WENN.com Obama Plans To Serve For Jury Duty Next Month Former President Barack Obama has been busy trying to clean up the current president’s mess since he sadly departed from the Oval Office, but just like the rest of us civilians, a super busy schedule doesn’t mean anything when it comes down to doing our civic duties. According to Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evans, the former president has been called for jury duty, and he will serve sometime next month. “It is highly appreciated,” Evans told the Chicago Tribune. He obviously did not disclose when Obama will serve, but said that it will occur sometime in the month of November. The former president currently resides in Washington D.C., but will return to his roots in Chicago to serve on a jury. Obama’s name also popped up on a jury duty list at the Bridgeview courthouse in January 2010, but seeing as it was his 2nd year as President Of The United States, he wasn’t able to make it. Oprah Winfrey served on a jury in Cook County as well, and ended up hearing a murder trial in 2004.

However, Variety doesn’t mention if THIS is THAT, but we can put two and two together… The currently untitled multi-camera series would star Howery as a fictionalized version of himself, a prideful, self-made success who lives by the code to “always believe in yourself and great things will come.” But he finds that attitude put to the test when he learns his wife is having an affair with his own barber. He tries to rebuild his life post-divorce as a long-distance single father on the West Side of Chicago on a quest for love, respect, and a new barber. Congratulations! Moux told police that he put Washington to sleep with a choke hold on August 14 to protect his mom. Two were for domestic violence involving Moux’s mother, Pix 11 reported, citing police sources. Moux was charged with manslaughter the day after the killing. A Change.org petition calling for dismissal of the charges racked up more than 152,700 signatures. “It was clear that Luis didn’t do anything wrong. He testified in the grand jury and his story didn’t change a bit,” Moux’s attorney, Walter Fields, told the Daily News. “He’s going to move on with his life,” Fields added. “When you are an innocent man, you just want to move on with your life.”
