The singers are “determined to have a child together,” an insider says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, expounding a bit on the topic with this quote: “They are in the final stages of choosing the woman who will carry their baby. It’s extremely important to Gwen that she give Blake a biological child, and Blake is so excited.” Stefani is 49 years old and has three kids from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale. This source says she and Shelton would go the surrogate route in order to procreate, noting that Blake “wants his own child too.” Stefani shares sons Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10 and Apollo, 4, with ex-husband Rossdale. She and Shelton started dating nearly three years ago at this point, following her divorce and Shelton’s split in 2015 from then-wife Miranda Lambert. It seemed like a very cute little fling at the time; like two popular and attractive musicians getting together because each was suddenly single. Among Toback’s accusers are Rachel McAdams and Selma Blair, who are bravely sharing their harrowing stories. In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal , more and more people in Hollywood are sharing their #MeToo stories and feeling brave enough to speak up, and shatter the culture of silence. One of the men accused of perpetrating a pattern of sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry is an Oscar-nominated director. According to the initial allegations, James Toback uses similar tactics on different women. He allegedly approaches young women if they aren’t sent to him and promises to boost their careers, citing what he did for Robert Downey Jr. Once alone in a place like a hotel room, he reportedly becomes inappropriate, all under the guise of it just being part of the entertainment business. He would reportedly try things like humping women’s legs, masturbating in front of them, and ask them unacceptable questions. (In particular, based upon the accusations, he seems obsessed with talking about masturbation and fixated on women’s pubic hair) The issue, of course, is that none of this was consensual. These aren’t accusations of weird dates , these are accusations that he used the false pretense of work-related meetings to lure women to him, where he would then ambush them and coerce them — successfully or not — into playing their role in his twisted fantasies. All of that is enough to turn your stomach, but there’s more. As we said, hundreds of women have now reached out to say that they had experiences like those described with James Tomack. And two big-name actresses, Rachel McAdams and Selma Blair, are sharing their stories with Vanity Fair . Selma Blair says that she met with him to discuss Harvard Man , at a time when Selma Blair had filmed her famous role in Cruel Intentions but the film had not yet been released. After Toback apparently refused to leave his hotel room to meet her in the restaurant, Selma went up to meet him. She describes how uncomfortable she became. “He said, ‘Where are your parents?’ I was thinking, ‘Why is he trying to make me feel so uncomfortable?’ But I realize now he was really trying to figure out what support system I had. I answered him. My mother was in Michigan, and I had an estranged relationship with my father.” Meaning no family support network in town to speak of. “James said, ‘You know, I could have him killed.’ He sat back in his chair and said really confidently, ‘I do it all the time. I know people.'” That’s scary … and it will come up again. “It was about 40 minutes in and he said, ‘Will you trust me? I cannot continue to work with you unless you trust me.’ He said, ‘I need you to take your clothes off. I need you to do this monologue naked.'” As ridiculous as that sounds, Selma was thoroughly intimidated at this point and ended up caving to his request. She says that then, of course, he started rubbing himself through his clothes … and asking if she would have sex with him. She declined, but he didn’t seem impressed by her refusal. “I felt trapped. I did not know how to get out and save face and not make a scene. Was I imagining it? He dropped some names [of actresses] that he did some really dark sexual things with.” And there was an implied threat in that. “These felt like lies and dark gossip and that he would add my name to the list. I went to leave and he got up and blocked the door. He said, ‘You have to do this for me. You cannot leave until I have release.'” “He said, ‘It’s O.K. I can come in my pants. I have to rub up against your leg. You have to pinch my nipples. And you have to look into my eyes.’ I thought, ‘Well, if I can get out of here without being raped …'” No one should ever be put into this position. “He walked me back to the bed. He sat me down. There have been many losers to come out of the 2016 Presidential Election. Most specifically, Donald Trump and… well… anyone who continues to stand up for Donald Trump. But there’s been one clear winner from the past several months of campaigning; and we’re not even talking about Hillary Clinton, no matter what is likely to transpire on November 8. We’re talking about Megyn Kelly. Kelly called Trump out on his misogyny from the very beginning. All those people who acted shocked and appalled over what Trump said to Billy Bush in that notorious Access Hollywood video? All those politicians who came out and castigated Trump for his demeaning words about women and his implied sexual assault? Please. Literally, the very first question asked of Trump at a Republican Primary Debate was over the way he has treated women and talked about women in the past. And that question was asked by Kelly. From there, of course, Trump slammed Kelly at every turn, even questioning at one point whether or not she was on her period at the debate. Really. He said that. So this brings us to Tuesday night and Kelly having Newt Gingrich on her Fox News program as a guest. The former Speaker of the House took issue with the way Kelly and other members of the media have been covering the campaign, arguing that too much time has been spent focusing on Trump’s sexual harassment allegations. The tension-filled segment started with Kelly explaining why Trump is behind in the polls, citing that 2005 Access Hollywood tape and Trump lashing out at nearly every woman who has made allegations about him. People have a right to hear those charges, she argues in the footage below. Megyn Kelly vs. Newt Gingrich “I’m sick and tired of people like you using language that’s inflammatory that’s not true!” Gingrich blew up, referring to the term sexual predator being applied to Trump. “When you use the words, you took a position. And I think it’s very unfair of you to do that, Megyn!” Gingrich said. To which Kelly calmly replied: “Your defensiveness on this may speak volumes, sir.” At one point, after Kelly acknowledged that Bill Clinton has an unsavory history with women and that her show has covered it in detail, Gingrich snapped as follows: “You wanna go back through the tapes of your show recently? You are fascinated with sex and you don’t care about public policy!” It’s worth watching the video above just to see Kelly’s priceless response to this accusation. After Gingrich continued to sound like a little child, challenging Kelly to say the words “Bill Clinton sexual predator,” the host somehow kept her chill demeanor and ended the segment by politely saying: “You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them.” It. Ever since the world learned that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are dating , fans have been pushing them to get married and make babies with the urgency of a terminally bored grandmother. Rumors about Gwen and Blake getting married began circulating pretty immediately. Not surprisingly, Stefani pregnancy rumors followed shortly thereafter. We’re not sure why there’s been such a push for Blake to put a baby in Gwen, as she’s 47 and already has three kids, but the fans want it, and supposedly Blake wants it too. Of course, he hasn’t really said much on the topic. The 4 million Gwake stans who have changed their profile pics to photos of the couple and live-tweet The Voice like its a presidential debate seem pretty convinced that Gwen’s vagina shall deliver unto us a chosen one to lead us from the darkness. Thus, the Gwake-child talk continues … but with a twist: “They will absolutely pursue adoption,” a source close to the couple tells Life & Style. “It might be a baby, or it might be a toddler. But no matter what, they want a little girl in their arms by the end of 2017.” Psssht … adopting babies and toddlers is so passe. We say adopt a 23-year-old grad student and pay off his student loans. That’s the future, y’all! And it would be a perfect arrangement for Gwen and Blake. They can both remain devoted to their careers, and Blake can take the kid out to pound some Bud Heavies on the weekend, but they’ll still get all the satisfaction of attending his graduation and being like: “We did that! Us! As a couple!” Anyway, if there’s any truth to these rumors, then you can take them as a pretty sure indication that Gwen and Blake are planning to get hitched in the very near future. After all, why would they pick an arbitrary date like “the end of 2017” unless they were planning to be man and wife by then?
