Dear Bossip , I have been divorced for the past four and a half years. I really hate my ex-husband, but have been using poor judgment and still sleeping with him since I lost my job. I have no income besides the child support he pays for our three children. But, he says I sex him so good that he will give me extra money if I have sex with him, which I foolishly have done. One of my New Year resolutions was to stop having sex with him, money or no money. Now I had a suspicion that I was pregnant, and I took the test and it came back positive. I tried telling him but he is being rude and nasty because I reject his many requests and propositions for sex. I would not have a problem keeping this child but I am currently not in an ideal situation for another one. I have no job, no car, I recently lost my home, and my family and I had to move in with family. And before you go there, yes, protection was used. If it broke he lied or didn’t let me know. I don’t want to tell you what to do with the child you’re carrying because when someone like you knowingly and willingly sleep with someone and know the repercussions and possibilities of getting pregnant, and you know your ass is broke and disgusted, then you tell me what you should do? You’re the one who CHOSE to lay in the bed. You’re the one who CHOSE to spread your legs from east to west. You’re the one who CHOSE to sell your body as the hoe you are. And, now you want to know what to do? Girl, please step away from me and the computer screen before I reach through the screen and punch you in the face. But, here is the thing: You’ve been divorced for the past four and a half years. Sooooo, you’ve been having sex with him all this time? Girl, you’re giving me a headache. I don’t even want to answer your damn letter. How can you possibly hate someone so much, yet you lay down, spread your legs, and let them climb on top of you and do their business? Do you value yourself? Do you have any morals or values? Do you have any self-worth or self-esteem? You see, you’re the type of person that makes people want to smack the –ish out of you. I would reach all the way back and do a roundhouse jump and slap you in your MoFo mouth. How dare you ask me what you should do when you put yourself in this damn predicament? How dare you try to play victim and feel betrayed and misused due to the decisions that you made to keep sleeping with your ex-husband? There is a reason he is your ex! There is a reason you’re divorced! There is a reason he treats you the way he does! Please wake up and stop allowing yourself to be used and manipulated. Know your worth and value. Become a woman with a backbone and a stance. Oh, my bad, that requires you knowing that you are a woman with some worth and value. Think about this, and then I’m going to be done with you because it is taking everything out of me to know find out where you live and beat your ass with a belt and bust you upside your head to the white meat with the brass buckle. Your ex-husband does nothing to help you in your situation. You’re broke, homeless, no car, no job, and no money. At no point has your ex-husband made any effort to help you, yet he wants you to lay down with him and bang his lights out? I am truly led to believe that you want to get back with your ex-husband. You have a secret desire that the two of you will work things out and live happily ever after. You’re hoping that by continuing to sleep with him that your snatch will make him realize the error of his ways and come running back to you. Well, look here Ms. Hee-Haw, he hasn’t, he isn’t, and he won’t. You’re just someplace to dump his seeds and use as his personal nut rag. I am begging you and urging you to please think about your unborn child, and your other three children. Think about the situation you will bring this child into and how you’re emotionally, and mentally inept to care for this child. Think about your family you’re living with and how they may not be so receptive and welcoming of having you bring another child into their home. And, think about the mouths you have to feed right now, and how it is a struggle to feed and clothe your current three children. This is sad: Prosecutors filed murder charges Wednesday against a 10-year-old boy accused of fatally stabbing his 12-year-old friend in an East County neighborhood. A detention hearing for the boy is planned for Thursday morning in Juvenile Court. Ryan Carter, 12, was stabbed in the chest about 1:15 p.m. Monday in the driveway of the younger boy’s home in the 12500 block of Royal Road in the unincorporated Winter Gardens area, near El Cajon, according to