An investigation has been launched on the West Midlands Police department after video surfaced of officers aggressively hitting and pepper spraying a Black man inside an unidentified room before shutting the door on the person recording. Sources claim that the victim was a Muslim, which allegedly lead to the violent attack — however, officers have not confirmed. The department released a statement saying: “On February 25 officers were called by a doctor who was conducting a mental health assessment in Sandwell. During the assessment, the 38-year-old man became violent and assaulted the doctor with a metal crutch, so police were called. The video circulating on social media shows edited footage of officers who attended but does not show the events which lead up to his restraint.” West Midlands Police didn’t take responsibility for the officers volatile behavior, but they did refer themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. After the assault, the unidentified victim was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody. He is currently receiving treatment in a mental health facility.
If you watched the first two-hour installment of The Bachelor season finale on Monday night, then you learned two important things: The show’s producers have figured out a way to drag this thing out to an absurd degree, and Colton is all-in when it comes to Cassie Randolph. Last week, Colton got dumped by Cassie (Fun fact: He’s the most-dumped bachelor in the show’s history!) and in response, he hopped a fence — with impressive upper body strength — and took off into the wilds of Portugal. This week, Colton kicked both Tayshia and Hannah G to the curb in order to focus on winning back Cassie — who, again, had just dumped him. We all knew Colton’s fantasy suite week would probably feature considerably less sexy-time than past seasons, but we didn’t think dude would end up just as single and virginal as when he started! At times, it was tough to figure out what the Colton was thinking. But in a new interview with People , Underwood makes it clear that there was just one thing going through his mind — Cassie. “I had to fight for Cassie,” the ex-football player tells the magazine. “I was ready to end the show.” Colton says once he poured his heart out for Cassie, he knew there was only one path forward. “Once I had the conversation with Cassie, my mind was made up. I was either going to leave by myself, or I was leaving with her,” he says. As for sending Tayshia and Hannah packing, Colton says he did as much for their sake as for his own. “I had to do what was right, and what was best for them, and that was to have that tough conversation,” he tells People. “The game was changed in a way,” “I knew I could walk away heartbroken,” says the Bachelor star. “But I had to fight for Cassie.” Colton seems like a decent fella and all, but he’s definitely guilty of sugar-coating some heaping spoonfuls of BS. We don’t doubt the sincerity of his feelings toward Cassie, but after the famous dump-and-jump scene, it’s not like he could have gone back and tried his luck with Tayshia or Hannah. Imagine if he had to watch the Cassie breakup with one of the other women, having recently proposed to her . We’re guessing that wouldn’t have gone over to well with either Hannah or Tayshia. Colton might not always be the brightest bulb when it comes to his love life. But even he has the foresight to anticipate a disaster like that. Rapper Fatboy Izzo Premieres New Music Video On BOSSIP Fatboy Izzo raps about his evolution as an artist and a man for his new visual “Forbes List,” featuring Retta Slim. Izzo, the brother of freestyle rapper Fred The Godson, said “Forbes List” will give his fans a sense of “how I’ve changed, where I’m taking my career, and how far I’m going to push myself as a person, and as an artist,” he told BOSSIP. Shot by Les Visuals, “Forbes List” is a single off of Izzo’s album TLKBOUTIT Vol. 1: Endurance, which drops March 22. “With the album ‘TLKBOUTIT Vol. 1: Endurance,’ the music is about the people getting to know Izzo,” he said. “Where I came from and where I’m going. I want people to know that I didn’t let my faults bring me down.” The visual sees a bare-chested Izzo – joined by Retta Slim – rapping in a mansion and sipping Moet surrounded by a bevy of beauties. But despite being behind bars, Juelz Santana is still facing legal trouble. The Dip Set rapper is in danger of losing his luxury condo to foreclosure – again – after not paying the mortgage in more than six months, BOSSIP has learned. Wells Fargo Bank sued Juelz last month, alleging that the rapper hadn’t made payments on his mortgage since July 2018 and it wants him out ASAP. Juelz bought the 2,300 square foot condo in 2005 for $540,000 and financed it in part with a $486,000 mortgage with 8.5 percent interest rate, his mortgage states. He agreed to make monthly payments of $3,754 for 30 years to pay for the home. The property is now valued at $391,000, according to Zillow, and is located in a tony Northern New Jersey housing development that was once home to the Notorious BIG. Wells Fargo’s suit marks the third time in two years that Juelz has battled foreclosure proceedings, according to court papers. The bank wants either the money owed on the mortgage or the home sold in order to recover its costs. It also wants Juelz banned from having any stake in the condo’s equity. We exclusively revealed that Juelz has battled to keep his home off the foreclosure rolls for years. But with him now behind bars until at least 2020, it may be harder than ever to come up with the money to get out of the debt. While he was out on bail in his federal gun case, Juelz did not live at the condo, but in the next county over with his now wife, Kimbella , and their two children. On top of the foreclosure suit, Juelz’s homeowner’s association also sued him last month for stopping payment on his condo’s common charges, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. The Courts of Glenpointe Condominium Association alleged Santana owed more than $7,000 in maintenance and late fees and hasn’t paid the house bills since Dec. 2018. The association wants the charged paid in full, along with attorney fees, according to the complaint. Juelz’s lawyer hadn’t responded to either lawsuit as of Monday.

Sadly, in 2019, just about all of us have some experience with being insulted by a stranger online. Of course, public figures are more visible, and thus, they receive even more abuse on social media than the rest of us. And sadly, there are certain celebrities who get singled out for the kind of treatment that crosses the line between bullying and harassment. Meghan Markle is one of those celebrities. In the months since she married Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex has become the focus of a targeted online harassment campaign. In recent weeks, the racist attacks on Meghan have become so severe that palace officials have been forced to investigate. Fortunately, Meghan entirely steers clear of the racist cesspool that is Twitter, so at least she’s not personally exposed to the bigotry and bitterness. The duchess reminded us all of the importance of being selective about your media consumption when she participated in a panel discussion for International Women’s Day at King’s College in London. “My personal decision is to not to feed into negativity and be more cause-driven, action-based,” Meghan said. “For me it’s a tricky one, because I’m not part of any of that. I don’t look at it. Sorry, no. For me that is my personal preference. But I do read The Economist .“ The panel was hosted by Anne McElvoy, senior editor for The Economist , so Meghan wasn’t just boasting about her high-minded reading material. Meghan added that she seeks out “journalism that’s really covering things that are going to make an impact, which we talked about backstage. We were talking about Tanzania and the article The Economist just did. “Things like that, that are really talking about how the role of women is really shifting and changing,” Meghan added. “That’s key. Focus your energy there and not on the stuff that is perhaps muddling you.” So the good news is, Meghan isn’t personally exposed to the daily tidal wave of online hate targeted at her. The bad news is, it’s still going on — and it’s very dangerous. “The Royal Family is forced to be monitoring their social media feeds 24/7 because of all of the racist hate that Meghan has been receiving,” says a source close to the situation. “It has become a great problem.” It’s important to remember that each of us can play a role in correcting this insidious problem.
