Miley Cyrus has responded to those who believe she totally dissed her religion on Twitter this week. A quick refresher: The actress quoted theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss on Sunday night, citing a long passage from the doctor about the scientific creation of the universe that included the line “Forget Jesus. Stars Died So You Could Live.” Many followers took major exception to the supposedly anti-Christian message. Now, Miley has shot back with a nuanced, mature, thoughtful response. “How can people take the love out of science and bring hate into religion so easily?” she wrote. “It makes me sad to think the world is this way. Like Einstein says ‘Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.'” Wow. Well said. Your move, critics. [Photo: WENN.com]

T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle will feature T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and their children for an inside look at the private and professional life of the Grammy-winning Atlanta artist. ” In this family documentary, you will see the challenges of raising children while balancing a career,” T.I. said in a VH1 press release. “It’s like a lot of families, only our home is in the spotlight.” T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle premieres on VH1  December 5th at 9pm. Actress Nia Long gave birth to a baby boy, Kez Sunday Udoka, this past Monday.  According to spokeswoman Priscilla Moralez “both mother and child are healthy and happy to be home.” Spend 24 Hours In Nia’s Hometown! The 41 year old actress has a 1o year old son, Massai Dorsey II from a previous relationship. This is the first child for Long’s partner, NBA player Ime Udoka.  In an interview with Ebony Magazine, Nia shared that her doctors were doubtful she could ever conceive another child due to her age, and turned inward for spiritual strength: “I honestly asked God for this. I remember I was driving home from the doctor, and I called [my boyfriend] Ime, and I was like, ‘Babe, I’m really kind of sad right now. The doctor actually said if I wanted to have more children, it would be hard.’ The next time [Ime] came to visit, he said, ‘I don’t believe that.’ I said, ‘You don’t?’ He said, ‘No.’ And I said, ‘Good, me neither.’ Then I got pregnant.” 2011 is turning out to be a banner year for Nia; in addition to her new bundle of joy, she enjoyed rave reviews earlier this year  as a loving Muslim mother in the indie hit Mooz-lum, as well as the recent announcement Universal Pictures gave the greenlight for a sequel to 1999′s The Best Man . Nia Long‘s baby is a blessing from God, the actress admitted to Ebony magazine in it’s November issue. The 40-year-old pregnant mom says she turned to faith when she was told she would have trouble conceiving at her age. “I honestly asked God for this. I remember I was driving home from the doctor, and I called [my boyfriend] Ime, and I was like, ‘Babe, I’m really kind of sad right now. The doctor actually said if I wanted to have more children, it would be hard.’ The next time [Ime] came to visit, he said, ‘I don’t believe that.’ I said, ‘You don’t?’ He said, ‘No.’ And I said, ‘Good, me neither.’ Then I got pregnant.” She hopes other aging women don’t get deterred either: “The medical [profession] tries to tell every woman, ‘Have your babies before 40 because you shouldn’t have children after 40.’ Society tells us, ‘Get married before 30, because no man wants a woman after 30.’ You are not half the woman you’re gonna be until you turn 30. You’re not even half of that woman yet. Morris returns from the doctor and tells his wife that the doctor has told him that he has only 24 hours to live. Given the prognosis, Morris asks his wife for sex. Naturally, she agrees, so they make love. About 6 hours later, the husband goes to his wife and says, 'Honey, you know I now have only 18 hours to live. Could we please do it one more time?' Of course, the wife agrees, and they do it again. Later, as the man gets into bed, he looks at his watch and realizes that he now has only 8 hours left. He touches his wife's shoulder and asks, 'Honey, please… just one more time before I die.' She says, 'Of course, Dear,' and they make love for the third time. After this session, the wife rolls over and falls to sleep. Morris, however, worried about his impending death, tosses and turns, until he's down to 4 more hours. He taps his wife, who rouses. Justin Bieber Postpones NY State Fair Show Due To Illness

By Gil Kaufman Justin Bieber Photo: Mark Von Holden/ Getty Images Justin Bieber may only be a 16-year-old pop star, but he usually has the stamina of a globe-trotting Olympic marathoner. Despite his superhuman ability to jet from one coast to the next on a weekly basis, however, even the Biebs gets taken low every once in a while. That was the case on Sunday, when Bieber was forced to cancel his concert at the New York State Fair in Syracuse due to illness. According to the fair’s website , Bieber bailed on his Sunday night show and rescheduled for Wednesday (September 1). Because of the switch, promoters were also forced to push Wednesday’s previously scheduled Bieber show at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, to December 9. On Friday, Bieber tweeted that he was psyched for the weekend’s shows but was not feeling well. “Next is Jersey, then Syracuse, then MSG in NYC for the 3D movie!!” he wrote that night. “Been super sick lately but u guys are carrying me. thank u for the love.” He was reportedly energetic during the show at New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Saturday night, though, showing no signs of the impending … Bieber fever. But on Sunday afternoon, Bieber’s enthusiasm had clearly been sapped a bit, when he posted the update , “really don’t know what to twitter … I’m getting rest right now and trying to recover from the not so good news from the doctor.” Though he didn’t mention that the Syracuse show had been canceled, he followed with a shout out to fans. “I’m gonna be OK just need 2 rest but I wanted all of u 2 know I never want to let any of u down. I really appreciate all the kind words.” The New York Daily News reported that the singer’s spokesperson vowed that Tuesday’s Madison Square Garden show will go on, which is good news for fans who were hoping to be part of the filming of the Bieber’s 3-D movie slated to take place at the concert. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Both Suck… Literally!

It’s unclear why they were there, but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth visited a medical facility in Beverly Hills yesterday. We often joke about this pair (Sample: Why did Miley Cyrus cross the street? To get to Liam Hemsworth !), but we hope everything is okay for both of them. There was a positive result from the doctor’s appointment at least: it resulted in a pair of lollipops for the couple, as each is seen sucking away below: There’s even better news for Liam this week: reports indicate he’s been offered the role in Northern Lights that was originally given to Taylor Lautner before that actor dropped out. “The offer is true, but who knows if he’ll do it,” a source said about the film, which centers around a quartet of extreme-flying pilots.
