Michael Jackson Joins Hall of Fame

Michael Jackson is to be inducted into the hall of fame at the Apollo Theatre in New York. July of 2009, thousands of Jackson fans remembered the pop singer at a memorial event at the theatre, where The Jackson Five first performed in 1967. Jackson and his brothers had won the Apollo’s Amateur Night contest, an achievement that was credited with launching their career. Aretha Franklin is best known for hits including “I Knew You Wee Waiting (For Me) and Respect. She is going to join the ceremony at the Harlem theatre on June 14. She will also be inducted into the hall of fame at the Apollo Theatre in New York. In the ceremony, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez together with her husband Marc Anthony will be presented with the theatre’s art and humanitarian award. Miley Not Taking Liam To The Show

They may be dating but seems Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth aren’t joined at the hip. Miley will not be taking her Aussie BF to the Oscars with her. Cyrus 17, has been dating the 20-year-old actor since they met on the set of their new movie The Last Song but have both decided not to go to the ceremony in LA together.

Kate Winslet Keeps Oscar In The Bathroom

Actress Kate Winsle t has said she keeps her Oscar in the bathroom after winning the gong last year. Winslet, 34, picked up the Best Actress award at the ceremony last year for her role in The Reader. She said that she keeps it there so guests ‘can sneakily have a little [hold] and put it back down again’. Talking about putting it there, she said: “Because basically everybody wants to touch it, everybody wants to hold it and go ‘Oh, my gosh,’ and ‘How heavy is it?’ “So I figured if I put it [in there], then people can avoid the whole ‘Where’s your Oscar?’ thing.”

Andrew Shue and Amy Robach: Married!

Congratulations are in order for Andrew Shue and Amy Robach. The former Melrose Place star and the Weekend Today anchor were married Saturday afternoon in New York City. The paid met last April at a book party and got engaged in September. They tied the know The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, which looks over the Hudson River.
