With $6.4 million at stake for UNICEF, some of the world’s best footballers faced off in England over the weekend with some of the sport’s most enthusiastic celebrity hobbyists. The good news: Charity won big! The bad news: Celebrities did not, with one even landing in the hospital. The annual Soccer Aid benefit packed Old Trafford, the home of the Manchester United, where the team from England beat the “Rest of the World” team — comprising the likes of Will Ferrell, Edward Norton, Mike Myers, Gerard Butler, James McAvoy, Woody Harrelson and shouty TV chef Gordon Ramsay — by a score of 3-1. And since no soccer tilt would ever be complete without some poor bastard writhing on the pitch in hyperdramatic anguish, this match was no different — at least until, in the second half, things got really ugly : Ferrell limped off the field in considerable pain with a leg injury late in Sunday’s annual Soccer Aid game at Manchester United’s Old Trafford but will have counted himself more fortunate than Ramsay, who earlier was hospitalized following a heavy challenge. The foul-mouthed Hell’s Kitchen star was stretchered off the field while receiving oxygen, after being flattened by former England international Teddy Sheringham midway through the second half. On this week’s Celebrity Apprentice, tensions ran high on the women’s team after the dramatic firing of Tia Carrere for her failings on the previous task. Sunday’s task was throwing a party for Crystal Light’s new mock-tinis, and though the men’s team members admittedly don’t like to party, they got the job done here. More details have been released about the alleged friction between Khloe Kardashian-Odom and hubby Lamar Odom and it seems she hasn’t been as supportive as we may have thought. KHLOE KARDASHIAN’s marriage to NBA star LAMAR ODOM is on the rocks because he’s blaming her for causing problems with his new basketball family. Lamar, 32, has been struggling on the court since he was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks late last year. And making matters worse, sources say he and Khloe are fighting over her refusal to socialize with his teammates and their wives. According to a close source, an angry Lamar snapped at Khloe: “You have your own agenda! Everyone believes you think you’re too good for them!” The source went on to explain: “The Mavericks won the NBA championship last year, and their biggest change this season was bringing in Lamar. He hasn’t played well and the whole team is floundering, so the last thing he needs is for Khloe to act like a diva.” The 27-year-old reality show star reportedly got off on the wrong foot with the players’ wives and girlfriends. The reports are true: Demi Moore is out of rehab and now safely back in Los Angeles. TMZ was the first site to post a photo of the actress touching down in California yesterday, as she was spotted exiting a plan, donning a white top and shorts and looking healthier than she has in weeks. The actress left rehab in Utah last week and reportedly took off with close friend Eric Buterbaugh for Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos. It’s unclear what the future holds for Moore, both personally and professionally, as she dropped out of a Linda Lovelace biopic shortly after being rushed to the hospital on January 23. “She knows she’s in a bad place and needs help,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “She needed something serious to get her back on track.”
