Evelyn Lozada Wants At Least One Ochocinco

Evelyn Lozada has a 10-carat ring on her finger and an 85 on her arm. But there’s another number she’s focused on in the wake of her engagement to Chad Ochocinco : One. That’s how many children she’s hoping to have with this wide receiver, at least for now. “I definitely want an Ochocinco,” Lozada tells Latina Magazine. “I don’t know if I want cinco, but I want an Ochocinco. I have a daughter; she’s 17 and she’s about to go to college. I still have the desire to be a mother and I did such a great job with her that I’m like, ‘Let me do this again.’ I would love to have a boy.” With Basketball Wives returning to VH1 this Sunday – yes, she’s still on it, despite being engaged to a football player; you do the math – Evelyn touched on a number of other topics with the publication, as well. Will the couple star on their own reality show? We’ve talked about it and I don’t know. I always hear that when you do a reality show with your fianc

Rielle Hunter Wants to Marry John Edwards Now

As friends and family mourning the death of Elizabeth Edwards, one celebrity news site waited a whole 12 hours before working the Rielle Huner angle. The infamous mistress of John Edwards hopes she and the former Democratic presidential candidate can get married now, according to Radar Online . A source close to Rielle Hunter says she “has been very patient” and “believes that John is her soul mate, and thinks they are going to get married.” Rielle Hunter in her bizarre GQ photo spread earlier this year . To those who applauded her courage in dealing with John, who cheated on her and knocked up Rielle while Elizabeth battled cancer, this won’t go over well. At the time of Elizabeth Edwards’ death , she was estranged from John. Radar ‘s source revealed that Hunter has been closely watching Elizabeth’s situation. “She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She’s been selfish and horrible this whole time, no matter what else has been said about her,” the source said. THG NOTE : That’s pretty much all we’ve said about her . Hunter currently lives in a home paid for by John Edwards. She lives there with their young daughter Quinn, the child John adamantly denied was his . The National Enquirer busted him visiting Rielle and Quinn in a Beverly Hills hotel in 2008, after he lost the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama. As for how Rielle will respond publicly to the news that Elizabeth has passed away, the source said they doubted what she said would be heartfelt. She never expressed regret for her role in the scandal, even denying she was a home wrecker and basically blaming Elizabeth for John straying. Basically, don’t expect a lot of sympathy now. “She will say some nice things about Elizabeth, but only if it makes her look good,” the source said. How Rielle Hunter could possibly look good, we don’t know.

Teen Mom-ster: Amber Portwood Goes Off on New Gary Shirley Plaything

We can debate all day whether or not MTV glorifies teen pregnancy , but one of its more infamous reality stars certainly doesn’t make her life look appealing. Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is once again in the spotlight, and it’s not because her baby daughter’s so darn cute. It’s because of – you guessed it – RAGE. We reported recently about Amber’s ex, Gary Shirley , creepin’ on random girls. Turns out he’s started dating one of them, and the situation came to a head. Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley and Leah in less turbulent times . “Gary and his new girl were hanging out on Friday night and Amber was late night texting him like she always does,” a source close to the situation said. “His date thought it was inappropriate, the things Amber said, so she called and told her to quit trying to get him to hang out because he’s moved on.” Portwood has also moved on with Clinton Yunker , but friends close to the reality TV star say she still holds out hope of getting back with Gary Shirley. “Amber was jealous that Gary’s been with other girls since they broke up,” the source said . “Gary’s new girlfriend is way prettier than Amber and it drives her crazy. She even asked her what someone as pretty as her would want with Gary.” Portwood was so upset that she went over to Shirley’s house and demanded that he delete his new girlfriend’s phone number from his cell phone. “Gary really likes this new girl, but he was mad at her for telling Amber they were dating and stirring the pot … he knows the way Amber can be.” “The whole thing was really weird because then all of a sudden Amber Portwood flipped the switch and started trying to befriend Gary’s new girl.” Portwood was charged with domestic abuse following the airing of an episode of Teen Mom where she hit Shirley and the Indiana Department of Child Protective Services temporarily removed their daughter Leah from her home. Leah is now back home with Amber , but remains under DCS supervision. “Amber insisted on doing a three-way call with Gary and his new girl but got angry when she heard the way he was talking to the new girl because she said it was ‘how he used to talk to me,'” the insider said … and so the saga goes.

Brooke Mueller Checks into Sober Living Facility, Reality Show Unaffected

The mother of Brooke Mueller has confirmed that her child is still battling with substance abuse problems. In fact, Moira Fiore says Mueller has checked herself into a sober living facility for about the next two weeks. “She is struggling with her sobriety and we are going away on a cruise so we feel better that she will be there while we are gone,” says Fiore. “It is a facility for very wealthy people trying to fight addictions. Brooke is really trying to get her life back.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound as though Brooke is as happy and healthy as she previously claimed . But there is this piece of good news, courtesy of Kathy Hilton, who is shooting an Oxygen reality show with Mueller and daughter Paris Hilton: “Brooke is fine and taking preventative measures. [It] won’t affect the show.” Thank goodness. We can all breathe easier now.

