British Author Attacks Teen With Wine Bottle Over Book Review A 28-year-old British author recently pled guilty to assault for stalking and attacking a teen who gave his book a poor review. Richard Brittain reportedly drove 500 miles and tracked down 18-year-old Paige Rolland at her supermarket job for giving his self published title one-star on Amazon. Upon finding the the teen he then assaulted her with a wine bottle. The Telegraph reports: A former Countdown champion hunted down and attacked a teenager after she posted a bad review of his book online. Richard Brittain smashed a bottle of wine into Paige Rolland’s head as she stacked shelves in an Asda supermarket in Glenrothes, Scotland. He tracked the 18-year-old down online through her social media accounts after reacting badly to her analysis of his self-published title. Brittain, 28, who was crowned Countdown champion in 2006, travelled 500 miles from his home in Bedford to the Fife town. Richard Brittain tracked Paige Rolland down through her social media accounts and smashed a bottle of wine into her head. The blow from the glass bottle left her with a gash to her head for which she was treated in hospital. Yesterday, Mr Brittain pleaded guilty to assault at Glasgow Sheriff Court for the attack on October 3, 2014. In case you were wondering what the teen wrote that was so damning, a portion of the review reads; As a reader, I’m bored out of my skull and severely disappointed in what I might have paid for. As a writer (albeit an amateur one) I’m appalled that anyone would think this was worthy of money. The teen also added this bit about knowing Brittain has a history of threatening readers who don’t enjoy his work. Unfortunately, Mr. Brittain has gained a bit of infamy on Wattpad where he’s known for threatening users who don’t praise him (pray for me) and telling successfully published authors that they know nothing about the industry and are completely wrong in saying that writing rules must be followed in order to be successful. Court Docs Say Black Ink Star Hadn’t Paid Child Support For Nearly A Year Black Ink boss Caesar was arrested this week for ignoring a child support order that left him $15,000 in arrears, BOSSIP has learned. Caesar, real name David Emanuel, defied a January court order to pay his child’s mother, Crystal, weekly child support, according to court docs obtained by BOSSIP. The amount steadily crept up, and in September, a judge slapped a warrant and a default judgment on the tattoo artist for $14,016 in back child support. The debt is continuing to pile up, and of Nov. 10, the 36-year-old owed $15,151 in back child support. Cops arrested the entrepreneur at his Harlem shop on Monday, and he quickly posted the $2,500 bail. Both he and his baby mama are due back in New York family court next month. White Girl Drug Dealer Gets Called Adorabl Meet Sarah Furay. She’s a 19-year-old who was arrested essentially for being a massive drug kingpin. Here’s what she was arrested with: “31.5 grams of packaged cocaine, 126 grams of high grade marijuana, 29 ‘ecstasy’ tablets, methamphetamine and a 60 doses of a drug similar to LSD.” She also allegedly has digital scales, a handwritten list of inventory and incriminating texts about drug deals. Here are the charges she’s faced with: Because of the amount of marijuana police found, that charge is a state jail felony, which can garner up to two years in jail and $10,000 in fines. Furay also faces two first-degree felony charges and one second-degree felony charge for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. If convicted of the three charges, she can face a sentence of 215 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines. Yet and still, because of her pearly white smile and whitey white whiteness, people are calling her “adorable.”
Daycare Workers Fired For Refusing Transgender Child’s Name Two daycare workers are suing on the basis of discrimination, alleging that they were fired due to their Christian faith after refusing to recognize a transgender child’s new identity. Via MailOnline : Two Christian childcare workers who were fired after refusing to call a transgender six year old by a boy’s name are suing the center for discrimination. Madeline Kirksey and Akesha Bogany Wyatt were sacked from the Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center in Katy, Texas, a week ago after the pupil, who had attended school for four months as a girl, began identifying as a boy. According to Adam Taylor, Kirksey’s lawyer, the child’s parents – both of whom are male – took their daughter home on a Friday, and sent her back to school the following Monday as a boy. Taylor says the child’s hair had been cut into a masculine style, and the formerly female student had been given a more classically masculine name. However, Kirksey and Wyatt refused to go along with the name change, and said they felt uncomfortable speaking to other young children about transgender issues. Kirksey also apparently feels that the child’s gay parents are pushing their daughter into being transgender: Kirksey added that she feels the male parents of the student are forcing the issue of gender on to their child, which she disagrees with. Taylor said: ‘Madeline’s rights have been violated. Literally she was sacrificed on the alter of political correctness. “It is not just Madeline and it is not just this school that we are concerned about. We need to send a strong message that Christians need to push back on this agenda.” We understand people holding on to their own set of beliefs…but is it really this teacher’s place to grandstand on this child’s struggle? On the other hand, it doesn’t seem necessary to fire her for being uncooperative…surely the child could have been moved to another class. FoxNews
