According to TMZ reports : Trick Daddy has filed for bankruptcy because, according to him … he’s got next to ZERO money in the bank, and his baby mama bills keep piling up. The Miami rapper filed for Chapter 11 saying he’s got about $430k in assets – which sounds decent, except he’s also $645k in the red! Including: $34,837 child support to one mother, $22,282 to another, $290k in back taxes, and $280k for his first mortgage. Interestingly, Trick Daddy says he still makes about $14,500 a month — most of it off music publishing and club gigs — and doesn’t live a baller lifestyle. Hell, TD says he only has $550 in clothes and jewelry! So fiscally responsible. Outside of baby mamas and the IRS. Jeezy Releases A Letter To All His Fans Voicing His Concerns For the last week, Atlanta’s T-R-A-P-S-T-R, Young Jeezy, has been teasing fans with a cryptic Instagram post that displayed a countdown. A countdown to what? We had no idea, until today… I would like to take this time to address the Street Disciples and Congregation to express my concerns and frustrations on what’s going on in our communities all over the world today. With the poverty level at an all time high, it’s damn near impossible for one to take care of him or herself without the possibility of prison or death. You have law enforcement officials gunning down unarmed black men. You have misinformed young men gunning down unarmed women, children and men in churches, movie theaters and public events. There’s a war going on, but you have to ask yourself, who is the enemy? They ask why you black males are so militant? My answer to that would be because they are making us soldiers. Soldiers in a war on humanity. We have nothing to lose and everything to fight for. We are fighting for our people; we are fighting for our right to live. We die to claim our streets and hoods when we don’t own as much as a mail box. That tells me one thing – If we all were on the same page and had the same cause, there is nothing in the world we can’t change or make happen. They ask us why we hustle? To feed our families; to take care of our households; to pay our bills on time. Just like any other American. The only problem is there’s not enough jobs and opportunities for everyone. As a matter of fact, people are being laid off at an alarming rate. Black men getting out of prison try to turn over a new leaf in life, but are placed on parole so they are not able to find employment. They are forced to return to the only way they know to survive. That means sacrificing his freedom and life for his family’s survival. You may call him a criminal, a felon, a societal problem or all the above, but I see someone that is noble and honorable. I see a leader. Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King died for what they believed in; so did Bob Marley. They all have a cause and wanted to make a difference in this crazy world. When an individual would do anything for his or her community and the people in it, that is a Godly act. Not in the biblical sense, but in the sense of the word. We are all Gods in our own right. We all have the ability and the power to change the things around us. We all have the ability to affect lives; to raise our sons and daughters to become Kings and Queens; Leaders and Prophets. To make a difference on Earth while they are here. I know you may be reading this and thinking to yourself, why so dark? Why so sinister? When in fact, it is the exact opposite. Daughter Of Orlando Commissioner Dies Mysteriously The Orlando commissioner has lost her daughter to unknown causes just weeks after both her sons were arrested on drug charges . Via MailOnline : The daughter of Orlando Commissioner Regina Hill has died under mysterious circumstances. Arvonni DeBose, 24, was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after she was found at her home in Tallahassee need of medical assistance, and passed away later that day. The tragedy comes a little over a month after Hill’s two sons – Rakeem Hill, 27, and Omari Nembhard, 26 – were arrested in a raid on her home in Orange County in which police found methamphetamine, cannabis and cocaine. The Orlando Sentinel reports that police are referring to the incident as an ‘unattended death,’ meaning DeBose was healthy before she passed away. They are now interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence in an attempt to find out what happened to the young woman. An autopsy is also being conducted by the medical examiner. Hill was elected to office in May 2014 and has had a difficult year dealing with the arrest of her two sons. The two were found with 60 grams of meth, 37 grams of cocaine and 152 grams of marijuana as well as two semi-automatic firearms – one of which was stolen. They were charged with trafficking and both pleaded not guilty. Hill – who was not home at the time and denied any involvement – is not facing any charges. Nembhard’s 5-year-old daughter was also at the home during the raid, which came after authorities spent two months monitoring the house. What a sad and strange turn of events…
Texas Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth Gunned Down While Pumping Gas America…the land of shootings and senseless murders. Via CNN A man “believed to be the alleged gunman” in the killing of a uniformed Houston-area sheriff’s deputy was in custody and being questioned Saturday morning, Sgt. William Kennard of the Texas Department of Public Safety told CNN. No charges have been filed against the man, Kennard said. The man’s name wasn’t given. It was the man’s mother who called the Harris County Sheriff’s Department about her son, Kennard said. “All the information she had heard led to him.” A red pickup truck was parked at the spot where deputies took the person in custody, according to video shot by CNN affiliate KTRK. Authorities had said the suspect drove away from the shooting in a red Ford Ranger. The suspect shot Deputy Darren H. Goforth, 47, while the deputy was filling up his patrol car at a Chevron station just after 8:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. ET), Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said. “Deputy Goforth was refueling his vehicle and returning to his car from inside the convenience store when, unprovoked, a man walked up behind him and literally shot him to death.” Goforth was shot multiple times from behind and then fell to the ground, where the suspect shot the deputy multiple times again, said Deputy Thomas Gilliland, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
