Some internet thugs decided to hack the world, releasing whole new albums from Beyonce, SZA and Solange on Spotify and Apple Music. Kansas Man Spends Decades In Prison For A Crime Committed By His Doppleganger, Gets Awarded $1.1 Million

Source: Mongkol Nitirojsakul / EyeEm / Getty The state of Kansas has finally passed a new law that provides compensation to people who are wrongly imprisoned — and first up to receive his retribution is 42-year-old Richard Anthony Jones. According to NBC News , Jones spent 17 years in prison for a crime he has always insisted he didn’t commit. Then attorneys discovered that there was a man who looked nearly identical to him and had a similar name. Back in June 2017, Jones was released from prison after witnesses said they could barely tell the difference between the two men and no longer thought Jones was guilty. On Monday, a settlement was reached and the state of Kansas agreed to pay Jones $1.1 million for his wrongful conviction. Jones was arrested in 1999 for an attack and robbery in the parking lot of a Walmart in Roeland Park, Kansas. Reports say that physical evidence linked Jones to the crime, but he fit the description of the suspect. Two other mistaken conviction lawsuits are currently pending in Kansas. Hopefully justice will be served.

So Sad: 6-Year-Old Girl Accidentally Shot In Head By Brother While Parents Attend X-Mas Party

A six-year-old St. Louis girl, Maliyah Palmer was shot in the head last Friday and died after the brother accidentally shot her with their parents’ 9mm handgun. According to reports for The Daily Mail , the brother, 12, discovered the weapon in his the dresser in his parents’ bedroom before shooting his sister. Their mom and dad were reportedly at a Christmas party at the time of the incident. After being accidentally shot in the back of the head, the first-grader later died in the hospital. Her she is, in a photo shared on facebook. Reports say the kids were both under the supervision of their 16-year-old sister while Dwandra and Marius Palmer, were out at the holiday party, according to the  St Louis Post-Dispatch . An initial press release from Florissant police stated that the shooting was a ‘tragic accident’ and no charges will be filed. Marius Palmer posted that Maliyah’s funeral will be held on Friday. Rest in peace baby girl.

“Love Is ___” Cancelled By OWN Amid Domestic Violence Allegations Against Co-Creator Salim Akil

Source: Roy Rochlin/Getty Images / Getty “Love Is ____” Axed By Own Network Bad news for fans of the OWN Network breakout hit show “Love Is ___.” After only one season on the air, season 2 of the show has been dropped and will not see the light of day. While the show had many fans and sparked tons of hot online debate, the program became marled in scandal after the alleged mistress of show exec Salim Akil, who co-produced the show with his wife Mara Brock Akil, stepped forward to reveal that she had been sexually and physically abused at the hands of the writer/producer for the better part of the last 10 years. She also alleged that the show itself was a copyright infringement on her original scripts for an unproduced pilot. Akil has not denied having an extramarital relationship with the woman in question, however, his lawyer released a statement stating that the allegations are completely false and they plan to defend him to the fullest extent of the law. On top of that, Warner Brothers has launched an investigation into the Akils’ other show, ‘Black Lightening.” However, that particular program is safe at the moment. SMH. The show will be missed, but this is what happens when those old skeletons of abuse and misconduct fall out of Hollywood’s closets. Are you sad that “Love Is ____” got the chopping block?? Source: Quar “QB” Brown / Quar “QB” Brown Stefon4U has been under the wing of recording artist and Love and Hip Hop cast member Yung Joc for some time now. Joc and fellow cast mates Stevie J and Scrappy, along with “Notorious” actor Dennis White, came to support Stefon4U on his newest project at The Venue located in Forrest Park outside of the city. Bae Deluxe held a number of features from artists such as Yung Joc, Pretty Ricky, Offset’s daughter’s mother Shya Lamour and more. This album is filled with smooth, sensual R&B vibes, combining musical attributes from today and the 1990’s. Joc takes great pride in his new R&B artist, expressing, “Let me tell you why I mess with Stefon. He’s fearless, it’s unbelievable the amount of talent he has, and he’s not afraid of jumping out there with or without me to show you just how good he is. He moves with an aggressive chip on his shoulder that makes him great.”  Stefon4U has had a hand in the acting realm of entertainment as well, playing in the Tupac biopic as Puff Daddy, and also portraying Diddy in Oxygen’s Snapped.
