As we reported yesterday, adult film star Danica Dillon dropped her $500,000 lawsuit against 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar . As part of the agreement, Dillon promised never to refile the case while Duggar agreed not to file documents “which the parties agree would conclusively prove that [Dillon’s] claims are fabricated,” according to court documents obtained by Radar Online. This basically means this case is closed for good, but it also means that Dillon admitted to the courts that at least part of her story was made up. However, Dillon is singing a different tune on social media. Yesterday, she tweeted, “Just because something was dropped doesn’t mean it was a lie. #justsaying #thinkbeforeyoutweet.” After being called a liar by members of the Twitterverse, she wrote a second tweet saying their words mean nothing, then attached an Instagram pic of herself flipping off the camera. Naturally, the admission to the courts versus what she is now saying online has left fans confused. Many have speculated that the Duggars paid her off to drop the case, while others are calling her an extortionist. The court documents said nothing about Dillon staying hush on social media, so it looks like she’s sticking to her original story outside the courtroom. Dillon had accused Duggar of physical and verbal abuse during two paid sexual encounters that took place last year. She said she suffered PTSD and loss of wages as a result of the incidents. Josh claimed he had an alibi, receipts and flight records to prove he was in a different state at the time of the alleged trysts, however, we have not yet seen them. We may never know exactly what happened between these two, but Dillon provided her side of the story in disturbing, graphic detail during an interview last month with Hustler magazine.
Let’s be honest, Salma Hayek is better known for having big breasts than having a big sense of humor. But the actress may have just changed that. Hayek was taken to the hospital this week following an accident on the set of her new movie, Drunk Parents , which is something that happens from time to time with stars. But it was what Hayek was wearing that made this emergency room especially memorable. “I had to be rushed from set to the ER for a minor head injury,” the 49-year old wrote on Instagram as a caption to the above photo, adding/explaining: “Unfortunately my wardrobe for the scene was completely inappropriate for the hospital. “Thank you to doctors Foster and Ellspermann for taking such good care of me! And don’t worry it didn’t make me any crazier than I was.” Indeed, the picture featured on Hayek’s social media account depicts the beautiful actress standing between two smiling physicians in white coats. Hayek, meanwhile, is donning a loose-fitting T-shirt with an image of a topless woman whose breasts are cupped by a pair of mystery hands. HA! We love it. We also need this shirt. Hayek is in the middle of filming Drunk Parents , which also stars Joe Manganiello, Bridget Moynahan and Alec Baldwin. It centers on two parents who try to hide their financial problems from their daughter and friends through a series of elaborate schemes.

Coen Brothers Downplay Diversity In Their Filmmaking We’ve already heard what George Clooney had to say about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy…but the director duo that has brought the actor many of his most successful roles seems to have a different outlook. When one writer asked the directors of films like “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” and “No Country For Old Men” why it was their own films never seemed to feature Black faces…the duo basically scoffed at the question. Via TheDailyBeast : I asked the Coens to respond to criticisms that there aren’t more minority characters in the film. In other words, why is #HailCaesarSoWhite? “Why would there be?” countered Joel Coen. “I don’t understand the question. No—I understand that you’re asking the question, I don’t understand where the question comes from. “Not why people want more diversity—why they would single out a particular movie and say, ‘Why aren’t there black or Chinese or Martians in this movie? What’s going on?’ That’s the question I don’t understand. The person who asks that question has to come in the room and explain it to me.” As filmmakers, is it important or not important to consciously factor in concerns like diversity, I asked. “Not in the least!” Ethan answered. “It’s important to tell the story you’re telling in the right way, which might involve black people or people of whatever heritage or ethnicity—or it might not.” The Cohens very very rarely feature people of color in their films at all — much less in prominent roles. However they think singling out individual films “It’s an absolute, absurd misunderstanding of how things get made to single out any particular story and say, ‘Why aren’t there this, that, or the other thing?’” added Joel. “It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of how stories are written. So you have to start there and say, ‘You don’t know what you’re talking about.’” He continued: “You don’t sit down and write a story and say, ‘I’m going to write a story that involves four black people, three Jews, and a dog,’—right? That’s not how stories get written. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand anything about how stories get written and you don’t realize that the question you’re asking is idiotic. “It’s not an illegitimate thing to say there should be more diversity in an industry,” concluded Joel. “But that’s not what that question is about.