sheriff’s officials. Paramedics took Carter to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, where he died about 2:30 p.m., Lt. Larry Nesbit said. The alleged killer’s name was withheld due to being a juvenile. Glen Carter said his family is coping with their son’s death and has mixed feelings about the murder charge. “It’s just sad for both families. This is going to be tough to get through,” Carter said. “It’s up to the courts now.” The suspect’s age will play a factor in the trial. The judge could require the 10-year-old to undergo mental evaluation which could take up to eight months before the trial could move forward, a criminal attorney told Fox 5. The attorney said the suspect’s parents are not at fault, but could face civil action. The suspect, who was reportedly being medicated for aggressive behavior problems, was being held in Juvenile Hall while prosecutors reviewed the case. In her first interview since having her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce is every bit the gushing new mom you’d expect. But she also defended the precautions she and husband Jay-Z took to protect their privacy during the birth. In the wake of the birth there were several reports that other parents were kept from seeing their children due to security restrictions at Lenox Hill hospital placed by the Carters. Beyonce defended the hospital lockdown in an exclusive interview with Star magazine: “Security was very tight, not for the sake of it. It was for the security of our daughter.” When asked about being a new mother, Bey said: “Nothing can describe the feeling. Turns out that Beyonce is not the only species in nature that’s bootylicious Now there’s a horsefly that bears her name thanks to their shared asset. Beyonce may be one of the biggest pop divas out there, but she isn’t the only diva with that name. A previously unnamed species of horse fly with a glamorous golden rear end has been named Beyonce because it is the “all-time diva of flies,” researchers say. Bryan Lessard, a researcher from Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, is responsible for officially describing the fly and naming it Scaptia (Plinthina) beyonceae, according to the Australian National Insect Collection. Beyonce isn’t the first celebrity to be honored with her own species. Traditionally named after scientists involved in their discovery, organisms have also been linked to the likes of Harrison Ford, Matt Groening (creator of “The Simpsons”), Mick Jagger and other celebrities, including a beetle named after Roy Orbison. The rare Scaptia (Plinthina) beyonceae species of horse fly was collected in 1981 (the year that Beyonce was born) together with two other previously unknown specimens from northeast Queensland’s Atherton Tablelands. The singer Beyonce, on the other hand, was a member of the group Destiny’s Child, which recorded the 2001 hit single “Bootylicious.” The fly got its booty-ful name from its extreme diva feature: a big gold butt. “It was the unique dense golden hairs on the fly’s abdomen that led me to name this fly in honor of the performer Beyonce as well as giving me the chance to demonstrate the fun side of taxonomy — the naming of species,” Lessard said in a statement. Horse flies like the newly named one play an important role in ecology by pollinating plants. “Horse flies act like hummingbirds during the day, drinking nectar from their favorite varieties of grevillea, tea trees and eucalypts,” Lessard said. The Beyonce fly is one of five detailed in Lessard’s paper, published in the online version of the Australian Journal of Entomology in August and announced on Friday. This discovery has doubled the number of known species within the Scaptia (Plinthina) subgenus and extended the known distribution of Scaptia into the Northern Territory and northwestern Australia, where they were not previously thought to exist. “Most Australian Scaptia species have been described, however, these five ‘new’ species of a subgroup (Plinthina) have been housed in Australian collections since the group was last studied in the 1960s,” Lessard said. Apparently, the singer hasn’t had a chance to respond to the news. The CSIRO blog post reads: “News@CSIRO has sought a response from Beyonce about the great honor bestowed upon her but is yet to receive a response. … Beyonce has recently had her first larva, sorry, child, and may be too busy to respond.” Dang. Producer Noah ’40’ Shebib gives MTV News the inside story in an exclusive interview. By Steven Roberts Drake Photo: John Shearer/ Getty Images Despite all the critical and commercial acclaim Drake ‘s Take Care has rightly