WENN New VH1 Show Brings Unsigned Talent To Music Legends VH1 has recruited some pretty serious music legends for their upcoming show, ‘SIGNED’. The show will have rapper Rick Ross , singer/songwriter The-Dream, and Roc Nation’s Lenny S. The three of them will be introduced to unsigned talent and work to develop these Hip Hop hopefuls into full-blown stars. Blessed. Artists will get to have personal sessions with not only Ross, The-Dream, and Lenny, but they also get mentorship from their friends like DJ Khaled, Meek Mill and Bangladesh. Those who make their mark and find themselves in the finale will have the opportunity to be signed to Maybach Music Group, Radio Killa Records or Roc Nation. The show is set to premiere on July 26 at 9PM, and is set in Alanta, GA.

A 22-year-old University of Arizona student was reportedly beaten to death outside a bar by a dozen peole while on vacation on a Greek island. ABC Reports say Austin Native Bakari Henderson had gotten into an argument with a bouncer inside the bar and things escalted. More people joined in, beating the young man unconscious. Greek Police have arrested a 34-year-old Greek man and a 32-year-old British man of Serbian origin, on murder charges, according to New York Daily News.

Image via Chelsea Lauren/Getty Nelsan Ellis Of True Blood Fame Dead At 39 Sad news breaking just now, Nelsan Ellis of the long-running hit HBO show True Blood, has died at the far-too-young age of 39 according to The Hollywood Reporter . His manager, Emily Gerson Saines, tells THR: “Nelsan has passed away after complications with heart failure,” Saines said. “He was a great talent, and his words and presence will be forever missed.” Says HBO: “We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Nelsan Ellis,” HBO said in a statement. “Nelsan was a long-time member of the HBO family whose groundbreaking portrayal of Lafayette will be remembered fondly within the overall legacy of True Blood. Nelsan will be dearly missed by his fans and all of us at HBO.” True Blood creator Alan Ball: “Nelsan was a singular talent whose creativity never ceased to amaze me. Working with him was a privilege.” Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to Nelsan’s family.

According to TMZ , Carti was arrested at LAX after getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend, Rubi. Cops and witnesses say Playboi Carti and his lady got into a fight and began to push on another. At some point, Carti allegedly pushed Rubi out the door, then threw her into an Uber. Cops showed up and put the bracelets on him and took him away. He posted $20,000 bail this morning. Not sure what kind of backlash Carti will get from this, but putting your hands on a woman is surefire way to be looked upon as a class A scumbag. Raped South American Teen Sentenced  30 Years In Prison Over Still Birth According to The Guardian reports,  A 19-year-old from El Salvador has been sentenced to 30 years in jail for the stillbirth of her rapist’s child. How, Sway?? Reports says the teen girl, Evelyn Beatriz Hernandez Cruz, was convicted on the grounds that failing to seek antenatal care amounted to murder. The teen says she didn’t know she was pregnant until she gave birth in a toilet last year, after falling ill with acute back and stomach pain. She had been repeatedly raped by a gang member over several months as part of a forced sexual relationship according to reports. But, east El Salvadorian courts still found her guilty of ‘murdering’ her baby by not providing the proper prenatal care. Evelyn’s story is causing outrage, prompting women to protest for her freedom.
