‘I love the effect she has on people,’ KStew tells MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: Universal Despite their obvious differences both onscreen and off, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron have formed a bond during the filming of “Snow White and the Huntsman” and even more so during the current press tour in support of the film. When MTV News caught up with Stewart recently, we asked her to compare the familiar scenario of doing interviews with her longtime “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner versus her new castmate, the lovely Ms. Theron. “When Rob, Taylor and I do interviews together, they usually don’t actually ask us anything. We just get to hang out and people like to watch that,” Stewart said with a laugh. “It’s fine, because I like hanging out with those guys, but it is weird. With Charlize, it’s been great, because we’re so proud of the movie and we actually only worked together for three days, so we got to know each other probably more or at least on a certain level during press, and it’s been nice. It’s been fun.” Stewart said she especially admires Theron’s ability to light up a room with her energy and humor. “Some people intimidate you. Some people’s energy is so big you feel like you don’t fit in the room, but with her, I really appreciate how different we are. I love the effect she has on people,” Stewart said. “I find it hilarious. I love watching it happen. I do not have that. Maybe I have something else, but it’s definitely not as visceral. Also, she’s really hilarious,” she added, noting that the Oscar winner uses the more colorful swear words with particular aplomb. “[She] puts me to shame, to be honest,” Stewart said. Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is pointedly criticizing President Barack Obama’s recent endorsement of gay marriage , calling it offensive to his religion. In an interview, the religious Pacquiao said that Obama’s view was nothing more than a direct attack on the morals of society and the will of God. “God only expects man and woman to be together and to be legally married, only if they so are in love with each other,” Manny Pacquiao said . “It should not be of the same sex so as to adulterate the altar of matrimony, like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah of old,” he added, citing the Bible. He described same-sex marriage as an “abomination” and went on to say that America should be the model of morality for other countries to emulate. Recently voted Forbes ‘ fourth most influential athlete, the World Boxing Organization welterweight champion is regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet, and already has a burgeoning career out of the ring. He is a member of the Philippines legislature, hosts a weekly TV game show and has his own vegetable business. Manny Pacquiao also hopes to become a leading Christian evangelist after having a religious “awakening.” Last week, Obama became the first U.S. president to publicly back gay marriage. Many politicians, pundits and stars have weighed in – Jay-Z praised Obama Monday, while Bristol Palin ripped him last week – but members of the sporting community have been largely silent until Pacquiao’s condemnation. Your take: Same-sex marriage … [Photos: WENN.com]

Here’s just what you need to keep that Prometheus mania going: A batch of fantastic Prometheus photos and stills featuring Charlize Theron , Michael Fassbender , Noomi Rapace , Logan Marshall-Green , and others from the cast in their spiffy (and skin-tight) Prometheus space suits. It’s a space suit party! Oh, the laughs Charlize and Fassy and Noomi share when they’re not on set staring ominously into the distant at unknown horrors, or resting those space helmets on those sassy hips. The adorbs moment below comes from an exclusive photo shoot for EW’s May 11 issue, which includes great looks from the set along with in-character portraits of the cast. Thankfully (?) these photos don’t seem to give away any spoilers, so you can click through to your heart’s delight and take notes for crafting your own homemade Prometheus Halloween costumes. But seriously, Hollywood: What is the deal with all these micro-textured hero costumes? Oh, nevermind. These space suits are pretty sick. Love the futuristic-retro take on classic space-age design. Can’t wait to see if space-chic catches on this summer. Head to EW for the full batch of photos. Prometheus hits theaters on June 8. [via EW ]
‘MTV First’ shares exclusive preview of epic showdown. By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: Universal An exclusive, never-before-seen clip from the upcoming film ” Snow White and the Huntsman ” kicked off “MTV First” by teasing an epic showdown between Kristen Stewart ‘s titular princess and Charlize Theron ‘s Evil Queen Ravenna. As thrilling as the sneak preview might have been, it left fans dying to know what happens when the two enemies finally do square off when the film hits theaters June 1. The clip does give a little more insight into the beef between Ravenna and Snow White: Obviously, the Queen wants to be fairest of them all, but the death of Snow White’s father certainly adds an emotional element to the bout. In the scene, we learn that the Queen is responsible. When MTV News’ Josh Horowitz spoke with Theron at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in January, the Academy Award-winning actress seemed impressed with her co-stars fighting spirit. “She was a good fight,” Theron shared. “The bitch brought it!” Even though Theron was able to put up a fight against Stewart, she was no match for her unwieldy costumes , which might have done more damage. “The costumes were more damaging than the actual fight sequences,” she explained. “I was way more bruised from my costume than I was from [fighting]. Doing a fight sequence in your sweatpants is different than wearing an 80-pound steel thing.” At the very least, Theron could commiserate with her co-star. “[Stewart] was in full metal, I was in full metal, just getting down, it took us four hours,” Theron said.
