Known woman beater Chris Brown has found a new duet partner. The singer, who has teamed up with Justin Bieber in the past and who bludgeoned the face of Rihanna a few years ago, will release a single in the near future alongside teen sensation Ariana Grande. The female star posted an Instagram photo of the artists dancing in the studio together, along with the caption: “#comingsoon #rehearsal.” As you might expect, a number of Grande’s followers are upset about the likely collaboration, considering Brown’s violent history toward women. Some people take those no-texting announcements a little too seriously. Cop Shoots Man For Texting During Movie The situation was not that deep. He didn’t have to kill him. According to NY Daily News: A heated argument over texting during a showing of [the] Mark Wahlberg movie “Lone Survivor” at a Florida movie theater erupted into gunfire on Monday, killing a man and wounding his wife, authorities said. Retired Tampa police officer Curtis Reeves, 71, was arrested and charged with second-degree homicide in the attack at the The Grove 16 theater complex in Wesley Chapel, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department. Police said Nicole and Chad Oulson were seated in front of Reeves and his wife when Chad Oulson made the fatal mistake of pulling out his cell phone during the previews to send text messages. When Oulson refused to put his phone away, despite several requests from Reeves, Reeves pulled out a handgun and shot Chad Oulson in the chest, according to police. Oulson’s wife, who was holding her hand on his chest when the single shot was fired, was also injured by the single bullet. The two victims were transported to a Tampa area hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. “It’s absolutely crazy that it would rise to something like this over someone texting,” Sheriff Chris Nocco told the Tampa Bay Times. Men, watch who you lay down with. Woman Stabs Boyfriend After He Received A Text Message from Another Girl Cheating can almost get you killed these days. According to NY Post reports: A Latvian lovely — famously photographed by The Post in her bloodstained, midriff-baring top and high heels just after she’d knifed her boyfriend — weepily testified in Manhattan court Tuesday that the fateful night’s events began with a fight over her purse. Pretty party girl Yekaterina Pusepa, 23, said she was drinking with boyfriend Alec Katsnelson at their usual downtown Manhattan watering hole, Ryan Maguire’s, on May 22, 2012, when she got up to go to the bathroom. “[I] asked him to look over my clutch, which had my phone, my keys and all my belongings,’’ Pusepa told jurors. “When I came out, I found my clutch was unattended in the middle of the bar. “I went to go look for him, and he was outside,’’ she said. “ At that point, I told him I wanted to go home because it frustrated me. I asked him to take care of something, and he was being irresponsible. “I said I wanted to take my things and go to my girlfriend’s house.’’ The troubled pair did go back to their Gold Street pad — but things took a horrible turn. Prosecutors and Katsnelson, 23, say Pusepa went berserk after her boyfriend received a phone message from another girl — stabbing him in the chest with a 9-inch steak knife, piercing his lungs and nicking his heart. “You didn’t try to take a slice out of the arm, did you?’’ asked Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Leila Kermani. “Instead, you put it directly in his chest,’’ Kermani stated, displaying for jurors on an overhead screen the Post front-page photo of Pusepa crying, still dressed in her club clothes with a bloody palm print and other blood spatter clearly visible on her white top, after the attack. On the stand, Pusepa further claimed that she knifed Katsnelson in a frenzy trying to protect herself from yet another vicious beating after months of violence. “He was kicking me and started punching me, then hit me upside the head, and that’s when I grabbed the knife,’’ she said. But Kermani insisted, “She was already boiling at that point, and he pushed her over the edge, and in that instant, she formed an intent to kill.’’ And to think this all started over a purse. Sad. Boardwalk Empire has started up again, and it’s still out to prove that there’s no inhibition in Prohibition. Another senseless act of violence . Father Of Two Gunned Down According to DNA INFO Salvador Flores stood outside his Avondale home Saturday and pointed to the spot where his brother-in-law, Uriel Guadarramo, had fallen after being shot in the chest Friday evening. Flores said he had looked out his window on the 2800 block of North Spaulding Avenue just before 8 p.m. Friday to see Guadarramo, 36, at the front gate talking with a neighborhood friend named Raul. Ten minutes later, Flores heard five or six shots ring out on the quiet residential block. “I hear Raul screaming my sister’s name to come out,” Flores recalled. “I ran up and looked out the window, and he was already laid out on the ground.” Police said a gunman emerged from between two parked cars and opened fire on two men. A 36-year-old man was fatally shot in his chest, and a 61-year-old man was shot in his lower right leg and suffered a graze wound to the back of his head. Guadarramo was one of three people killed in gun violence Friday and Saturday. Flores ran outside and held Guadarramo in his arms, trying to prop him up to prevent Guadarramo from coughing up too much blood. Flores said he tried to keep his brother-in-law conscious as he held him. “I don’t know if he was trying to talk to me. I couldn’t hear anything,” he said. An ambulance took Guadarramo to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:44 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. But Flores said he already knew brother-in-law was gone when responders put a sheet over Guadarramo in the ambulance. “I knew right then and there,” he said. Flores’ eyes were glazed Saturday as he remembered Guadarramo, whom he had known since he was four years old. Guadarramo and his sister had been married for about 15 years. The two met when they were both 15 years old, he said. “He pretty much raised me,” Flores said of Guadarramo. “He wasn’t my brother-in-law. He was my brother.” Guadarramo leaves behind two young children: a 12-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. On Saturday, a small memorial of candles and notes stood in the grass just outside the gate where Guadarramo was shot. After the shooting, police had asked Flores if Guadarramo may have had a conflict with anyone from the neighborhood, but Flores said Guadarramo was a family man who had lived in the neighborhood his whole life. Guadarramo was a self-employed construction worker who worked long days and enjoyed hosting barbecues for his family, Flores said. “He was a fun person, a hard-working person who loved his family,” he said. “He struggled to make a life for him and his family.” Neighbors said Saturday there may be shootings in the neighborhood every so often, especially in the summertime, but not on the 2800 block of North Spaulding Avenue. “It’s scary,” one neighbor who declined to be named said as small children played across the street. Flores agreed, saying he would not wish what his family is going through on anyone else. “It’s everywhere,” he said of gun violence in Chicago. “The last place you would expect it, it happens.” We feel bad for his kids.
