In the wake of Whitney Houston’s death, most celebrities are reacting with nothing but condolences and kind words about the iconic singer. Some, however, are speaking out in more detail, with Celine Dion telling Good Morning America today that the celebrity culture itself bears some responsibility for Whitney’s demise. Tony Bennett, meanwhile, has taken a different, surprising tact. At Clive Davis’ annual Grammy Awards party, held just hours after Houston passed away, the legendary artist went off on a different topic. “First it was Michael Jackson, then Amy Winehouse, now, the magnificent Whitney Houston,” he said. “I’d like every person in this room to campaign to legalize drugs. Let’s legalize drugs like they did in Amsterdam. No one’s hiding or sneaking around corners to get it. They go to a doctor to get it.” Not sure if that would have saved any of the aforementioned lives, but it’s always an interesting debate. Where do you stand? Should America legalize drugs?
I never understood the obsession nerds (that means you) have with Emma Watson , but she does look cute in that little red dress. I thought I should post them for you so that you can put on your best Harry Potter costume and do whatever it is that wizards do to their neglected wands. Enjoy.
Michelle”Bombshell” McGee wants you to know that she is a “filthy wh%re”. I think we already knew that, but I fully respect a woman who doesn’t beat around the bush. I wish more girls would wear shirts, or get tattoos or do whatever it takes to let me know I can easily slip them the tuna. Anyway, here she is at some pillow fight event. Let’s hang and bang. I’m a wh%re too.
Please and Thank You! During a 1982 world tour, Van Halen, a famous rock band in the 80′s made the now-legendary demand that all brown M&Ms be removed from candy bowls in their dressing rooms. Ever since, fans and critics have made a hobby of finding celebrities’ often outlandish demand lists, called riders; for what venues must provide them during appearances. This week, Super Bowl bird-flipper M.I.A.’s tour rider leaked and it was full of fawkery! Buried among requests for Vitamin Water and European cheeses is the demand for “three women between the ages of 20 and 25 to dance on stage wearing full-body burqas.” So here’s a look back at ten of the most ridiculous items on other celebrity riders…
I’ve always found Naomi Watts pretty sexy, in a classy ‘I have an accent’ kind of way, so these pictures are right up my alley. You can tell a woman is naturally sexy when she looks good in a one-piece swimsuit, it’s not an easy look to pull off. The best thing about these kinds of bathing suit is that they have to come completely off when they go to the bathroom. I find that kinda hot for some reason. I wonder what dirty talk sounds like with an accent.

The Washington Post reports that Jay Z and Beyonce’ have filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect Blue Ivy ‘s name. The trademark will reserve her name for future use of items like “baby carriages, baby cosmetics and diaper bags.” Multiple applications for various trademarks of Blue Ivy’s name were submitted just days after her birth, so Jay and Bey were prompted by their legal team to trademark their daughter’s name. Fashion designer Joseph Mbeh submitted an application to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter NYC” on Jan. 11. Then on Jan. 20, another application for “Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV” was submitted, this time to be used to sell a line of fragrances. Both filings have since been denied. Officials have said since the name belongs to a “very famous infant” that consumers would falsely assume any products with her name were approved by the celebrity parents.

This Resistance involves self-improvement, self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and spiritual growth.
