According to TMZ , Glover was arrested in Washington, D.C. on firearms charges back on June 26. Police pulled the actor/singer over and discovered a pistol upon searching his vehicle and hit him with a misdemeanor. Let the cops tell it, they were told be on the lookout for a white jeep driven by a man who was allegedly waving a gun out of the window. Glover’s car just happened to match that description after he was said to have changed lanes without a signal. Although Anwan told the pigs that he didn’t have a gun and denying their request to search the car, they did it anyway. The Anwan’s lawyer says his jeep doesn’t even match the description of the car the bacon boys were told to look for. Sounds like BS to us.

Source: Patricia Schlein/WENN.com / WENN Rapper Turned Reality Star Says She Did Not Attack Witness To Alleged Assault Involving Remy Ma “Love & Hip Hop: New York” starlet Brittney Taylor has been offered a no-jail plea deal following her arrest last month for allegedly assaulting a witness in her separate assault case against Remy Ma. Taylor was in Manhattan Criminal Court Monday for a hearing on the assault rap, where cops charged her after she allegedly scratched her alleged victim Dina Khalil and threw a cell phone at her face during an early morning argument. Prosecutors offered to drop the assault charge in exchange for Taylor pleading guilty to harassment in the second degree, a violation, along with a conditional discharge and order of protection between her and Khalil. But the Manhattan DA’s office said that Taylor rejected the plea deal and the case is now scheduled to go to trial next month. Following the hearing, Taylor’s lawyer Sanford Rubenstein told us that they are now mulling the deal, but also would be pushing to have the case thrown out. He added that Taylor’s assault case doesn’t negate that Remy Ma allegedly pummelled her. “Nothing in this case changes any of the facts with regard to the allegations of assault by Brittney Taylor against Remy Ma,” Rubenstein said. Taylor accused Remy Ma of slugging her earlier this summer at a concert at Irving Plaza in NYC, and cops later charged her with assault. Remy Ma is due back in court this week.

Source: Rodney White / RODNEY WHITE Jeffrey Epstein Arrested For Sex Trafficking Minors Jeffrey Epstein, known for being both a wealthy financier and registered sex offender , was arrested on Saturday on new charges related to accusations that he was involved in sex trafficking dozens of minors between 2002 and 2005. The former hedge-fund manager is now in federal custody, according to the Daily Beast , and is expected to appear in court on Monday. The sealed indictment will reportedly claim that Epstein “sexually exploited dozens of underage girls in a now-familiar scheme: paying them cash for ‘massages’ and then molesting or sexually abusing them.” This abuse allegedly took place in both his Manhattan apartment along with his home in Palm Beach and he could face up to 45 years behind bars. Epstein was taken into custody on Saturday afternoon at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey when his private jet landed from Paris. This arrest comes more than a decade after Epstein avoided federal criminal charges with a once-secret plea deal that has been widely criticized. Under the terms of that deal that is currently being challenged in court, Epstein was able to plead guilty to a lesser charge and was sentenced to only 13 months in jail . He had to register as a sex offender, but served his sentence in a private wing of a county jail and came up with an arrangement that allowed him to work out of his office six days a week. Earlier this year, a judge in Florida ruled that Epstein’s victims should have been consulted in regards to the deal. But, last month, the Justice Department said it would not nix Epstein’s non-prosecution agreement. The court hearing for Epstein’s case in on Monday.

Their marriage publicly collapsed after news broke back in January that Jeff had been allegedly cheating on his wife with former television anchor Lauren Sanchez. The story exploded into the public eye after racy text messages between the two were published by multiple media outlets. Following the media storm, Bezos published an open letter on Medium accusing American Media, the parent company of the National Enquirer, of trying to blackmail him–but, of course, that didn’t undo what damage had already been done. Officer Kevin Morris arrested, 19-year-old Arnaldo Pesoa of Silver Spring on Wednesday on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, attempted distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, resisting arrest and second-degree assault. At the time of the arrest, MPD was conducting an undercover operation regarding Pesoa selling psilocybin mushrooms in the area. In the cell phone footage of the incident, you can hear Pesoa yelling at an officer, “I just spit on your f****** shoe,” just before the officer pulled the man’s shirt over his face. Capt. Tom Jordan with the Montgomery County Department of Police told CBS Local reporters : “It does show some use of force by an officer. We are looking into all aspects of this incident and will continue to investigate.” Pesoa posted a $5,000 bond and was released, while the assaulting officer has been assigned to administrative duties and his police powers have been suspended as the department reviews the incident.
