Source: Rodin Eckenroth / Getty Raz B Arrested For Domestic Violence Oh no! Things between Raz B and his girlfriend Kallee Brookes have gone down a dark road. According to TMZ , Raz B is facing a domestic violence charge in Minneapolis after his girlfriend informed a family member about them having an altercation. According to the 911 call, Raz be was allegedly strangling Kallee on a ramp outside of a Macy’s. This led to cops being called and Raz B being arrested. Raz is currently being held without bail. Raz claims he was defending himself according to sources close to him. Police are still investigating to see what led to the altercation. You’ve heard of the power of the dollar — now behold the power of 50 Cent. As you may have heard, social media users were captivated over the weekend by a surprising feud that pitted the rapper against Lala Kent of Vanderpump Rule s fame. Basically, Lala was caught in the middle of a more serious beef, as it seems that 50’s intended target was her fiance, Randall Emmett. Emmett owed 50 a million dollars for reasons that aren’t entirely clear. Randall is a producer on 50’s Starz series Power , and it seems that he may have borrowed the sum from Mr. Cent. But wait, isn’t this the same Hollywood mogul who keeps Lala in Gucci slides and private jets ? Yeah … it’s beginning to look like 50 isn’t the only one that Rand tried to hustle. Fif’s chosen method of shaming Emmett into paying him back was to highlight some of the many, many (many) times that Lala boasted about her man’s wealth and the absurd ways that he pampers her during her scenes on Vanderpump . Lala Kent: I Banged Randall Emmett For a Car! This caused Ambyr Childers’ — Rand’s first wife and the mother of his children, who he divorced in order to get with Lala — to pile on and echo 50’s sentiments. And it’s looking like it was all a bit much for Lala, who has reportedly called off her engagement with Randall. Kent has yet to publicly confirm that she’s broken things off with Emmett, but she has deleted all photos of her apparent ex from her Instagram page. There are numerous theories as to why Lala might have suddenly called off the wedding, but they all concur that Randall’s beef with 50 played a role in the decision. Some say all the negative publicity (the feud was trending on Twitter all weekend and stars like Chrissy Teigen sounded off) was simply too much for the anxiety-prone Lala to handle. Others say 50 opened her eyes to the fact that Emmett is not nearly as rich and powerful as he’d led her to believe. In addition to the fact that Emmett apparently struggled to pay back a loan from a former friend, the texts Randall sent to 50 — which the rapper then posted on Instagram — certainly don’t sound like they were composed by a film industry power broker: To her credit, from the start of her relationship with Emmett, Lala was upfront about the fact that his wealth was the primary reason she was willing to give him the time of day. Now, that he’s been exposed as … well, somewhat less wealthy than he initially portrayed, it’s not surprising that Kent might choose to move on. It’s a sad situation — hell, we doubt even 50 wanted to devastate Randall to this extent. Of course, the worst part is that James Kennedy is probably loving every minute of it, and anything that makes him happy is objectively a bad thing. For years now, Teen Mom 2 fans have been baffled by the show's decision to continue renewing Jenelle's contract. There are plenty of ethical reasons to fire Jenelle — she's a suspected child abuser, known bigot, and all-around terrible person. And then there are the many practical reasons to let her go, including the fact that Jenelle's husband, David Eason, is making it impossible to film her, and she becomes more and more of a liability by the day. Problem Mom Jenelle has always been able to stir up drama and outrage fans. But lately, she’s been creating even more unrest than usual. 2. Remember when we told you that rumors were swirling that Shamari Devoe was demoted from RHOA to make room for Kenya Moore’s alleged return ? Well after Marlo Hampton helped fuel those rumors by calling the Blaque singer “peachless”, someone’s shutting down the chatter. theJasmineBRAND spoke with a source who told them that the Shamari Devoe demotion rumors are NOT true. According to the source, the contracts are still in the works and Marlo who’s only been on the show as an “extra”, has no knowledge of contract negotiations. “There is no truth behind that and Marlo for the record, she has been on the show for 6 years and has never been promoted above an extra. Her statements are unfounded and not rooted in anything solid. She has not seen anyone’s contracts, not sure if she has a contract of her own but she has not seen any paperwork regarding Shamari DeVoe. Shamari had a really good time. The audience has loved her. There have not been any contracts, the contracts are in the works.” Hmmm, it does seem a little early for RHOA execs to pull Shamari’s peach. Guess we’ll see… theJasmineBRAND’s source also told them that Shamari didn’t take too kindly to Marlo’s allegations that she’s secretly an alcoholic. During the season viewers saw Shamari get intoxicated at NeNe’s “Bye Wig” party and throw up on Eva’s shoes. The source says however that Shamari’s drinking was all in good fun. “Somebody who has been drinking a little more than normal, of course, their behavior can be interpreted as funny and this and that. Clearly, no