TSA recommendation: Tell children airport pat-downs are ‘a game’

An expert in the fight against child sexual abuse is raising the alarm about a technique the TSA is reportedly using to get children to co-operate with airport pat-downs: calling it a “game”. Ken Wooden, founder of Child Lures Prevention, says the TSA's recommendation that children be told the pat-down is a “game” is potentially putting children in danger. Telling a child that they are engaging in a game is “one of the most common ways” that sexual predators use to convince children to engage in inappropriate contact, Wooden told Raw Story. Children “don't have the sophistication” to distinguish between a pat-down carried out by an airport security officer and an assault by a sexual predator, he said. The TSA policy could “desensitize children to inappropriate touch and ultimately make it easier for sexual offenders to prey on our children,” Wooden added. added by: maasanova

The House Finally Passes The Child Nutrition Act

Photo: Ben+Sam Not a moment too soon the House passed The Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act just two days ago after it passed the Senate in August. This is long overdo as far as I’m concerned and just before the holiday season, it puts school nutrition and our kids on the front burner again. That’s not to say that disconcerting compromises didn’t make for a less than perfect bill, but getting

Video Of Heroic Parents Battle Against Carjacker To SaveTheir Baby Girl In Backseat

If they hadn’t known it already, a young couple learned just how powerful a parent’s love for a child can be in a dark and desolate gas-station parking lot on a cold night three days before Thanksgiving. And if he didn’t know it before, the man who tried to steal Melanie and Aaron Richman’s 1997 Pontiac Grand Am learned the same lesson in the same Kansas City lot. More about People The Richmans’ 6-month-old daughter, Samantha, was in the backseat of that car and there was no way they were going to let a carjacker drive off with her, they told TODAY’s Matt Lauer on Friday. Driving their Pontiac from Colorado to a new home in Missouri, the Richmans were leading a convoy of relatives driving rented vans when they stopped at a Phillips 66 gas station for one last break in their long journey. Leaving their car running to keep their daughter warm, the Richmans stepped away from the car briefly to talk to their relatives. It was just long enough for a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt to jump in the driver’s seat of the car and pop it into reverse. Melanie Richman’s mother yelled “Go! Go! Go!” when she saw what was unfolding, and the chase was on. What happened next was caught on the gas station’s security cameras. Melanie Richman, 22, cocked her right elbow in an attempt to break the passenger-side window. Aaron Richman, also 22, gave his wife the push she needed to provide the force to break the window. As Melanie was being dragged by the moving car, Aaron jumped through the open passenger window and confronted the carjacker. Teen arrested in Lakeland carjacking “As soon as that window shattered, my goal was to just get in there as fast as I could and get him out,” Aaron Richman told Lauer. “I started kicking him on the right side of his face as hard as I could.” While Aaron was kicking the man, Melanie lost her grip and fell to the pavement. Her brother can be seen on the tape chasing the car as it disappears around a building. When the Pontiac re-enters the frame, it can be seen crashing into an embankment in the distance. The carjacker exited the vehicle and ran off. He remains at large. Taken by surprise by a carjacker during a gas station stop, young parents Melanie and Aaron Richman snapped into action and were dragged by the speeding vehicle before Melanie managed to smash the window, allowing Aaron to get in and save their daughter . “He didn’t say anything to me at all,” Aaron said. Instincts take over It was unclear whether the man intended to steal the car, the baby, or both. But what was clear to the Richmans was that if they had been unable to stop him from leaving the parking lot with Samantha, they might never have seen her again. Although there was broken glass from the shattered window in her child seat, Samantha was not hurt. She was crying when Melanie handed her to the baby’s grandmother. Except for a badly bruised elbow and a bump on her head from the fall to the pavement, Melanie Richman was not seriously hurt in the incident. Feeding Samantha from a bottle, Melanie admitted to Lauer that she still feels shaken by what happened. Miracle babies survive car crash in nursery “It scares me every night. I’m terrified of the dark,” said Melanie, a college student. “I’m afraid he might want revenge.” As for Aaron, the incident was a wake-up call. “I have my guard up 125 percent of the time now. There is no rest for me basically,” he said. “I have to make sure my family is safe at all times.” The Richmans hope their story will serve as a cautionary tale for other new parents, as well as a testament to the enormous power of a parent’s love for their offspring and the seemingly superhuman strength people sometimes get in a crisis. “Pretty much I would have just done everything different,” Aaron said. “But I’m grateful that everything we did, we did fast and instinctively”. added by: keithponder

Nicole Kidman Talks Babies, Nightmares At ‘Rabbit Hole’ Premiere

‘I was having nightmares and I was really shaken,’ she tells MTV News about tackling difficult role. By Eric Ditzian Nicole Kidman Photo: MTV News Several years ago, when Nicole Kidman was pregnant with her daughter, she began developing a big-screen adaptation of “Rabbit Hole,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning play about parents suffering through the unimaginable loss of their young son. The experience of bringing a life into the world while simultaneously shepherding a project about a life lost was an intensely affecting one for the actress, as she explained on Thursday at the film’s red-carpet premiere. When production on “Rabbit Hole” began, daughter Sunday Rose was a year old, and Kidman found it difficult to let go of the characters at the end of each day. “[It] deeply affects me,” she told MTV News. “There were times when I woke in the middle of the night and I was having nightmares and I was really shaken by it. And that’s when I know when something’s really seeped into my subconscious and is disturbing me.” Co-star Aaron Eckhart — who plays Kidman’s husband, one half of a couple being torn apart by the death of their child — similarly found himself reevaluating the idea of marriage and fatherhood. “It made me reflect on parenthood,” he explained. “I’m not a father and I’m not married. Maybe someday I will be. I just put myself in that position of losing my son and almost losing my wife. I learned a lot about grief.” As dark as the material can be at times, the red carpet was anything but a depressing affair. Kidman was all smiles as she posed for pictures and answered questions alongside her husband, country music star Keith Urban. Jon Hamm, Parker Posey and co-star Sandra Oh were also on-hand for the celebration. Director John Cameron Mitchell pointed out that the festive mood was in keeping with the overall message of “Rabbit Hole,” which opens in limited release on December 17. “It isn’t depressing,” he said. “You are going to intense places, but everybody loves a good cry. Some people get that out in therapy, but many Americans do it through their entertainment. And this is an entertaining film despite its heaviness and it does end up with a lot of hope.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Rabbit Hole.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
