Eminem: Father of Rapper’s Adopted Daughter Sentenced to Prison

Even casual fans of Eminem’s music are familiar with the intense domestic drama that’s defined much of the rapper’s life. Following a tumultuous childhood characterized by neglect and abuse, Em — whose real name is Marshall Mathers — entered a famously unhealthy marriage with Kim Scott. Marshall and Kim weren’t married for long, but their relationship had an indelible impact on the hip hop legend’s life. Not only did the former couple have a daughter together, Mathers adopted Kim’s niece, Alaina, as well as her daughter Whitney from another relationship. As one of the wealthiest recording artists on the planet, Em was able to provide a better life for Kim’s niece and daughter. But he was not able to insulate them entirely from the challenges presented by their unstable families. According to a report published Friday by Radar Online, Whitney’s father, Eric Hartter, has been sentenced to several months in prison on drug charges. The decision was handed down while Hartter was already behind bars on unrelated charges. Back in December, the 40-year-old was arrested for allegedly stealing about $200 worth of Red Bull from a CVS store. While serving time for that crime, Hartter was arrested a second time for possession of felony contraband, including Fentanyl and methamphetamine. This week, the judge in Hartter’s case sentenced him to 153 days in jail. Hartter was credited for time served following his previous arrest, but he must still serve at least two months behind bars. While he has never been one of Whitney’s primary caretakers, insiders say Hartter has maintained a relationship with his daughter, who is said to be devastated by her father’s never-ending legal issues. No one with ties to Whitney or Eminem has commented publicly on the case. News of Hartter’s sentence comes just weeks after another tragic development in the Mathers family. Eminem’s father, Marshall Bruce Mathers passed away after suffering a massive heart attack last month. The younger Mathers was not on speaking terms of his father at the time of his death, It appears that Eminem is doing his best to reverse the trend of absentee father figures within his extended family. Yusuf Salaam, Korey Wise and Raymond Santana were the guests of honor at the Moms of Black Boys United “Champions of Change” breakfast at Essence Fest last weekend. Also honored was Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Weston Broome, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks and criminal justice reform campaigner Monteria Robinson, whose son, Jamarion, was killed by the U.S. Marshals. Flies Onto Atlanta’s I-285, Viral Video Leads To Investigation Of Cash-Grabbers

Source: min chul kim / Getty Cash Falls Off Armored Truck On I-285 In Atlanta If you live on the north side of Atlanta and missed the free-for-all on I-285 yesterday evening then you’re probably going to kick yourself after you read this. According to the AJC , an armored truck door swung open while haulin’ a$$ down the highway near Ashford-Dunwoody Road yesterday evening and cash went flying everywhere! “I saw a bunch of paper floating around in the road and everybody pulling over on the shoulder, and as I got closer I noticed it was all just cash,” the driver reported. A viral video of cash ruling everything around people circulated social media almost immediately. Oh y’all thought I was lyin? Yes, there was money flying all over I-285!!! #atlanta pic.twitter.com/aAL6e8huGa — Kites & Flights… (@Caramelbelle) July 10, 2019 Based on that video, police are trying to identify the license plates of anyone seen committing “theft of lost or mislaid property” which could be as many as 50 people. “The law is the law,” Sgt. Robert Parsons said. “You need to turn in the property. It doesn’t belong to you. Reality needs to kick in, and you need to realize this money belongs to someone.” There hasn’t been an official count yet, but the trucks drivers estimate that they lost around $175,000. Police say they only recovered about, wait for it…$200.

Meghan Markle Tell-All Book Idea Shot Down HARD By Palace!

Meghan Markle just wants to get her creative juices flowing. But the Hollywood actress-turned-royal Duchess is finding it difficult to adapt to her new life filled with strict rules set in place by the palace.  Rules that are apparently restricinting her from writing a book.  A tell-all book to be exact, a book that is basically everything we have ever wanted and more, but the palace is silencing Markle’s wish. And the people’s dreams.  Radar Online recently reported that the Duchess of Sussex is feeling “oppressed by the palace” ever since they immediately shut down her idea of writing a tell-all memoir. A source told Radar that the new mom had the idea of releasing a part lifestyle bible, part memoir to document her rise to royalty and all the struggles that come with it. But not at all to our surprise, the palace was not fond of the idea.  “Meghan had started keeping notes about her life, which will include a few personal details about Harry and baby Archie, but will mainly focus on her lifestyle, health, fashion and design choices,” shared the insider. “The only problem is, palace staffers — and the Queen — are firm in their disapproval, worrying that it will be received as a salacious tell-all.” But come on Meghan is a woman of class, and she wouldn’t dare bash the family’s regal history — at least, not too bad anyway. Some, however, believe Meghan to be a nuisance to the kingdom and think she has been rubbing the royals the wrong way ever since she married Prince Harry in May 2017 . Also, considering the many reports on Meghan’s on-going feud with Kate Middleton , her too trendy of fashion choices, and her outrageous Hollywood diva requests, the palace is terrified her book would be a chance to expose or embarrass them. “They’re terrified she’ll accidentally expose palace secrets and cause embarrassment and are demanding she knocks the project on the head,” said the source. “Meghan can’t help but feel that once again, her creative talents are being stifled at every turn.”  But we’re sure Meghan will find a way to win back her creative freedom. The palace knows Meghan isn’t one to follow the rules,  times are changing and the monarch is evolving, so we suggest they buckle up.
