So whatever excuse you had for not voting today looks pretty bad right now! Driving her own dayum self to the hospital, Galicia Malone was determined to make sure she voted for the first time…even if her contractions were only FIVE minutes apart! According to Yahoo : Galicia Malone’s contractions were five minutes apart when she arrived at her polling place in Cook County, Illinois, this morning, but that didn’t stop her from studying the ballot carefully and making sure her vote counted. “I was just trying to read and breathe, read and breathe,” the 21-year-old mom-to-be told WBBM Newsradio. “That’s what I kept telling myself, ‘Read and breathe, read and breathe’.” Pregnant with her first child, Malone went into labor four days early. Her water had already broken when she arrived at the aptly named New Life Celebration Church near Chicago around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. But even hard labor wasn’t enough to stop her from voting in her first presidential election. “I never voted before so this made a major difference in my life,” she told WBBM Newsradio. “And I wanted this to be a stepping-stone for my daughter.” She went into labor around 3 a.m., she said, but refused to go to the hospital until after the polls opened. As she left her polling place, she was holding her lower back and smiling widely. She drove herself to South Suburban Hospital. “The pains are pretty steady, but my doctor says to think of it as getting ready to give life,” she told My Fox Chicago. “This is my first baby, a girl, and I wanted to make a good impression. I want to have a story to tell her.” Malone, who lives in the Chicago suburb of Dalton, said that even though she is against abortion, she believes that women have the right to make their own health-related decisions, so she cast her vote this morning for President Barack Obama. “I just agree with more of his policies than with Romney’s,” she said. “I grew up on Sesame Street and PBS,” she added. “He wants to cut that. What will my daughter grow up on?” God bless her and the new life she’s bringing into this world. Images via facebook

On October 23rd, 2012 here in Chicago , my Bieber Experience all started with me waking up in the morning to wait for the FedEx guy to come deliver a package for us . I went outside to get the package and I came back inside the house and was like “My name is on this envelope, I wonder what’s inside?” Then my older sister came home from work for lunch and looked at the envelope. She took it upstairs with her, opened it and saw that I won 2 tickets from the Just Dance 4 contest that I entered (all thanks to Justin for tweeting the link and telling us about it). I asked my sister what was inside and she didn’t say anything. Instead she told me to go take a shower and I did. While I was showering my sister was like “Hurry up, we have 10 minutes to be out the door cause were going to go see Justin Bieber in concert.” I was like SO EXCITED when she told me that. Lucky for me, I had a Justin Bieber shirt to wear. On the way there, my older sister was so nice to me and let me play my Believe CD in her truck. We went to the box office to get our wristbands for the meet & greet. After that I got so excited and was like, ”I’m gonna meet Justin Bieber AHHHH” As the line kept moving, I kept getting more and more excited. I got closer to Justin and said to my older sister, “OMB, THERE HE IS.” Once I got there I said hi to Kenny, Justin’s mom, and I got to give Alfredo a high-five. When I got to Justin I shouted “Hi Justin!” He asked me how I was and then I got to hug him. After we got our picture taken with Justin, we had to leave. I couldn’t talk to him for a while cause he had other beliebers waiting to take a picture with him. Once we went back inside the venue before the concert, me and my sister made our way to buy some JB merch. We went to go take our seats for the concert. First we saw Cody Simpson perform and he did an amazing job. After him was Carly Rae Jepsen and she did an amazing job also. After Carly performed, there was a Justin countdown for when it was his turn to perform. After it hit the zero mark, everybody in the arena was screaming SO LOUD. When Justin was performing I was screaming, dancing and singing so much that I lost my voice after the concert was over. I had the best day of my life and it will be a day that I will never forget. This is my Bieber Experience. -Sarah (@Maslowluver4evr) Read this article: On October 23rd, 2012 here in Chicago, my Bieber Experience all…

A whole lot was poppin’ out West Tuesday. Kelly Rowland was snapped by the paps outside Mr. Chow where she and fellow Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams were spotted celebrating a friend’s birthday. Chell was reppin’ for her Chicago Bears. She still looks like she could eat a full meal of circus animals (elephant included) and not gain an ounce. Hit the flip for more shots of Kelly and Michelle and the ladies of “Hollywood Exes”. [bossip_ad_ad]
