F ilm mogul Tyler Perry has used his resources to brighten up the holiday season for families in need. He took to Instagram to share the surprise. “I was trying to do this anonymously but due to some circumstances, y’all know nothing stays secret these days. So I just wanted to go ahead and tell you,” he said in a video. “I have paid for all of your layaways for Christmas. So Merry Christmas to everybody. You got to go into the Walmart, get your layaway and pay a penny, one penny, and you get your layaway. I know it’s hard times and a lot of people are struggling. I’m just really really grateful to be able to be in a position to do this. So, God bless you. Go get your stuff.” Perry’s generosity had a huge impact on shoppers, many of whom had hit hard times and didn’t know how they would be able to afford gifts for Christmas. “My mom was crying because she didn’t know what she was going to do. I’m more happy that my mom is feeling better,” said the child of a shopper in a statement, according to CBS46 . This isn’t the first time that Perry has extended a helping hand t those in need. Earlier this year after hearing a story about a small Georgia-based church that had their van stolen, he found it in his heart to purchase a new van for the church members. In this age of social media, many parents have taken their forms to punishment to the net to embarrass their children into behaving. Many of those punishments have been egregious and cruel, but this one seems to be reasonable. That said, someone will always find a way to be faux outraged… According to 13ABC , Ohio dad Matt Cox was sick and tired of his 10-year-old daughter being suspended from school for bullying her classmates, so he decided he was going to put an end to it. Cox forced his daugther to walk 5 miles to school in 36-degree weather over her 3-day suspension and uploaded his recording to Facebook. Many parents applauded Cox for teaching his daughter a lesson, other, more sensitive types were big mad: Something is wrong in the home if this is how you try to teach your child how to be a good person. Punishments may make a kid stop doing the behavior, but it doesn’t change their heart. You need to sit down and figure out why she is bullying, spend some TIME, instead of just punishing. This time, it all stemmed from Alexis Skyy’s back and forth with Fetty Wap , and his apparent refusal to acknowledge her baby girl Alaiyah as his own. During the episode, Alexis claimed that the main reason that Fetty was reluctant to claim his child is that her ex-boyfriend and fellow LHHH castmate Solo Lucci has been running around claiming the baby could be his. We had a chance to chat with Solo Lucci recently and asked him directly if he believed he is the f ather of baby Alaiyah . Here’s what he exclusively told us about it. Are you Alexis Skyy’s real baby father? Don’t nobody know but her and God. I’ve reached out to her multiple times about taking a test, but she was so adamant to me that it wasn’t mine. She told me over and over that it wasn’t. At this point, I figure she knows. It’s her body. I don’t really know what’s happened since then, I‘ve been trying to get to the bottom of it. I think kids need their fathers, so I still do plan to take a DNA test. I tried to go take one, flew in, but when I got there she had left town for an appearance or something. So I’ll just have to try to find a time to go back and handle it. If Alaiya is indeed yours, do you plan to help take care of her? Absolutely! If she’s mine I’ll definitely step up and be a father. According to a post the blogging site made on Monday, all adult content will be banned from the site. This includes “images, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples” and anything that “depicts sex acts.” Still with us? Still breathing? Cool. There’s more. Some nudity will still be allowed on the site, such as certain types of artistic, education, newsworthy, or political content. “Illustrations and art that feature nudity are still okay — so long as sex acts aren’t depicted — and so are breastfeeding and after-birth photos,” according to Tumblr. The new guidelines also won’t ban text, so if you go to Tumblr for your latest erotica readings, all is well! However, if you’re there for anything else…it’s a wrap. Tumblr will send out an email notice to members whose content has been flagged as adult. People who get the flags will have their content reverted to a private setting that’s only viewable by them. Tumblr made the changes days after they were removed from Apple’s iOS App Store when child pornography was found on the site. “We’re committed to helping build a safe online environment for all users, and we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to media featuring child sexual exploitation and abuse,” Tumblr said in a statement. “Every image uploaded to Tumblr is scanned against an industry database of known child sexual abuse material, and images that are detected never reach the platform. A routine audit discovered content on our platform that had not yet been included in the industry database. We immediately removed this content.” Now, days after the incident, Tumblr doesn’t want people to conflate their new policy changes with the child pornography incident. However, they’re adamant about moving the site in a new direction. “As Tumblr continues to grow and evolve, and our understanding of our impact on our world becomes clearer, we have a responsibility to consider that impact across different age groups, demographics, cultures, and mindsets,” they said in their Monday post. “We spent considerable time weighing the pros and cons of expression in the community that includes adult content. In doing so, it became clear that without this content we have the opportunity to create a place where more people feel comfortable expressing themselves.” They even threw a little shade at the end of their blog post basically saying, “calm down ya, there’s still Pornhub.” “There are no shortage of sites on the Internet that feature adult content,” they wrote. “We will leave it to them and focus our efforts on creating the most welcoming environment possible for our community.” Cute. But the Internet was not having it. Many people agreed that porn and adult content was the reason people went on Tumblr in the first place. Taking that from the site could be the end. If you’ve been keeping up with Jenelle Evans and David Eason and their marriage, then this may come as a shock to you … But things aren’t going so hot right now. … Wait, what’s that you say? Jenelle always picks the worst guys, and David is certainly no exception . When they first started dating and he began appearing on Teen Mom 2, he was weirdly aggressive, and he also did his best to alienate her from other people. He was mean to her kids, he was mean to her mom, and he practically forbade her to speak with Nathan Griffith, even though they share a son, Kaiser. Oh, and let’s not forget that his ex had a restraining order against him for allegedly being violent with her while she was pregnant with their child. Things didn’t get better after they got married, either. There’s always been rumors and speculation that he’s been abusive towards her, but she confirmed that back in October when she called 911 after a fight . As she told the operator through sobs, he knocked her to the ground so hard that she thought she heard her collarbone snap. She went to the hospital that night, but since then, she’s been insisting that he didn’t hurt her. Since then, they’ve been a little extra affectionate with each other, even going on a cross-country road trip without their children . But for the past week or so, they’ve been unfollowing, re-following and unfollowing each other again on Instagram. And if that’s not a sign of trouble, we don’t know what is. We still don’t know exactly what’s going on, although Jenelle did post a crying emoji to her Instagram story this morning. But thanks to this new video David shared yesterday, we’re very, very terrified: David Eason: Check Out My Assault Rifle! Yeah, so that’s David shooting an assault rifle in his yard. In his caption, he wrote “They will say I’ve gone off the deep end just wait for it!” Most people wouldn’t say that, though, because he’s very obviously been off the deep end for a long time now. But thanks for trying, Dave! In the comments, he claimed that he was shooting at mosquitos, and when someone asked why he has a gun like this, he replied “To piss off people like you.” And then when someone else told him that this wasn’t the best example to set for his kids, he said “That’s how they learn around here.” Another person commented with “You don’t have much to do, do ya?” “Yea, I got a lot of guns to shoot,” he answered. It’s all just so weird and awful and tragic and upsetting, and so many other bad things. Like, in the time it took to write this, Jenelle deleted her sad-face emoji and followed David again, but as of this very second, he’s still not following her. Whatever is going on down in North Carolina, it’s clearly not great. We just hope that Jenelle and the kids are safe, and that David somehow manages to calm down and work on all the many, many things that are wrong with him .
