly came on board NBC. She made the move after a polarizing and popular stint at Fox News and now hosts her very own (low-rated) hour of Today. So these reporters, both controversial for very different reasons, have been like two ships crossing in the daytime television night. Or something to that effect. Over the past several weeks, there have been a few frightening rumors about Lauer making a return to TV in some fashion. According to a previous Page Six reports, Lauer told a few women who recently approached him that he has been busy fathering, but told these fans not to “worry” because he’ll “be back” on the small screen soon. Does this mean he’s had active discussions with networks? Does it mean he has a story to tell that will exonerate him from all allegations? Does it mean that Lauer thinks people simply don’t believe he supposed raped someone ? It’s unclear. When asked during an interview with Us Weekly if she thought Lauer should come back to the public eye after his fall from grace Kelly said she would not really comment. But she did add the following: “I know too much that others don’t know.” Whoa there. Interesting, right? There’s already A LOT that the public either knows or assumes, based on various rumors and articles. For example: Lauer supposedly made employees feel very uncomfortable by pulling out sex toys in front of them. He also made unwanted advances toward them. And he also had an affair with an underling named Addie Zinone, who actually sat down awhile back with Kelly. When asked if she garnered any backlash for having a woman on her show who had slept with the recently-fired face of NBC daytime, Kelly replied: “All I’m going to say is that I feel very strongly about the #MeToo coverage, the importance of doing it without fear or favor. I didn’t let anyone stop me at Fox, and I’m not going to let anyone stop me at NBC.” Kelly, who previously had spoken out about harassment she endured while employed by former Fox boss Roger Ailes, went on to explain that she believes some men who commit sexual misconduct could “potentially” have second chances in the public eye. She explained her side as follows: “I feel it’s a case-by-case basis. I don’t think we need to see Harvey Weinstein in polite society ever again, but I don’t think that’s true of everyone. I think, for some of these guys, there’s a way forward. “I happen to believe it starts with a full-throated apology, and not just this paper statement of, ‘I did some things wrong and I’m sorry.’” Seems like another shot fired at Lauer, right? This is what he wrote back in late November: There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions. To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry. As I am writing this I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC. Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed. I regret that my shame is now shared by the people I cherish dearly. Repairing the damage will take a lot of time and soul searching and I’m committed to beginning that effort. It is now my full time job. The last two days have forced me to take a very hard look at my own troubling flaws. It’s been humbling. I am blessed to be surrounded by the people I love. I thank them for their patience and grace.
Jenelle Evans might be the very worst person to ever emerge from the reality TV cesspool. We don't say that lightly, as the genre has produced all kinds of narcissists, manipulators, and all-around douchebags, but it's easy to make an argument for Jenelle as the absolute worst. She's an abuser, an addict, a bigot, and an enabler. It's tempting to dismiss Jenelle as merely “troubled,” but she actively goes out of her way to make life worse for other people in a way that makes her truly dangerous. And her latest social media hate campaign is a prime example of what we're talking about. 1. No Chill Jenelle has made no secret of the fact that she has little time or tolerance for anyone who’s not straight, white, and American. 2. A Bad Influence Jenelle has always been a bad person — selfish, violent, abusive, cruel — but the bigotry and obsession with firearms that have made her so much more dangerous as of late seem to be the result of her relationship with David Eason. 3. Dipsh-t Dave David was fired from Teen Mom 2 earlier this year for hurling homophobic slurs at fans of the show on social media. 4. No Lesson Learned Sadly, his termination did not inspire David to change his ways. Instead, he seems to have doubled down on his hateful views in recent weeks. 5. Still a Douche David continues to goad the LGBT community with idiotic remarks and foolish memes about “straight pride.” 6. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged and they’ve been piling on the PDA as they race to the altar. Unlike their public outings, however, it sounds like Hailey’s bachelorette party plans are going to be decidedly less wild and steamy. Is Justin the one insisting that Hailey tone down her last night as an umarried woman? Life & Style reports that Hailey Baldwin’s bachelorette party is going to be a pretty tame affair despite the celebrity guests. Hailey and her guests “will play games about the groom,” their insider reports. She and the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will do that “and take tons of pictures in a photo booth,” the source describes. “Hailey and Justin want it to be a classy and fun-filled celebration,” the insider explains. In other words, there are some things that Hailey will not be doing. Allegedly, it’s Justin who insists that the event be dialed down a little. “So,” the source continues. “What you won’t see are any of the girls wearing wedding veils and playing beer pong,” And they certainly won’t be “getting a five-minute lap dance from complete strangers,” the insider says. (We get the feeling that they won’t be getting lapdances from close friends, either) The source says that there will be no wild antics “or doing any of the other things young brides usually do.” It sounds like a very PG-13 affair. Now, this is pretty believable, even though most wouldn’t considering beer pong to be especially out-of-control. Hailey may be a young, hot model, but she’s also a pretty hardcore Christian. That is one of the things that she and Justin have in common. You know, aside from fame and terrible dads. A lot of their “dates” have been to attend Hillsong Church together. Maybe this super-tame bachelorette was Hailey’s idea. But … maybe it’s true that this is at Justin’s insistence. We should also acknowledge something else. This recent photo of Justin looking very nurturing had an interesting caption. Justin’s formerly deadbeat dad, Jeremy Bieber, wrote: “To be Father.” This led some to believe that the man was hinting that Justin and Hailey have their own bun in the oven . If so, the insistence on a low-key bachelorette party could simply be a cover for why a secretly preggo Hailey might avoid alcohol. If Justin’s the one laying down the law in this respect, it sounds … very hypocritical. It seems that he doesn’t trust Hailey and that he might be a little controlling. But more to the point, he’s done all of this stuff. This is the guy whose own manager was worried that he’d die from his substance abuse issues just a couple of years ago. And the guy worried about his fiancee getting a lapdance has reportedly slept with sex workers while touring in different countries. This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen signs that Justin might be a little jealous or even controlling. Remember Hailey’s close personal friendship with the oh-so-desirable Shawn Mendes? Hold on to that memory, because Hailey purged every photo of Shawn from her entire Instagram account . The two of them went to the Met Gala together earlier this year. Now, from her IG, you’d think they’d never even met. Shawn is a Canadian singer and heartthrob. He’s younger and hotter than the Biebs. Did Justin demand that Hailey do that out of jealousy? There is just so much here that we don’t know. There is so much here that we cannot know, really. If Hailey wants her bachelorette party to just be having a nice dinner and then playing scrabble with some of the (other) hottest models on the planet, that’s fine. Not every bachelorette party needs a stripper or a sexy pillowfight or a human sacrifice. We just hope that it’s her choice — and that Justin respects her enough to make his own party toned down to match. Surely the Biebs has sown enough wild oats for a dozen lifetimes.
