Source: wilpunt / Getty Man Confesses to Raping 3-Year-Old Girl Leading to Her Contracting Two STDs According to the NY Post , a Texas man confessed to raping his 3-year-old toddler relative, leading her to contract chlamydia and gonorrhea. Drevon Alexander Perkins, 26, of was arrested after the girl’s mother noticed discharge in her diaper and took her to a hospital for observation. A doctor confirmed she had been infected with not one but two sexually transmitted diseases and a police investigation was launched. Perkins later admitted during a polygraph test to raping the child while he was “high on drugs” earlier this year and attacked her at his apartment while her mother was working. Perkins had been previously been diagnosed with chlamydia and gonorrhea according to his medical records. He remains in custody on $100,000 bond for felony super aggravated sexual assault of a child. If convicted, Perkins reportedly faces a minimum of 25 years in prison.

Angela Bassett Teams Up With Ford To Celebrate Black Culture In New TV Spots

Ford Releases Two Ads Featuring The “Black Panther” Star Angela Bassett has partnered with the Ford Motor Co. for two commercials that celebrate the African-American experience. The ads, “Built Ford Proud: We Lead” and “Ode to the Builders,” is narrated by Bassett and feature African-American families and Ford employees along with imagery like Detroit’s Joe Louis Fist and the Los Angeles Crenshaw Mural. “I am proud to have narrated these inspiring and powerful Ford spots that showcase the leadership and strength that are embedded in the African American community,” Bassett said in a statement. Bassett premiered the two spots last month at Essence’s “Black Women in Hollywood” luncheon before celebrating “Black Panther’s” historic win at the Academy Awards. Check out the spots above.

SMH: J. Cole & Bryson Tiller Are Being Sued For Allegedly Stealing A Producer’s Beat

Source: Jeff Hahne / Getty J. Cole And Bryson Tiller Sued By Producer G-Money J. Cole  and  Bryson Tiller are both have an infringement lawsuit on their hands. According to reports from The Blast , these two have been accused of stealing an instrumental created by a producer named G-Money. He claims that Cole and Tiller ripped off his 2013 record “Shawty So Cold” for their respective cuts of their songs “Déjà Vu” and “Exchange.” G-Money—whose legal name is  Gary Frisby—made these same accusations several years ago when he uploaded a 2017 YouTube video in 2017, explaining the similarities between the records mentioned above. G-Money’s suit states Cole and Tiller’s songs feature “the same kick pattern, snare pattern, FX swell, and vocal strike.” and that “the substantial similarities between the three songs are of no coincidence.” Cole’s song “DejàVu” appeared on his 2016 album 4 Your Eyez Only, while Tiller’s “Exchange” was featured on his 2015 debut studio album Trapsoul . The producer is seeking now $150,000 per infringement, as well as an injunction that would prevent Cole and Tiller from continuing to profit off his material. Sony, RCA Records, and Roc Nation are all listed as co-defendants. The drama between the origins of these particular songs is nothing new. The producers of “Déjà Vu” and “Exchange” have also accused each other of stealing this particular beat in the past. Back in 2016, Vinylz and Boi-1da (the ones who produced “Déjà Vu”) accused Foreign Teck of ripping them off when he created “Exchange”–even though Tiller’s track was released months before Cole’s record.

WTF: Romanian Man Arrested After Attempting To Smuggle EIGHT Vietnamese Children In A Refrigerator

Source: Getty / Getty In today’s edition of “people are wild, yo”, a Romanian man was sentenced to four years in prison on Thursday for actually attempting to smuggle 10 vietnamese citizens in an old refrigerator — including eight children. 45-year old Ciprian Scorteanu was stopped by Border Patrol at Port of Hull after police noticed his goods vehicle was suspiciously heavy. After questioning Scorteanu, officers decided to impound his trailer for 48 hours in order to do a thorough search. The suspect was allowed to leave the port for a couple of days as his tractor trailer was being investigated, and that’s when ish got real. Metro News reports: Just hours after letting him go, officers made an alarming discovery after noticing steam coming from the roof of the trailer’s refrigeration unit. The façade of the unit was removed and inside, officers found 10 people, including eight children, hiding inside a specially adapted fridge. Mark Robinson, Humberside assistant director for Border Force said: ‘This was a deliberate attempt to bypass the UK’s border controls. ‘The trailer had been adapted for the sole purpose of smuggling.’ Allegedly, the men in the fridge were once denied entry to the U.K. and being smuggled was their last attempt to get in. On March 7, Scorteanu was sentenced to four years and six months for the crime. The eight children were sent to child protective services. Damn.

Mo Money: Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD Tour Grossed $34.3 Million In The First 3 Months

Billboard just revealed that the ASTROWORLD rapper grossed a whopping $34.3 million during only the first three months of his  Wish You Were Here Tour . These numbers are the reason that Scott landed at Number 2 on the Hot Tours recap for March 9, the “Sicko Mode” rapper’s third successive week in the top 5, according to Billboard . The magazine also shared that Scott has added $10.6 million to his tour total. Since kicking the off his tour last November in Baltimore, Maryland, the rapper has grossed $34.3 million and sold 485,659 tickets during the first 32 dates of his excursion. These number become even more impressive considering the fact that this tour marks Scott’s first headlining tour in arenas, following his position as opening act for the Weeknd in 2015, Rihanna in 2016, and most recently, Kendrick Lamar in 2017. Scott’s $34.4 million gross is higher than a number of 2017 and 2018 tours, which includes J. Cole’s $25.2 million, Future’s $19.9 million, and Chance the Rapper’s $17 million. But there’s more where that came from–21 shows still remain on La Flame’s tour before it ends in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 26, which gives him more than enough time to rake up considerably more cash. Sure, it’s nowhere near a billion dollars, but it’s safe to say Stormi’s college fund is looking pretty healthy from both of her parents’ contributions.
