Nene Leakes’ Son Robbed By Fan NeNe Leakes’ 17-year-old son , Brentt, got jacked for his wallet and laptop while trying to help his mother out on her nationwide comedy tour. Apparently, Brentt was working the merch table on Wednesday night at NeNe’s “So Nasty, So Rude” comedy tour stop in Chicago. According to TMZ , a customer became upset with something regarding their purchase and demanded a refund. But, when Brentt refused to hand the cash back over…the man instead grabbed his backpack — containing Brentt’s wallet and laptop — and left the venue. Cops have surveillance footage of the robbery, but no arrests have been made yet. Thankfully Brentt wasn’t harmed. Damn, how lowdown and hard up for cash do you have to be to rob a teenager because you’re a little pissed off with your purchase. Bravo
Denzel Washington Charged With Choking Aretha Franklin Before you lose your mind, relax , take a deep breath, and peep game. A report in the NYPost states that Denzel Washington has accepted a plea deal for strangling Aretha Franklin. Thing is, it’s not THAT Denzel Washington and it’s not THAT Aretha Franklin. A man from Manhattan named Denzel Washington was charged with assaulting his mother, who just so happened to be named Aretha Franklin. The altercation happened inside the mom’s apartment in a doorman building on West 93rd Street, according to the Manhattan criminal complaint. “I am informed by Aretha Franklin,” the complaint says, “that she observed the defendant place his hands around her neck and apply pressure, thereby causing redness, bruising and substantial pain to her neck.” As part of the plea deal Washington will have to enroll in an anger management course. Tim Burton Explains Why His Movies Are Predominantly White Have you ever noticed Tim Burton ‘s movies lack a little melanin ? The director of such childhood classics as Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas is under attack for admitting his disdain for diversity. Tim recently sat down with Bustle to discuss his latest flick Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children , and says there’s a reason why his movies are predominately white . “Nowadays, people are talking about it more,” he says regarding film diversity. But “things either call for things, or they don’t. I remember back when I was a child watching The Brady Bunch and they started to get all politically correct. Like, OK, let’s have an Asian child and a black. I used to get more offended by that than just… I grew up watching blaxploitation movies, right? And I said, that’s great. I didn’t go like, OK, there should be more white people in these movies.” In Burton’s latest flick, Samuel L. Jackson stands out as the only Black actor to be included in the cast. Jackson recently added his own two cents about the mostly white stars cast in the film… “I had to go back in my head and go, how many black characters have been in Tim Burton movies?” Jackson says. “And I may have been the first, I don’t know, or the most prominent in that particular way, but it happens the way it happens. I don’t think it’s any fault of his or his method of storytelling, it’s just how it’s played out. Tim’s a really great guy.” We’re sure Tim Burton is a “great guy” but he can also be labeled a bigot as well. Cops Find 110 Bags Of Heroin Inside A Drug Dealers Butt We can’t remember seeing an episode of The Office about this… According to NYPost , a Scranton, Pennsylvania drug dealer was arrested by an undercover officer who found 110 bags of her-on loaded inside of his of his a$$. To make matters worse, if that’s even possible, 32-year-old Corey Davis was found with more drugs on his person when he was searched. Rapper Freddie Gibbs Found Not Guilty Of Teen Rape Charges In Austria For months now rapper Freddie Gibbs has been under threat of losing his freedom behind an alleged sexual assault that took place in Vienna, Austria. Back in June Gibbs was arrested and charged with the rape of a drunk 17-year-old fan after one of his shows. Today, according to DailyMail , Gibbs was acquitted of all the charges against him and thus dodged a potential 10-year stint in the bing. Hi hater! Amber Rose Accuses Julianne Hough Of Body Shaming During a recent episode of “Dancing With The Stars” Amber Rose apparently took offense to a comment made by judge Julianne Hough. According to E! News Amb revealed on her podcast that she was upset when Hough said she felt “uncomfortable” while watching Amb dance with her partner Maks Chmerkovskiy. Why? Because she felt Hough was turned off by her curvaceous figure. Amber’s fellow host Chris Donaghue mentioned that he felt Julianne’s criticisms of Amber’s dance were unfair, to which she replied, “Last night was like, they did the commentary, and I, it was a point in the dance where I had to lift my leg up and Maks [Chmerkovskiy] dipped me & [Julianne] said, ‘Oh, I’m uncomfortable,’ and instantly I felt, I did feel body shamed.” Amber added, “You know, all the beautiful professional dancers that are on Dancing With the Stars, I mean they dress very sexy and they do the splits and they grind up on these guys and they look absolutely stunning and get a standing ovation. And me, and my body, my hips, my a**, my breasts made her uncomfortable.” Hough has since reached out to E! News and says that the clip of her “uncomfortable” comment was edited. “Any kind of body shaming goes against everything I believe in,” said Hough. Meanwhile, Julianne tells E! News exclusively, “To be clear, that was a produced package, not live coverage and they can put those sound bites anywhere. My ‘uncomfortable’ comment was about the fact that I felt like I wanted more out of the performance – when someone is doing a hot, sexy dance like that without the right amount of energy that is required, it can be uncomfortable to watch. ” She continued, “Trust me I’m ALL for a sexy booty dance!!
