Stars Align for the Tribeca Film Festival

Created in 2002 as a response to the September 11 terror attacks in New York City, the Tribeca Film Festival is one of the most respected, popular events in the movie world. Its long-term mission is to assist in the recovery of Lower Manhattan, but its short-term goals are to premiere a slew of independent films and feature a number of panel discussions with stars, producers and directors. The festival brought out A-listers galore this weekend, from Cameron Diaz to Renee Zellweger to Alexander Skarsgard . Click around and get a closer look at those who attended the event below.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Both Suck… Literally!

It’s unclear why they were there, but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth visited a medical facility in Beverly Hills yesterday. We often joke about this pair (Sample: Why did Miley Cyrus cross the street? To get to Liam Hemsworth !), but we hope everything is okay for both of them. There was a positive result from the doctor’s appointment at least: it resulted in a pair of lollipops for the couple, as each is seen sucking away below: There’s even better news for Liam this week: reports indicate he’s been offered the role in Northern Lights that was originally given to Taylor Lautner before that actor dropped out. “The offer is true, but who knows if he’ll do it,” a source said about the film, which centers around a quartet of extreme-flying pilots. The holiest day on the Judeo-Christian calendar was the perfect opportunity to catch a whole lot of glimpses at celebrities with their families yesterday. Some, such as Gwen Stefani, are often seen out and about with their significant others and adorable babies. Others, such as David Arquette, aren’t exactly paparazzi regulars. Still, Easter is a time to hang with the family, give props to Jesus Christ for his resurrection and attend exclusive parties in Malibu. One of these shindigs was hosted by Katy Perry, who proved she has equal love for Jersey Shore and the Son of God.
