Police Respond To Mass Shooting In Louisiana Movie Theater Another mass shooting seems to have taken place, this time inside a Lafayette, LA movie theater . Via CNN : Police in Lafayette, Louisiana, say they responded Thursday night to a report of a shooting at the Grand 16 Theatre. “We think the shooter is deceased,” Police Chief Jim Craft said, according to CNN affiliate KATC. “Right now we’re in the middle of sorting this out.” The shooting involved “multiple victims,” the police department tweeted. Police said they received the call about 7:30 p.m. CT. Todd Moffatt, manager of a Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant in the area, said 20 to 30 emergency vehicles had arrived on the scene. The area was locked down, he said. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal tweeted, “I’m on my way to Lafayette right now. Please say a prayer for the victims at Grand Theatre and their families.” So sad. Via Karen Civil : Congratulations are in order to Chance the Rapper who is about to become a father. Chano hit Instagram to share a picture of the mother of his future child’s stomach and his band with the simple message “Coming soon.” In case there was any question to whether the child was his or someone close to him, Pat the Manager offered congrats on Chance’s new journey and issues an “I love you!” message. LA Future Concert Shut Down Due To Large Crowds The #FutureHive is not to be played with ! Early today, throngs of Nayvadius’ disciples descended on The Roxy in LA for the last of Future’s 4 surprise shows that shut down Atlanta , Chicago, and New York. Via TMZ : Future is throwing a free concert at the Roxy in LA tonight and it’s not off to a smooth start because the cops just showed up … in riot gear. We’re told fans started lining at 9 AM, and the show doesn’t start till midnight. The trouble started around 1 PM, when wristbands were passed out for the 500 capacity room … everyone went wild. Cops got out their riot guns when people started pouring onto Sunset Blvd … smack in the middle of the Strip. The concert is the last of Future’s 4 free “Salute the Fans” shows. The show was eventually cancelled right at around 4pm Pacific time. The hive can’t be too happy about this! Hopefully Future will be able to make it up to them.

Quavo and Takeoff were asked to perform their hits “Hannah Montana,” “Handsome And Wealthy,” and “One Time” with some of the city’s best classical musicians. In interviews before the performance, the orchestra seemed pretty confused about what they’d been asked to do, and even had to dodge comparisons between Beethoven and Zaytoven.