earned, the Toronto MC has remained relatively quiet when promoting the album. Relative in the sense that Thank Me Later ‘s release was accompanied by the hoopla of in-store signings and a documentary . That’s not the only way the two projects differ. Where TML featured a number of A-list hitmakers, from Kanye West to Swizz Beatz, the biggest name in Drake’s sophomore effort’s production credits is Just Blaze. The album certainly doesn’t suffer from that lack of notoriety, however. In fact, it sounds more focused with the lesser-known T-Minus , and Drake’s right-hand man Noah “40” Shebib stealing the show. Their efforts helped to make it more Drake’s album — however introspective, weird and altogether refreshing that might be. When MTV News caught up with 40, he attributed their creative fearlessness to the autonomy Lil Wayne and Cash Money allowed them. “We’re afforded all of the creative freedom in the world,” 40 explained. “They really trust us and have from day one. It’s a great feeling to know that me and Drake just get to make music. We don’t really have to clear it with A&Rs or anybody. We are our own A&R’s. We just make it happen, and we take it, say, ‘Hey, look, this is what we did. Let’s put it out.’ ” 40 gave MTV News the inside look at the making of many Take Care songs, including those that shows us another side of Weezy: “HYFR” (produced by T-Minus) “He trusts us enough to take chances; he’ll go there with his raps. Not just getting on the song, but he’ll participate [in the song’s theme]. On ‘HYFR,’ he’ll show that introspective side of himself along with Drake. That’s amazing, and those are some of Wayne’s illest moments, always have been for him. “The Real Her” (produced by 40 and Drake) “Even on ‘The Real Her,’ a lot of people will be like, ‘Nah, nah, I can’t get on that sh–,’ but Wayne will be like, ‘F— that. … I’m going to get on that sh–.’ … I like it.’ And that’s what it is to me. You have to make music with that attitude. We love the music we make.” “Take Care” (produced by Jamie xx and 40) “We’ve always been a fan of Jamie as well as the xx, and we had been to their studio and sat with them prior to this when we were in London last year. We had loved that Gil-Scott [Heron] record, and the remix Jamie had done, and I guess between Oliver and Drake and myself, but specifically Oliver and Drake felt that song never got its shine. ‘Man, what a great record. It never was as big as it should’ve or could’ve been.’ ” “Motto” (produced by T-Minus) “That song was right at the end of the process. That’s one of my favorites. T[-Minus] sent the record to Drake. I think Drake cut it in Vegas, maybe. He cut the vocals, sent it over to me, I gave it to Gadget, Gadget mixed it, sent it to mastering the next morning and got it mastered, on radio 24 hours later.” “Headlines” (produced by Boi-1da and 40) “There’s a couple of things about radio. That’s a catchy song. ‘They know, they know, they know.’ It’s corny, it’s catchy, it’s perfect. That will run on radio all day. You balance with those evils when you make music. I understand what’s going to work on radio as much, sometimes I want to make different types of music. But the thing is, you want to win. You want to have your cake and eat it too.” “Crew Love” (produced by 40, the Weeknd and Illangelo) ” ‘Crew Love’ is just a moment for Drake as far at the content of the record and what was going on around him in life and his people and his team. That was just an important record for him to make, and Weeknd was someone he wanted to include on that.” “The Ride” (produced by Doc McKinney and the Weeknd) “Was really just a vibe. It was a vibe that the Weeknd caught, and it was just so crazy that Drake wanted to rap on it — as simply put as that.” “Underground Kings” (produced by T-Minus and 40) “Sometimes, Drake will have a song title in his head or an idea of what the record is and what he wants it to be and then he’ll search for the beat, and I think he found that beat from T-Minus. It was just a matter of finding a place for the chorus. We got the mix right and the bass sort of eating up any speaker that gets in the way of it.” “Marvin’s Room” (produced by 40) “The honesty is mind blowing. He says things in that record that are like, ‘Whoa, really?’ But that’s shock value, and that’s a great thing to bring to the table. The further it goes, the bigger the smile on my face. I want him to say the craziest sh– you can imagine.” “Buried Alive” (produced 40 and Supa Dups) “I had given it to Drake at some point, because he had asked for it or wanted it. He just sent it to Kendrick [Lamar] at some point. I had no idea.
