MTV Movie Awards 2010: Everyone Twies Hard

You can’t fault last night’s MTV Movie Awards for a lack of effort: Enough awards were thrown at New Moon to incite ecstatic middle-school bloodletting, Betty White razzed Sandra Bullock, and Katy Perry’s tan decolletage looked just like DJ Pauly D’s ass. Everyone felt festive! But with lukewarm host Aziz Ansari leading the show and dubious winners filling the two-hour ceremony, MTV’ s annual romp felt ho-hum and spastic. Impressive, sort of. Time to figure out this mess and conclude with a full list of the night’s winners.

WELCOME (BACK) TO THE SPOTLIGHT Alison Berns is back in the spotlight. You may or may not remember Alison as radio personality Howard Stern's ex-wife. Berns has made her way back into the headlines since her ex-hubby tied the knot to Beth Ostrosky in New York City on Friday night. Howard and Alison were married for 23 years and have three children together. Alison Berns took a stab at acting in Stern's 1997 biographical film “Private Parts” directed by Betty Thomas from a script by Len Blum and Michael Kalesniko.

Howard Stern and girlfriend Beth Ostrosky got married last night , October 3 in New York City. The Howard Stern wedding ceremony took place at Le Cirque, a NYC restaurant. Guests at the Beth Ostrosky/Howard Stern wedding included Robin Quivers, Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman. Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, officiated the wedding ceremony, while Billy Joel sang two songs and Chevy Chase offered up some words for the newly married couple.

Howard Stern and his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky were married in New York City Friday evening. The guest list for the wedding, hosted at the restaurant Le Cirque, included celebs Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee, Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman and Stern's radio co-host, Robin Quivers. Mark Consuelos officiated the ceremony and attended with wife, Kelly Ripa. Billy Joel sang two songs, and Chevy Chase delivered a raunchy roast. In March, Beth said they decided to change their wedding plans from getting married in the Hamptons to a city wedding with their friends in a restaurant so it would be very low-key. Howard proposed to Beth last year on Valentine's Day with a 5.2 carat diamond ring saying, “I love you. You're everything to me. I'm asking you to spend the rest of your life with me.”

Sandra Bullock Is Asked To Return Razzie Statue

The co-founder of the Razzie Awards, John Wilson, has appealed to the media to ask Sandra Bullock to return the award which she had won last month for Worst Actress. According to Wilson, they are ready to take the new step of asking a winner to return a Razzie. It has nothing to do with what’s happening to Sandra’s personal life, the judges only wanted the actual trophy back. During the ceremony, it seemed that they got so caught up in the moment that instead of giving the actress the intentionally cheap, spray-painted replica of the award costs only $4.79 that all winners receive, the Razzie organizers unknowingly handed Bullock the original 30-year-old trophy. Wilson explained that during that time, Bullock was in such a rush that after winning the Worst Actress she ran off bringing with her the original handmade prototype which has been used and presented at ceremonies since 1980s. However, Wilson didn’t ask Bullock to return the award personally because he wants to respect the privacy of the actress amid the recent marital troubles she’s into right now.
