See Charlize Theron Hungover in the Poster For Young Adult

Last week during Movieline’s Fall Preview , we repeatedly named Young Adult as one of our most anticipated autumn films. The Jason Reitman/ Diablo Cody collaboration stars Charlize Theron as a teen-lit author who returns to her hometown to reclaim her happily married high school crush (Patrick Wilson). And judging by the movie’s first poster, that hometown mission does not go so well.

Diablo Cody Shares Her 3 Most Anticipated Films of Fall with Movieline!

Diablo Cody has her own movie to anticipate with the release of her third feature Young Adult this December (featuring a thoroughly unamused Charlize Theron ), but the Academy Award winner took time out tell Movieline which three films she most looks forward to seeing. What will make the cut? The Iron Lady ? Carnage ? A Dangerous Method ? Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip Wrecked ? Click through for her adroit (and quite cheeky) observations.

Charlize — who is currently single after separating from actor Ryan Reynolds in August after a brief two-month romance — told Germany’s In Touch magazine: “I want a baby. If it would happen tomorrow I would still be very happy about it.” Charlize is also open to the idea of adopting a child and thinks she good provide a wonderful home to a disadvantaged youngster. Kristen Stewart Is ‘Gorgeous,’ Other ‘Snow White’ Director Says

‘Nobody’s backed off,’ Tarsem tells MTV News of competing ‘Snow White’ projects. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart as “Snow White” Photo: Universal In one corner of the fairy tale-meets-Hollywood world, there is Kristen Stewart and mighty Universal Pictures. In the other, there is Julia Roberts and upstart Relativity Pictures. Both sides are pushing forward with “Snow White” adaptations . Only one can boast of having, in Stewart, one of the biggest young names in the business. But the director of the other “Snow White,” Tarsem , not only isn’t worried, but paid Stewart a high compliment when we caught up with him at San Diego Comic-Con. “She’s gorgeous,” he told us, adding that he’d only seen her onscreen work in David Fincher’s “Panic Room.” “She’s great.” For his Snow White, Tarsem cast up-and-comer Lily Collins, looping her into a production that has already kicked off and which will hit theaters months ahead of Stewart’s in 2012. “For me, when I looked at it, I thought there’s only room for one of these,” he explained of the two competing films. “And it looks like there’s more. Nobody’s backed off. I just know that we were ready so much earlier. And thank God for Julia, because when she came in, I got everything my way.” While we have seen photos of Stewart , as well as co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Charlize Theron, in “Snow White and the Huntsman,” thus far from Tarsem’s film, we’ve only seen Collins in character . So what type of evil queen will Roberts end up being? “A mixed-up queen,” Tarsem told us. “I don’t know how to do for the ‘now you shall’ kind of person. For me, [it’s] the personality of a person who looks into the mirror and does all the evil deeds she needs to do. Like serial killers, you outsource your evil: The devil made me do it or I hear voices. It’s kind of one of those people. She does what she does, but she thinks it comes from a place where the person in the mirror tells it to her.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Brothers Grimm: Snow White.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .

Talkback: Which Actors Should Play Opposite Themselves?

I keep eying the news of Jesse Eisenberg’s dual role in Richard Ayoade’s next movie The Double , based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novella, with excitement about people who aren’t even involved with the project. If The Double , about “a Russian government clerk whose life unravels after what he believes is a literal facsimile of himself — same appearance, same name, same hometown — begins working in his office,” is a hit, will it popularize the idea of other actors playing dual roles? And who would we want to see act against his/her own mirror image?
