It’s been a tough stretch for Lamar Odom, but might the beleaguered former athlete find solace and comfort with some familiar faces? According to insiders, Khloe is filing for divorce from the former NBA star, but he may still be welcomed back into the Kardashian fold: In Rob and Blac Chyna’s guest bedroom! Odom is reportedly beyond “furious” with his estranged wife Khloe, for what he’s describing as a string of broken promises about reconciliation. He’s always been tight with Rob, though. One can understand why recurring reports that Lamar Odom is back on crack (among other things) permanently shook Khloe’s trust. Khloe and Rob have been estranged themselves, of course, for a number of reasons – not the least of which is his romance with Blac. So perhaps it’s not surprising that he would swoop in to save Lamar. Rob, after all, “knows what it’s like” to be at “rock bottom,” a source says. “[He] doesn’t want Lamar to get there. Rob has secretly seen [Lamar] several times [and] has begged Lamar to come and live with him.” Will the NBA champ accept that offer? According to their insider, “Lamar refused, saying he doesn’t want to burden Rob and Chyna,” given that the engaged couple is expecting. Rob thinks that’s just a lame excuse. As for how Chyna feels about this? Let’s just say she has mixed feelings: “It’s unclear how the bride-to-be feels about Lamar Odom moving into the home they just purchased.” “With the pregnancy and [Blac and Rob’s] upcoming wedding, it seems the busy reality star would be facing a tremendous responsibility.” Not because she doesn’t want to help Odom, but by taking him in, Rob would be “obligating himself to helping Lamar get on the right track.” Regardless of how bogus this story is, that’s a great point; Rob’s had a hard enough time working on himself, let alone a mess like Lamar. Of course, it would make for a great Rob and Chyna reality show storyline to have Odom crashing on the couch like Rob did in the old daze. Black Girlfriend of White Ex-Cop Fired For Racism Tries To Help Him Get His Job Back We’re not sure whether to file this one under being incredibly forgiving, dumbstruck by love or just plain ol’ swirlin’ while self hating … CBS Miami is reporting on Jason Holding, one of f our Ft. Lauderdale cops who were fired last year after being caught in a racist text message scandal, who is now trying to get his job back by bringing his black girlfriend to testify on his behalf at an arbitration hearing. “There are people that make mistakes. There are people that say things that they didn’t mean,” said Perpetua Michel, who said she has known Holding for about four years, and they became an item about a year ago, after the allegations against him surfaced. Michel continued, “He’s a cop, he shouldn’t have said that word, correct.” She added that she doesn’t believe Holding used the “N” word in a hateful way. She wasn’t the only one to get emotional on the stand. Holding’s voice cracked and his parents were in tears in the hearing room as he apologized for the messages: “I am not a racist, I have never been a fascist, I’ll never be a racist,” Holding said. Holding said he became “numb” to the use of racial slurs because he heard them constantly from the black community, black officers and white officers. “That is not who I am,” Holding said. Holding was fired in 2015 along with police officers Chris Sousa and James Wells; the fourth officer, Alex Alvarez, resigned. Holding is likely fighting an uphill battle as Wells had his bid for reinstatement refused by an arbitrator in February. CBS Miami

O.J. Simpson Trial Juror Admits Not Guilty Verdict Was “Payback” Ezra Edelman’s five-part ESPN 30 for 30 documentary “”O.J.: Made In America” examines the long history of police brutality against Blacks in Los Angeles, including the Rodney King beating — wherein 4 officers beat an unarmed driver nearly to death, eventually to each be found not guilty of any crime. In part 5 of the documentary, O.J. Trial Juror Carrie Bess admits that she and about 90% of the other jurors were somewhat looking for payback for the mega controversial Rodney King not guilty verdict from three years earlier. In a clip previewed on public radio show “Fresh Air” earlier today, Bess let it be known that the LAPD’s dirty dealings were at the forefront of jurors’ minds as they deliberated the details of O.J.’s case : Interviewer: Do you think there are members of the jury that voted to acquit OJ because of Rodney King?Bess: Yes. Interviewer: You do? Bess: Yes. Interviewer: How many of you do you think felt that way? Bess: Oh, probably 90 percent of them. Interviewer: 90 percent. Did you feel that way? Bess: Yes. Interviewer: That was payback. Bess: Uh-huh. Interviewer: Do you think that’s right? To this question, Bess simply tosses her hands up in the air. Since pretty much EVERYONE is clear that O.J. more than likely committed the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, do you think the jurors were wrong for seeking the only vengeance they felt Black Americans could get at the time through this controversial case?? Leave it to Lin-Manuel Miranda to find a powerful, unique way to honors those killed in the Orlando shooting early Sunday morning. The creator and star of Hamilton, which dominated the 2016 Tony Awards last night, made a powerful statement while accepting the Tony Award for Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre category. It was written in sonnet form and it opened by thanking his wife, before Miranda moved on to paying tribute to the 50 victims who were killed inside a gay nightclub . “We chase the melodies that seem to find us until they’re finished songs and start to play,” Miranda said. “When senseless acts of tragedy remind us that nothing here is promised, not one day.” He later added: Love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love cannot be killed or swept aside. “I hadn’t written anything going into today. I hadn’t heard about the day’s events until after our Tony rehearsal,” Miranda said backstage after the ceremony, during which Hamilton won 11 awards including best musical. “I’d always had this time between rehearsal and tonight to think about what I’d say if I was lucky enough to be called up, and it sort of informed all of it… “We live in this world where beautiful and horrible things exist at the same time and often on the same day. … Theater doesn’t exist without the LGBTQ community. It’s the cornerstone of our industry.” Earlier in the Tony Awards, host James Corden also honored the victims of the Orlando shooting. “Hate will never win,” he remarked in pre-taped remarks before the event began. George Zimmerman Accepts $250,000 For Trayvon Martin Murder Weapon As if it wasn’t bad enough that some sicko actually wanted to give George Zimmerman hundreds of thousands of dollars to own the weapon he killed a child with in cold blood …now it turns out there’s an even higher bidder. Apparently right after Zimmerman sold the gun off, another, possibly even sicker individual came forward to offer the murderer $100,000 more than his previous sale. Via TMZ : George Zimmerman will now make $100,000 more than anticipated for the sale of the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin — because he got a much bigger offer for the 9 mm weapon. Zimmerman had reached a deal with a Florida bar owner to sell it Friday for $150k — but at the last minute Zimmerman pulled the plug when he found out someone else was offering $250k. Sources connected to Zimmerman tell us a female bidder contacted his attorney Thursday to make a deposit. Zimmerman initially didn’t take the offer seriously, but we’re told her funds were verified before the auction ended. We’re told it’s now a done deal at the $250k price tag. Still unclear if the purchaser will remain anonymous. There’s definitely a special place in hell waiting on this guy…so hopefully he enjoys the money. SMH. Splash

Remember when we told you that Blac Chyna and her fiancee Rob Kardashian were fielding rumors that they’re having a boy because of the emojis on Chyna’s Chymoji app??? Well the mommy to be is responding to the rumors and confirming whether or not her gut full of Rob Kardashian is a bouncing baby boy. E! News reports:   E! News previously learned that the couple knows the sex of the baby but are keeping it close to the vest for now, but after taking a careful look at the options in her ChyMoji app, we thought she could be hinting that they’re having a baby boy—given the amount of blue in her maternity animations. B ut Blac told Zuri that her ChyMojis weren’t meant to be anything suggestive. “I have both boy and girl things on there,” she explained, adding that she wanted her options “to go both ways” so users could pick the color that works for them.
