Maleah Davis: Houston PD Declares Stepfather A Suspect In Missing 4-Year-Old Girl Case

Her stepdad is now a person of interest. Houston police declared Darion Vence a person of interest earlier today after decided he gave “conflicting stories” in regards to missing Maleah Davis. Just hours before Vence became a suspect, CNN’s Nick Valencia spoke directly to Brittany Bownes, Maleah’s mom and she doubts the story circulating about her daughter is true. He tweeted the following quote from Britany Bownes, Maleah’s mom. “His story doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t. But in my gut, I believe him.” Brittany Bowens, mother of missing 4-year-old # MaleahDavis tells me when asked if she believes her fiancé’s story. In a wide ranging phone interview she also denies any abuse at the home. Maleah’s mother says of the step-father. “His story, it don’t sound right…Honestly, I haven’t really talked to him much because I’ve been focused on finding Maleah. I called his family…and he’s devastated.” BREAKING- “His story doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t. Fox 26 reporter Sally McDonald reports that HPD has officially declared Vence a person on interest in Maleah Davis’ disappearance. . @houstonpolice tell Fox 26 Darion Vence is now a person of interest in the disappearance of his stepdaughter, Maleah Davis. Vence told police he, his 2-year-old son and his stepdaughter Maleah were abducted Friday evening by three men in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck. He said he was knocked out by one of the men and when he regained consciousness, Maleah and the family’s car were gone. Are you surprised by this at ALL?

Gabe Rygaard Dies; Ax Men Star Was 45 Years Old

Gabe Rygaard, the former Ax Men star, died on Friday. He was 45.  The reality TV star was involved in a multi-vehicle car crash just outside of his hometown of Port Angeles, Washington.  According to reports, he died from injuries sustained in the crash. The six passengers in the other two cars were treated for minor injuries at the scene of the accident, officials say. The crash allegedly occurred when Gabe’s Ford Bronco crashed moved to the left and hit a Chevrolet Tahoe that stopped in front of him. When Gabe rotated, he crashed into a Dodge Ram.  The horrible thing about all of this, beyond the obvious, is that Gabe was allegedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. NOTE: Details of what happened are still scarce and his cause of death has not been officially confirmed as of this report. Gabe’s father, Craig Rygaard confirmed the news of his passing.  The 45-year-old leaves behind his wife and three children.  Rygaard rose to fame when he joined History’s Ax Men in 2009.  Sadly, Gabe Rygaard’s death means that he is the third person in four years from the series to have passed away.  Fans of the History hit likely recall that Jimmy Smith passed away after a battle with cancer in November 2012.  Not even a year after that tragedy, William Colantuono perished in a helicopter crash in September 2013.  Despite these losses, the TV show was a ratings hit for History, with season 10 set to debut later this year. Whether Rygaard’s death impacts that at all remains to be seen. Stop The Violence: Famed Detroit Bassist Anthony Tolson Killed In Christmas Eve Carjacking

Stop the violence… Anthony Tolson Murdered A famed bassist was tragically killed in Detroit during the Christmas holiday while going to see his family. 33-year-old Anthony Tolson, who toured with the likes of Young Jeezy and Ne-Yo , was murdered on Christmas Eve after assailants fatally shot him and stole his SUV. The Detroit Free Press reports: On Christmas Eve, Anthony Tolson had finished playing bass guitar at a church service and was driving to see his three kids on Detroit’s east side. Yet Tolson never made it. He was shot and killed by multiple assailants who then stole his SUV that contained his bass and gifts for his kids: William, 7; Aaron, 12, and Amber, 13. The tragedy has left his close friends struggling to understand how Tolson, 33, who friends say has toured with artists like Ne-Yo, Young Jeezy, Kelis and J. Moss, became the victim of violence. On Christmas Eve, Tolson finished performing at Central Baptist Church in Detroit. He was headed to his mother’s house on the east side, where his kids were staying and where he planned to open gifts with them in the morning. But at around 9:30 p.m., two assailants ordered Tolson out of his gray Chevrolet Trailblazer near Gratiot and State Fair Avenue before shots were fired, said Sgt. Cassandra Lewis, a Detroit Police spokeswoman. (Police did not identify Tolson by name.) The suspects then drove away in the vehicle, Lewis added. No other details were released. Anyone with information about the shooting can call Detroit Police Homicide Division at 313-596-2260. Ne-yo has since expressed his condolences. This is so incredibly tragic and senseless. Dumb Azzes: Weed Head Runs Out Of Rolling Papers…Calls The Cops To Ask To Borrow Some More

