Well, this is a one heckuva gosh darn surprise, you betcha! Last month we learned that Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer are back together after separating last year. Yesterday, it was announced that Bristol and Dakota are engaged (for the second time). And just moments ago, the happy couple revealed to the world that they’re married, via a joint statement issued to Entertainment Tonight : “Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be,” the Meyers wrote. “We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!” Well, we guess the heart wants what it wants. And sometimes it thinks it wants something, then it changes its mind, makes the other heart take a paternity test, and then decides that it does in fact want it wanted in the first place. Yes, to say Bristol and Dakota have endured a rocky road to the altar would be putting it very, very mildly. Bristol called off her wedding to Dakota just days before the couple was scheduled to exchange vows in May of last year. Interestingly, the couple’s families still gathered for what must have been one hell of an awkward barbecue in Kentucky on the day that the nuptials were supposed to take place. Sarah Palin was reportedly spotted screaming at Dakota at the shindig, leading many to believe the Marine Corps veteran had cheated on her daughter. Bristol and Dakota battled over custody of daughter Sailor Grace, and at one point, things got so ugly that Bristol forced Dakota to take a paternity test . Seriously. That’s one heck of a story to tell the grandkids. Amazing that it wasn’t the final chapter. According to reports that we find incredibly hard to believe, the couple grew close again during Meyer’s visits to Alaska to see his daughter. And today they dropped a wedding bombshell on us all. So … congrats? Maybe we’re just cynical, but we’re gonna hold out and see how this thing goes before we get too excited. Don’cha know.

Nick Menza, a musician best known as the drummer of Megadeth in the 1990s, died Saturday after reportedly collapsing on stage during a Los Angeles concert. He was 51 years old. According to CNN and other outlets, Menza was playing drums with his band OHM at The Baked Potato on Saturday night, May 21 when he suddenly collapsed during the third song of the set. Paramedics arrived on the scene, but were unable to revive him after trying for 45 minutes. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Here is what a statement by Menza’s management team said soon after the tragedy took place. “Nick collapsed during the third song into a set with his band OHM. “Earliest reports indicate he suffered a massive heart attack and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.” The Los Angeles venue itself was among the first to address the sad situation, writing, “RIP Nick Menza,” on its Facebook page. Upon learning of the news on Sunday morning, the band’s co-founder, Dave Muscatine, took to Twitter to mourn his former bandmate. “TELL ME THIS ISN’T TRUE!” he wrote. “I woke at 4 AM to hear Nick Menza passed away on 5/21 playing his drums w/Ohm at the Baked Potato. #nickmenzarip.” Former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman also jumped on media to grieve Menza’s passing. “We all know the great and unique drummer that Nick Menza was, but he was also a trustworthy friend, a hilarious bandmate, as well as a very loving dad,” he wrote, adding: “I’m beyond sad, did not see this coming at all. Longoria wore a white gown designed by BFF Victoria Beckham, who was in attendance with her husband David Beckham. The star-studded guest list also included Mario Lopez, Melanie Griffith and Ricky Martin. Longoria and Baston, who is the president of Latin-American media company Televisa, announced their engagement last December. The couple have been dating since 2013. According to TMZ insiders, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna aren’t merely engaged to be married on some indeterminate date in the future. They are engaged to be married within the year! Many details remain to be worked out, but sources tell the site that Rob and Blac will tie the knot at some point in the next 12 months. Moreover, despite what Chyna’s mom recently said , all of Rob’s siblings will be invited to the blessed event. As for where the wedding will take place? The controversial couple is yet to decide on a location, but the Little Vegas Chapel in Sin City is trying to attract the two some via a deal that includes two Elvises, two showgirls and a pink Cadillac convertible for pick up and drop off. Then there’s the Little White Wedding Chapel, where Britney Spears got married to Jason Alexander way back in the day. It has reportedly offered Kardashian and Chyna a helicopter ceremony above the strip and will even throw in ground transport with a 14-seat Hummer for the entire family. We really hope Rob and Chyna take one of these options, too. Because can you imagine how Kris Jenner would react if a child of hers got married in a Las Vegas chapel?!?
