Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera Launch JASH YouTube Channel at SXSW

Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim and Eric (from Tim & Eric Awesome Show) and Reggie Watts have launched a new, Google-funded YouTube channel, JASH. Each of them will get their own section within the channel where they have creative control as well as production and editing equipment at their disposal. The channel’s name, “JASH,” stands for “Just Attitude So Hey.” JASH The channel is one of 60 Original Channels that are essentially a blank check to each individual or group, funded by Google, YouTube’s parent company. JASH debuted at the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference with a five-minute video jokingly explaining that its purpose is to replace all YouTube videos. Silverman told The Hollywood Reporter: “This [JASH] is what we think is funny. It may not be your cup of tea, but there’s no testing involved, there’s no second-guessing of what a 14-year-old boy would like.” “It’s just a place to do stuff and fail or not fail.” Cera added, “it’s about quality over quantity.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt on Breasts: These Things Are Worth $5 Million!

Jennifer Love Hewitt, who appeared last night in The Client List Season 2 premiere, says she’d consider getting an insurance policy on her breasts for $5 million. Her male fans might even say that estimate is conservative. “I need, like, an insurance invitation. If somebody was like, ‘You know what? We would like to insure your boobs.’ I’d be like, ‘Do it. Love it! Why not?'” she told USA Today. “Yeah, these things right here are worth $5 million!” The actress, who plays a wife who moonlights giving happy endings and more at her local day spa, said her grandmother pokes fun at her for her role. “My [86-year-old] grandmother loves to call me the TV ho,” laughed Hewitt. “She thinks it’s hysterical… and it’s so disturbing, since she says it really loud.” “I get to rub abs for a living. I never thought that that would be my job, so that’s exciting. It’s a hard job, but somebody has to do it, and I’m glad it’s me.” In real life, though, she’s nothing like the cleavage-baring, sex-slinging character. “I’m a soft cozy T-shirt and tank top and big baggy sweatpants girl,” she said.

Chris Brown ‘s girlfriend admits to Elle UK that her inappropriate photos on Instagram have resulted in more than her share of criticism from mom. “She called me two days ago and reeled me in about two naked pics [my friend] Melissa put on Instagram, a sneak peek from a photo book she’s making about me.” “I’m not afraid of any person in this world but my mother, I’m terrified of her!” “She went crazy on me, I was like, embarrassed,” Rihanna continued. “I felt like I got my a– whipped in front of my class at school! She humbled the f–k out of me.” Photos of Rihanna nude – or darn close, in skimpy bikinis, thongs, risque tops, etc. – are a dime a dozen, so Monica has had plenty of occasions to lash out. Earthquake in Southern California Registers 5.1 Magnitude, Rumbles Region

A moderate-magnitude earthquake rolled through a wide swath of Southern California Monday morning but there were no immediate reports of major damage. The 9:55 a.m. quake reached an estimated magnitude of 4.7-5.1, according to the California Institute of Technology’s seismological laboratory. A number of aftershocks also occurred. The epicenter was about a dozen miles from the desert town of Anza, about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles and was felt sharply in the local area. A swaying or rolling motion rippled across the state , with reports of the earthquake being felt by many residents of both Los Angeles and San Diego. Near the epicenter, Palms Springs police Sgt. Harvey Reed said his department received no reports of damage or injuries, which is a good thing. Susie Bride, a cashier at Cahuilla Mountain Market and Cafe in Anza, said the quake seemed to last awhile but didn’t do any damage to the business. “It kind of shook and then I thought, ‘God, is that an earthquake?’ It kind of shook and then it rolled a little bit and then it shook again,” she recalled.

Will Smith turned lots of heads in London last week when he appeared at a school assembly and rapped the theme to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air … seriously. The rapper / movie star visited St. Martin-in-the-Fields High School; he was invited by Streatham Member of Parliament Chuka Umunna. Umunna joined him on the Fresh Prince rap. Justin Timberlake Debuts New Tracks at Pre-Super Bowl Concert

Decked out in a suit and tie, Justin Timberlake debuted two tracks beyond ” Suit & Tie ” last night. Accompanied by a 15-piece orchestra, the singer performed his first live concert in five years last night, taking to the stage in New Orleans for a AXS TV/DirecTV-sponsored event. First, there was “Pusher Love Girl,” written about an addictive romance. Crystal Harris Wedding Dress to Be Auctioned Off in Memory of Mary O’Connor

Crystal Harris’ wedding dress, worn during her New Year’s Eve nuptials with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, is ready to hit the auction block for charity. “I am auctioning my wedding dress with @charitybuzz to help raise money for lymphoma in memory of Mary,” the Playmate tweeted Thursday. Mary is, of course, Hef’s secretary Mary O’Connor , who passed away in January. She was a great friend (and “Mansion Mom”) to the girls for 40 years. According to Crystal Harris , Mary even played a key role in their reconciliation after she went all Runaway Bride on him during their first wedding attempt. According to a statement from Charity Buzz, Harris’ partner in the venture: “Crystal is donating this dress in memory of her good friend, Mary O’Connor.” “Mary was Hugh Hefner’s longtime assistant of 40 years, and is credited with helping Crystal reconcile with Hef last year, ultimately leading to their recent wedding.” “Money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Mary’s name.” Bids for the 26-year-old Harris’ gorgeous strapless, floor-length mermaid-style, soft pink Romona Keveza gown and Aruna Seth shoes will start at $1,000. The auction is set to end on February 11.