one was every scared of Shamari when she was under the influence of her good time with her friends. Shamari feels like she is on the defensive with Marlo. We’re all human, we all would get tired of somebody consistently drilling us about negative things and we know that we’re not.” Seeing Shamari let loose was pretty entertaining. Conditions at the jail are so bad, the local sheriff now refuses to send arrestees there. https://t.co/vYvhKfdaEn — The Appeal (@theappeal) April 16, 2019 Family Of Jamycheal Mitchell Reaches $3 Million Settlement, Hampton Roads Regional Jail Being Investigated The family of a Virginia man who died in jail has been granted a settlement. Jamycheal Mitchell passed away at the Hampton Roads Regional Jail in Portsmouth, Virginia, on August 19, 2015. He was behind bars for months after he was arrested on charges of trespass and petit larceny for allegedly stealing a 2-liter bottle of Mountain Dew, a king size Snickers bar and a Zebra Cake which accumulated to about $5 worth of snacks from a 7-Eleven. The Appeal recently released an extensive story about Jamycheal’s alleged abuse in the jail. The website notes that Jaymycheal was ordered to receive mental health treatment after he was declared unfit to stand trial. The Virginia man had a history of severe mental disability including a diagnosis of schizoaffective disorder. The treatment did not happen however and he was incarcerated at the Portsmouth correctional facility up until his death. He was allegedly treated poorly all the way up to his demise. “While incarcerated at the jail, correctional officers allegedly struck Mitchell on the knuckles with a flashlight, hurled profanities, mocked him, and called him “dirty,” all as punishment for being uncooperative. When Mitchell was found dead in his cell in August 2015, he was covered in urine. Portsmouth’s chief medical examiner said the cause of death was a “probable cardiac arrhythmia accompanying wasting syndrome of unknown etiology.” His family settled lawsuits against the jail and NaphCare, the company that provided medical services for the jail, for approximately $3 million. Now Hampton Roads Regional jail is continuing to be investigated and the DOJ threatened to sue them if they did not improve conditions in particular for those with mental health issues. The DOJ also criticized the incarceration of 62 people with severe mental illness at Hampton Roads who had booking histories of “minor offenses,” such as shoplifting, trespassing, and violating their probation. Unfortunately, the DOJ’s yet to take action, a delay that could possibly be in part because of the government shutdown. The Appeal reports; “In its December 2018 report, the DOJ gave the jail just over a month and a half to implement its recommendations. The agency also said it would sue if the jail did not “satisfactorily” improve its conditions during that time period. But when the deadline passed in February, the federal government had just emerged from the longest shutdown in history. As of early this month, the DOJ had not followed through on its threat to sue Hampton Roads. (The agency did not respond to The Appeal’s request for comment.) The jail continues to work with the DOJ on its recommendations, Hackworth said. He told The Appeal that he is awaiting more clarity from the agency on its more than 40 recommended remediations, such as auditing of administrative records regularly for completeness and accuracy, ensuring there are improved intake screenings and health assessments, and ending restrictive housing for people who say they are suicidal.” Now The Virginian Pilot reports that an unfortunate fight has broken out between Jamychael’s family members for the settlement money. Jamycheal’s mother’s side of the family is reportedly fighting with his father’s side. “The mother’s side argues they were closer to Jamycheal and deserve most, if not all, of the money. The mother believes she should receive the “majority,” with the half sister receiving a “reasonable” portion. The maternal half-sister wants an equal split between the two. The father’s side said they were all equally close to him. Therefore, they believe they should all receive equal portions: about $215,000 a person. We pray that Jamycheal’s family finds some middle ground and that the DOJ continues to look into a facility where 68 in-custody deaths took place between 2003 and 2018.

We’ve watched Nene Leakes and Porsha Williams ‘ beef for most of the season and the reunion episodes, and now they’re beef has reached court document level — at least according to Porsha. The new mom told PEOPLE that after she took to Instagram to share screenshots of Nene fat-shaming her while pregnant, Leakes sent her a cease and desist letter. “After that whole Instagram back and forth that she started with me, she ended up sending me a cease and desist. So once she sent me a cease and desist, at that point, I was like, ‘You know what? This is just a sure sign that I should be done with the relationship.’ So I’m over it. I’m concentrating on my baby girl. And people who love and support me at this moment.” You may recall that in the lethal texts, Nene called Porsha a “lying a** big fat hungry b***h” and a “big piggy with the busted shape.” The Swag shop owner has made it clear that she’s no longer friends with any of the girls on the show, and judging by her taking matters to court, it’s probably safe to say she won’t be sippin’ tea with the ladies anytime soon.
