Drake Speaks Out Against Rumor That He Disrespected A Muslim Fan’s Hijab During his concert at the O2 Arena in London, Drake had a lil’ back and forth with some fans sitting close to the stage. A recording of the interaction went viral after it was claimed that the woman in the “hot a$$ scarf” who Drake was speaking to was Muslim and her “scarf” was actually a hijab. As you might imagine, making fun of a person religious garb will get you in HOT water these days. But according to Aubrey, he did no such thing. In fact, the woman in question wasn’t wearing a hijab as some news sources reported. Racist Chants Hurled At Black High School Basketball Team In Pennsylvania Apparently high school basketball games are the trendiest places to be racist pieces of s#!t. A DailyMail report highlights a group of 60 Pennsylvania high school students who celebrated “hick night” by holding Trump signs and yelling racist rhetoric at an opposing black basketball team. Parents said Connellsville students yelled chants including ‘Build that wall!’ and ‘Get them out of here!’ at black Uniontown players. The Connellsville fans were sporting gear like camouflage baseball caps and flannel shirts with the sleeves cut off as part of the themed night. The school’s athletic director brought an end to the racist chants and gave the students a stern talking to: He also said he spoke with the 60 students to explain how their actions were perceived, and that the conversation was met with ‘wide eyes’ from the students who said that they were ’embarrassed’. Well, it looks like twins are the hot new celebrity trend for 2017! Just days after the world learned that Beyonce is pregnant with not one but two future music icons, People magazine is confirming that George and Amal Clooney are expecting a couple special deliveries of their own. The magazine is reporting today that “multiple sources” have confirmed Amal is expecting twins. The Clooneys have yet to comment themselves, but People isn’t Star magazine, and they wouldn’t put something like this out there without sufficient confirmation. Apparently, insiders revealed that George and Amal have both shared the news with their families and are preparing a public announcement for sometime in the days to come. “They’re all very happy,” says one source. George and Amal married in 2014 after what we believe was just over a year of dating. (They’re notoriously private about their relationship.) The couple’s engagement came as a shock to fans, due to George’s reputation as the archetypal Hollywood bachelor. (In fact, he’s been married once before, so that image was never entirely accurate.) Despite the fact that she’s remained committed to her challenging and time-consuming career as a human rights attorney, rumors that Amal was pregnant began circulating pretty much from the time the Clooneys got hitched. Now, it looks as though both George and Amal will be getting a crash course in parenting. George has addressed the possibility of fatherhood in the past but always seemed to remain guarded on the topic: “All I know is that it sort of changed everything in terms of what I thought my future – my future personal future – was going to be,” he told People shortly after his wedding. “I’ve always been an optimist about the world. I wasn’t always completely optimistic about how it was going to work out personally for me. But now I am.” Speaking more specifically about the idea of fatherhood after receiving the magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive title for the second time, Clooney said: “I think it’s the most responsible thing you can do, to have kids. It’s not something to be taken lightly.” He added: “I don’t have that gene that people have to replicate. But everything in my life has changed over time.” Congrats to the happy couple. Simone Missick For “Rolling Out” Magazine Actress Simone Missick is covering the latest issue of “Rolling Out” and speaking on her stardom. The “Luke Cage” actress posed for pristine photos and dished to the publication about her delayed journey as an actress. According to Missick she thought she’d make it at 28 like Gabrielle Union, and found herself discouraged when that didn’t happen. “I remember when I moved to L.A. I was 23 years old, and I thought to myself that in five years, I was going to be a success. I just knew that I was going to be successful at 28 because Gabrielle Union did Bring It On at 28, so I was convinced that was going to also happen to me. But when 28 came and went, I was left to face the fact that my plan didn’t quite work out in the way that I had envisioned. But I always had my mom there to encourage me. She would always read me articles of actors or actresses that it took them more time to be successful. For some, it would be 8 or 10 years before they became a success, so I was thankful that she was always providing me with those reminders. That’s when the dream changed for me. Remember when everyone couldn’t get enough of “Blurred Lines”, and Robin Thicke was thought to be the Next Big Thing? How a couple years, a reputation-damaging lawsuit, a cheating scandal, and a seriously ugly divorce can change things. Not long after Thicke blew up as the one-hit wonder of 2013, his carefully crafted public image began to fall apart. Thicke’s wife, Paula Patton, filed for divorce , citing the singer’s infidelity, drug use, and abusive behavior toward herself and her son. These days, Thicke and Patton are battling for custody of 6-year-old Julian, and it seems that every time they square off in court the actress levels a shocking new allegation against her former husband. In early January, she accused Thicke of beating her repeatedly throughout their marriage. Later in the month, at a second hearing, she told the court that she could not allow for unsupervised visits, as she had witnessed Thicke abusing her son on more than one occasion. Now, Thicke is fighting for the right to spend time with his son without a court-appointed monitor present. Sources close to the case say Patton is doing everything in her power to convince the court that Thicke is a threat to young Julian’s safety. “Robin wants to spend as much time as possible with Julian, and he was upset because the monitor was trying to cut his visit time short, so his team went and filed to change to a new monitor, which was denied,” an insider tells People magazine. Thicke insists that there’s no need for supervised visits, telling the court “I have never done anything to harm Julian, and I never would.” The court found in Patton’s favor, and denied Thicke’s request for unsupervised visits. Patton’s team tells People, that she could have denied him visitation rights altogether, but chose to allow supervised visits for the sake of her son: “Paula did not have to request that the court grant Robin court-appointed monitored visits with Julian three days a week but did so with the belief that maintaining a relationship with the father in the presence of a monitor to ensure his safety and well-being would be in Julian’s long-term best interest,” says a member of Patton’s legal team. Thicke says his request for unsupervised visits was prompted by a recent incident in which the court’s monitor unexpectedly ended a visit between father and son a full six hours early. Thicke says he fought the decision until the monitor “indicated that [he] really did not have a choice.”
Back in December, several media outlets reported that Flip or Flop hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa were separating after a bizarre confrontation that included a gun and an alleged suicide attempt. Usually, in high-profile celebrity splits at least one side is eager to set the record straight. However, Christina and Tarek have been tight-lipped for one simple reason: They want to continue making their show , and no one wants to watch lighthearted HGTV real estate porn knowing there’s real darkness bubbling just beneath the surface. As a result, we have that rare situation in which something decidedly messed up happened, the celebrity spouses are calling it quits in hostile fashion, and yet both sides are doing damage control with equal defensiveness. “Neither of us was involved in a romantic relationship with any third party prior to our separation, or believes the other was,” a statement issued by the El Moussas last week reads. Unfortunately, they’re not rich or famous to the point that they can pay off or threaten to rub out anyone who blabs to the press, so anonymous “insiders” are coming out of the woodwork. Now, a report published by In Touch has rounded up all the latest allegations , making it clearer than ever that this was not a case of two married business partners reaching the mutual decision to amicably go their separate ways. One source says that the stories about Christina cheating on Tarek are true, specifying that he caught her sending explicit text messages to a man named Gary Anderson, a contractor previously employed by the couple. In the fight that ensued, Tarek reportedly pulled a gun on Christina. Even after word of her infidelity got out, however, very few who knew the couple blamed Christina for the dissolution of their marriage. Sources say Tarek made a habit of demeaning his wife in public and seemed to enjoy chastising her at work. “When she said the wrong thing and they had to do a retake, he got pissed. He often made her cry,” an insider told In Touch. Sadly, it seems such treatment was no uncommon, and crew members simply learned to look the other way. “Tarek found humor in humiliating his wife in repeated verbal attacks,” one source close to production claims. “Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired].