Jeez, help a guy out ! Man Calls 911 To Get More Rolling Papers How high do you have to be before you call up the police for backup drug paraphernalia ?? Apparently so high that herb inexplicably ends up in your ear… Via WHSV : Kyle Dustin Head, 24, according to Sgt. Edwards, placed a 911 call “in a disoriented state requesting drug paraphernalia.” The call reached the Waynesboro Emergency Operations Center. While the 911 center did dispatch personnel to Head’s location, it was not for the purpose Head had in mind. Two Waynesboro Police Department officers arrived and found Head “sitting in a parked 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck which had the strong odor of marijuana emanating from it,” Edwards wrote. The vehicle was in the 1800 block of North Talbott Place. Officers found loose particles of leafy plant matter on the dashboard, passenger seat, and on Head’s clothing. According to Edwards’ statement, it was also found “in his right ear.” It was not explained how the plant matter came to be in his ear. Hey, we doubt he knows either. This guy was half past seeing spaceships on Bankhead by the time he ran out of roll up. WHSV

Seth Gilliam Arrested for Driving REALLY Fast, Possessing Marijuana

For someone who plays a priest on television, Seth Gilliam did not have himself a very holy Sunday. The actor (who starred on The Walking Dead Season 5 as Father Gabriel Stokes and who is also known for his role on The Wire) was busted over the weekend for going 107 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone. According to TMZ insider, Gilliam admitted to police officers that he had consumed three beers and a shot of liquor. After searching his vehicle, police also found a joint that was hidden in the arm rest. He later recorded a .107 blood alcohol level. The incident took place around 2 p.m. in Peachtree City, Georgia, with authorities not caring about Gilliam’s hilarious excuse for nearly doubling the speed limit: That he was driving a Chevrolet Cruze rental car and is used to a Jeep. Gilliam was taken taken into custody (for speeding, DUI and marijuana possession) and tossed into Fayette County Jail. He was eventually released after posting a $9,818 bond. It doesn’t get much more “aint isht” than this… Man Arrested After Hiding 26 Bags Of Drugs In Toddler’s Pockets This guy definitely isn’t going for father of the year …. via Chicago Tribune After police spotted a 2-year-old girl riding in a SUV without a car seat Monday they pulled it over to discover that the girl was riding on her dad’s lap and that he had hidden 26 packages of PCP in her pants’ pocket, officials said. The stop happened 12:45 p.m. as the girl’s 24-year-old father, Emmanuel Wiggins, rode in the SUV, police said. Judge James Brown set bail today for Wiggins at $25,000 after being charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor child endangerment, court records show. Police said Wiggins,  was a passenger inside the 1999 black Chevrolet SUV that they pulled over after seeing the toddler sitting on Wiggins’ lap and not property restrained. After making the stop, they asked Wiggins why the girl wasn’t in a car seat and he replied that he and his daughter were getting dropped off around the corner, police said. While speaking to Wiggins, police smelled a strong chemical odor coming from him that officers believed was PCP, according to a police report. As Wiggins exited the SUV holding the little girl in his arms, police noticed a bulge in her pants, police said. They checked it and found a clear plastic bag containing 26 tin foil packages that were folded up and contained a leafy substance they learned was laced with PCP, police said. As Wiggins was being placed into custody he said: “I’m sorry! I know I (expletive) up! Please don’t take my daughter away!’’ according to a police report. SMH. We’re speechless. Continue reading →

That is NOT what Jesus would do! Texas Pastor Arrested For The Shooting Murder Of His Nephew In Church Parking Lot Via KFDM A Southeast Texas pastor is charged with murder Sunday. Authorities say Reverend Luther Jones shot and killed his nephew, 34-year-old Curtis Jones at the church. People who live in the Belgrade community near Bon Wier were in shock Sunday. Witnesses told investigators that Curtis Jones was on his way to another church this morning. They say Curtis Jones was flagged down by someone at the church and he pulled into the driveway of the Belgrade Baptist Church on Farm Market Road 1416. That’s when witnesses say the Pastor Jones approached the car and started shooting at his nephew. Witness say Curtis Jones was slumped over the wheel and the car started rolling. Neighbors say he apparently stepped on the gas pedal of his Chevrolet Suburban, and it caused the vehicle to shoot across the highway and into a field, where it hit a tree. A family member said there was a long-standing feud between the pastor and his nephew. A judge will arraign Pastor Jones Monday morning. WTF ever happened to “turning the other cheek”???
